| As Anna trained in Soul Society during a six person spar something was awaiting her in the World of the Living; a stir of the clouds as an energy starts thriving. A great breeze entered the air; a leaf that fell lifted beyond care! It floated through the branches of trees; rushing past it all as if on the seas. The soft humming of the wind pushed it along; the darkness of night hiding the wrong. In the shadows there were resting Hollow; the leaf couldn't resist the urge to follow. It fell upon the deathly white mask; the slumber stopping as they began their task.
The Hollow waited for something big: something grand! They waited and waited, but at last they disband. A mark was left behind for all to find; a skull on the ground that is a warning not so blind.
-Many Long Hours Later-
A Senkaimon opened and out came a group of Shinigami academy students. They looked around as the last person floated gracefully to the ground. It was a female with long red hair and bright blue eyes. Even though her eyes were covered by her hair it could still be seen through the shine of her hair. She had a bandage over her left shoulder and a cut on her cheek that was very little. The area had a strange air to it, and this reflected upon the Shinigami around. They were all shivering except those at a higher level, and Anna started to back away, stepping directly on the skull left for her to see. She didn't notice it though, she was paying more attention to things that could attack her. There were a couple distinct reiatsu's around. One of these reiatsu's disappeared quickly, and this happening scared her. Did these Hollow know an equivalent of Shunpo? Something she can't even imagine to learn at this time?
"Okay everybody. Stay together, and don't get killed!" said one of the people leading the happening, and Anna slightly laughed at how obvious that comment was. There was something abnormal about the air and yet she couldn't point out what it was. The other Shinigami were scared to shaking, and this was a sign of weakness to the hollows. Something that she didn't want to show at all. She started to charge kido, and made sure that she kept her awareness high. As she looked down to concentrate she saw the skull, and in her mind rushed thoughts of death. She drew out her blade and stabbed it into the skull; a pitiful leaf being impaled along with it. A pitiful leaf that was forgotten by the wind.

| Tim would be one of the Academy Students who went on this little trip. Though he could say that his guard was higher than anyone else. As he had already ran into one hollow on his trip back to the world of the living, only a week ago. Stepping through the Senkaimon, he would be the last to enter the realm of the living.
He listened to the older and more experienced mans words and decided it would be best to stick with the other students. As last time he took a field trip, his class was ambushed by a Hollow. Noticing a familiar female body type and red hair, he stepped closer to her. Noticing a slight fear within her he did not wish to startle her.
"Anna, it's Tim." Just as his words slipped from his lips, he noticed that she had stabbed a skull on the ground. "I would suggest against disturbing the dead my friend. As they dead do not ever stay dead, as we have all come to realize." Though he may of been just speaking about himself on that note. As he was convinced, prior to his entrance into the spirit world, that when you die; that's it game over. He had been proven wrong upon entering the spirit world and entering the Academy for Shinigami.

| As the senkaimon opened a creature stirred on a nearby tree he had a bluish gray figure a long tail wrapped around the tree and holding on it near the top. The creatures name was Helado he was waiting here with a pack of other hollows who seemed to be waiting for these shinigami. As helado breahted the air grew cold around him and the tree he was holding onto started to ice over and as it did that helado eyed the shinigami he was picking his targets the first ones that came to his eye was a femal student who had red hair and another who was a male with red hair also. These two seemed to interest helado maybe this plan of the other hollows could be worth his time.
Helados red eyes pierced the night as the ice started to reach the ground the air becoming even more colder. "Eani miney moe, who shall be my first target, how about all of you" Helado said with a cackle as an ice orb formed in his hand and once it reached basketball size he fired it into the crowd of shinigami and as it hit the ground the orb shattered into many small ice shards aiming to tear through the shinigami and the students.

