Name: Hikari Naito
Age: 26
Gender: female
Race: German/Japanese
Birthplace: Osaka, Japan
Occupation: Unemployed
Height: 5 feet 10 inches
Weight: 135 lbs.
Appearance: Hikari has light green eyes that seem to compliment her olive complexion. She has high cheek bones and a rounded chin, facial features that a slightly attractive woman should have. Although, she hides it with a constant smirk and a scar that goes from her temple, all the way to her mid-left cheek. Sitting atop her head lies sleek raven hair that hangs to the bottom of her shoulder blades. Although, it is usually tied up into a ponytail.
Hikari has no care about vanity, nor does she like to dress flamboyantly like her gender seems to do. She wears simple jeans and a black t-shirt, with black boots that seem to be sizes too big for her, although, they fit perfectly. To complete her outfit, she wears a crimson scarf around her neck, which has a major significant meaning. If someone touches the scarf, that someone might want to prepare to die.
Personality: Hikari is laid back, and has that 'i don't really care' impression to her. It'll take more than just a few yo mama jokes to make her upset and lash out, she'll just return the insults until her opponent get angry enough to make the first move. As you can see, her attitude seems to intimidate and annoy many people. In a more lighthearted side, although she's a master intimidater, if she sees a fellow quincy, she won't hesitate to help her comrade in need.
Special Characteristics: Exceptionally skilled with close combat and knives.
Stats:
Spirit Power: 20 Speed: 10 Technique: 10 Fighting Skill: 20
Quincy Cross and Bow: Hikari's Quincy bow is concealed in a deep purple beaded bracelet with a greek cross charm dangling from her left wrist. Her bow is an entirely different color than the bracelet she wears. It's aqua colored adorned with simplistic greek crosses.
History:Born into a family full of quincys, Hikari had no problem finding someone to train with. One she particularly chose to train with was her elder cousin, Ryu. They trained with each other, and were pretty much inseperable. They even sharpened each other's combat abilities together. With the same mannerisms and physical features, most would have mistaken them as twins. Although, their fashion taste were polar opposites. For a male, he was awfully flamboyant, wearing bright clothes, always topping off his ensemble with a crimson scarf that seemed to go with every outfit of his. Little did Hikari know, their time together was about to be cut short.
One night, the shinigami arrived. Hikari's family had become a little too big and too public for the Shinigami's liking, so they decided to narrow her family members down a little. In a panic, she went to defend her cousin, but got there too late, and only saw a shinigami standing over Ryu's beloved body with a wicked grin on his face. She drew her knives, trying to fight him, but gained nothing but bruises and a slash that, in the future, would be an ugly scar across her left cheek.
When the massacre was over, only a handful of Hikari's family remained. Making sure the remainder of family was okay, she set off to travel, taking very little money and Ryu's signature scarf, vowing revenge.
Role Playing Sample:
Hikari sat at the end of a dock, lost in thought, her feet wading carelessly in the sparkling clear lake. She had grown tired of travel, being a vagabond, never really finding a place to stay. She would stay a few days here and there, or doing odd jobs to make just enough money to have ends meet. A few weeks stay were a max. She had been on the road for a few years and it was always the same. Stability, something she would never find, was what she wished for. Hikari got up, gingerly put her boots back on, and picked up her bag. It was time to hit the road once again. It was a few hours before nightfall and she had a lot of ground to cover before then. Sunset had fallen before she reached a small japanese syle inn. It was beautiful, with sakura trees on either side of the path, and elegant vines winding on the door frame.
