(Orange=Auryuu)
(Yellow=Nenshou)
A violent shredding wind was the first thing he heard as Auryuu opened his eyes to see his Zanpaktou's world. He remembered holding his blade in his hand as he sat at his desk studying dilligently in the arts of kidou, finding his recent talent for bakudo he decided to invest more time into his efforts. It took him only seconds to realize that he had obviously traveled to this world accidentally, most lilkely because of him ignoring the calls from his zanpaktou for so long.
Nenshou was not pleased as he growled off in the distance. The veil of the blizzard surronded everything in site, as soon it evaporated revealing a bright pillar of light as well as the lion and man standing aside to one another. The lion leaped forward with recklessness as he landed close to Auryuu's feet. Auryuu almost took a step back but decided to stand his ground as he raised his eyes from the lion to the man looking him straight in the eyes to see his predator like glare. A king in his own domain, even though he had no subjects except Auryuu, but he was no doubt his owner as Auryuu had made it evident that he would not back down on things that belittled his moral codes or values. Auryuu lived his life free of commands and choose to keep it to that as close as possible. His stubborness was seemingly reflected in his own zanpaktou.
"What is the meaning of this?"
Auryuu's voice finally came from his mouth which parted gradually to utter his statement as he gave them definition with a somewhat stern tone. He couldn't be commanded by his zanpaktou. The lion simply did not answer which prompted Auryuu to draw his sword. Almost at the same time the lion reacted, soon drawing his own sword already in the form of shikai. Auryuu met it with his own shikai as it now turned out to be an eventual clash of close range fighting. Although Auryuu had kido, but on the other hand the zanpaktou obviously had to possess a great understanding of his own weapon and combative abilities.
Their muscles tensed as they shot a glare at each other. A clang of blades echoed in the large space like a kind of auditorium. Auryuu edged his blade further to Nenshou as they both put furious strength on the hilts, creating bright sparks from the meeting of the opposite forces.
"Not good enough"
Nenshou put his hand on the blade as he pushed it further brushing Auryuu's blade off of his own forcing his hands o the side as a large scratch now presented itself on Auryuu's chest. It stung for awhile as he tried to ignore it. The blade Nenshou possessed left a kind of burn on his body which felt worse as he had come to realize that it was the worst aspect of the wound. Auryuu took a leap back soon touching earth once more as he brought his unused left hand to his chest. Only a second he touched it gently as the blood stained his hand. This only further pushed him to the precipice of his ferocity. He would show the lion what he was made of.
Auryuu leaped forward in as Nenshou met him as he was still in air their blades connecting as Auryuu was forced to the ground from the overwhelming strength of his own zanpaktou. Their blades seprated finally as Auryuu planted his legs back on the ground. There was little rest as Nenshou continued his onslaught tossing a barrage of knife thrusts at Auryuu as he sloppily dusted them off. He noticed the speed increase as he noticed minor cuts mark his body as a sign of Auryuu's own slowness even with such a light blade. It did no good against a blade of the same caliber held by an experienced swordsman.
Auryuu was losing ground. He had to think, fast. With a jolting springing motion he lay he kick on Nenshou's arm, barely affecting him as Nenshou landed a fex extra cuts on Auryuu's body then took a few steps back still using the same burning look he had given before to torture Auryuu. They were eyes of hatred. Eyes of passion. Eyes of misunderstanding. For those eyes did not understand it's holder. Which was why they contrasted so much when it came to fighting. Auryuu who fought much more than he used to now, could not feed the lions amassed hunger for battle and bloodshed. Absolutely vicious and intimidating to his own shinigami, who was supposed to make the zanpaktou somewhat submissive to obtain bankai.
