| To figure out which kido you have access to, first you must find your rank. The Kido-to-Rank list is located in the spoiler below... - Spoiler:
1st Tier Kido 30 or Lower
5 Tech and Sp to Learn
2nd Tier Kido 31-50
20 Tech and 20 Sp to learn
3rd Tier Kido 50-70
30 Tech 30 Sp to learn
4th Tier Kido 71-90
40 Tech and 40 Sp to learn
5th Tier *Forbidden*
50 Tech and 50 SP to learn.
Rank 0 = Kidos 1-10 *
Rank 1 = Kidos 11-20
Rank 2 = Kidos 21-30
Rank 3 = Kidos 31-40
Rank 4 = Kidos 41-50
Rank 5 = Kidos 51-60
Rank 6 = Kidos 61-70
Rank 7 = Kidos 71-80

The word count for each kido is figured out with the formula below... Word Count = (Level of kido x 10) + 100 - Spoiler:
Example: Bakudo #20 is 300 words to learn, Hado #39 is 490 words to learn.
Discounts - There are currently two methods of reducing the cost of learning a kido. Tech Level: Increasing your tech level will grant you an increased discount. The Formula is: Discount = (Tech level x 5) - Spoiler:
Example: Bakudo #20 is 300 words to learn, A tech level of 10 would grant you a 50 word discount leaving you with 250 words.
Mentor: Having a PC member train you to learn a kido in which they have already learned will grant you a 10% discount. However they are required to follow the same word count for their training post. - Spoiler:
Example: Bakudo #20 is 300 words to learn. With a 10% discount this is only 270 words. A tech level of 10 would further grant you a 50 word discount leaving you with 220 words. However the Mentor must meet a word count equal to the original cost less his/her own tech level discount. The mentor discount does not apply to the mentor.
Assuming the mentor had a 20 tech level (a discount of 100 words) he would have to post 200 words to teach a student bakudo #20 as well as the student having to post his own 220 words.
