| What was this feeling.
Something blurry revealed itself in front of the samurai that seemed to be laying down. What was he looking at, or even what was he looking for. A set of light revealed itself in front of the shinigami, or was it over him, he didn't know. Raising his hand in front of his view he gave it a good glance, making sure that it was his, he closed it and reopened it slowly starting to feel his muscles one by one.
He let his head drop to one side looking at the room he was in, at first glance it seemed to be a hospital room, but nothing showed that he was alone, well atleast he was alone being treated in this room.
Alot of nurses were walking around and a small smile appeared on the lips of the samurai, he knew it now, this was heaven, or atleast it felt like it, last he could remember he was in the fight of his life to help someone make it back to the soul society, ultimately it was his own path to redemption, something that he would allow to himself as a token for self forgiveness, looks to him like he had succeeded alot more than he had anticipated.
More and more he was realizing what was really happening around him, this was the 4th division barracks and those were 4th division nurses. This wasn't heaven, it was Soul Society.
He sat up on his bed and looked out now feeling his whole being, he looked to the side of his bed and he noticed his clothing and a half burnt bandanna. Memories flowed through him but he dug them deep making sure to keep those feelings for himself. He put on his shinigami clothes slowly and took his bottle who hadn't been emptied, he took a swig and huffed off his condition.
He felt fine, he wanted to see the sun, he wanted to see his captain let him know that he was up and ready for action. He swiftly shunpoed out of the 4th division, quickly feeling his energy leaving him, it wasn't the time for him to be jumping around.
He started walking through the streets and directed towards the second division barracks. The sun was glaring at him as if he had done something wrong but he didn't mind, he felt alive, even more alive than he had been in his real life, if he could remember anything of it would be even better.
Soon after he could see the gates of the second division, a sight to behold with the guards looking at him, he walked towards them knowing that they would let him through.
Ah, it felt good to be home..