| Anna just nodded, and lifted her Asauchi as soon as the ball of ice from a hidden hollow exploded in the middle of the group. Luckily, she and Shiba were a bit farther back from the group and wouldn't be in the radius of its high damage rate. Suddenly the students were busy as a group of five hollow ambushed the small group of eight. This was ridiculous! Why would there be so many hollow grouped in this one place for no reason? There must be some kind of answer! Anna pondered on this as she moved her hair out of her face. She heard footsteps from behind her, a seventh Hollow! She spun around and blocked an attack that was aimed for Shibata, a smile on her face.
"Shibata, how well are you with your Kido?" Anna asked as she scanned the hollow. It was a moderately sized one, and had two long, armored arms. The arms came to a point as spears, and the feet resembled that of a birds. The mask was shaped like a Gillian's, but had strange curve to it. She looked past it and at the tree behind it, ignoring the wings that were like an eagles. If she could bind the hollow to the tree, she'd be able to help the group behind her.
"Shibata! Use whatever Bakudo you know on the hollow! Make sure that you get them tied down and unable to react to an attack so that the group can dispatch them." she said. She looked over at the higher up to see how he was doing, and saw that he was knocked out from an excess of ice to his head. Hell, he was pretty much dead. She then lifted let her sword fall back a little, and she wrapped herself around the hollows arm. It went into a rage and lifted her into the air, ready to slam her to the ground. She had no time for an incantation and just aimed at the Hollows head.
"Bakudo #1: Sai!" she shouted, letting go of the hollow. The momentum she gained cause her to fly upwards, but her aim was true. The Hollows arms suddenly went to its back and it started to stumble around. Anna landed on the Hollows mask clumsily, and as it tried to shake her off she managed to stab her blade through the head. The hollow disintegrated.

| The wind blew swiftly past his ears. It brought peace into Tim's dead heart to feel the comforts of the world of the living once more. He was quickly brought back to reality when an unexpected Hollow attack came. He felt a strange feeling deep within his gut; like he could sense those around him. Was this the raietsu that the other students had spoken of? Tim thought to himself. Then a crackle broke the silence of the forests as an ice ball crashed into the ground where the rest of the class were standing. Ice shards immediately splintered and entered most of their bodies. Some died instantly and it was apparent that the older man, perhaps proctor, was heavily injured.
Tim quickly reacted, withdrawing his blade and turning his back to Anna. Just as she quickly asked him how well he was with his kido. In truth, Tim knew nothing about the spells. Just what he had seen from her and read in the short time in the library. He gave her a quick answer before countering one of the Hollow's creeping down the trunk of a tree closest to them. "I'm not good at all with those spells, but I will make up for it with my blade!" He said, almost encouraging her. He lifted his right foot up to the trunk of the tree and the left would follow. As he chased the Hollow up the tree to meet it head on. His Asauchi in front of him, he slashed horizontally at the Hollow. Though the spirit would block it, he would continue his assault and jump off of the tree. Flipping in the air over himself and landing on the Hollow with a solid thud. Thus he would bring his blade down hard upon the mask of the Hollow; hoping to break the vengeful spirits rage.
The next words that Anna spoke never caught his ears. He was far to distracted with the Hollows as he removed his blade from the Hollows' mask; it disintegrated. Once it did so, Tim leaped from the tree where the Hollow once was and landed back close to the trunk of the tree. It was now time to regroup with Anna and head back to their classmates. Hopefully, they could seek safety in numbers. Though he would not get that chance just yet.
Another Hollow broke through the thicket of leaves overhead and darted for Tim. His blade still out, he attempted to defend from the vicious claws of the spirit, but his blade was knocked away. Quickly he lifted both his hands, wrists to neck and elbows to ribs, just as he had always done. His feet skidded across the loose dirt just as he leaped back into the air and roundhouse kicked the Hollow hard in its mask. Before he landed on the ground once more, skidding in place from the momentum. The first thing to cross his mind was getting his Asauchi back. As he searched for it, the Hollow came at him one more time.
This time Tim would wait for the Hollow to engage him, instead of leaping at it and weakening his guard. The Hollow came down over Tim and wrapped it's vile claws across his arms as Tim attempted to hold it back with his bare hands. Really a futile effort, but that would not stop him from trying. The evil spirits claws singed his skin and burned him hotter than he could of ever imagined. It was as if he laid his arms across a hot skillet and just waited. He cried out in pain, but attempted to overcome it. Mustering all the strength that he possessed, he managed to push forward against the Hollow; forcing it to release him.
