Rain hit the surface of the sidewalk like bullets as it splished and sploshed everywhere, preserving the wet ground and the moist air that came along with the weather. He looked back to the look of a almost never ending forest. His clothes were damp previously and became wet again from the rain that approached a few hours back.
He looked to his arms as he eyed the scars left from the hollow he had just fought. All he thought about was her hair. Her eyes. Even the sound of her voice. For that was more significant than even a white light at the end of a pitch black tunnel. That's what pushed him through the forest into this area he was located in now.
He stood on faded yellow lines. Nobody in sight. A vacant horizon that had been supported by Auryuu's ability to not sense anything spiritual nor see anything not. He felt gloomy as he flipped his phone out from the inside of hiss shinigami garbs. It was cracked all over and soaked. Contact with Soul Society would be impossible. Anger flashed over him taking control as he tossed the phone with a violent thud onto the ground. He eventually regained control as he continued to walk at a steady pace.
He knew it was still Japan, but was unfamiliar with the area. "Damn", Auryuu said as he kept moving with a little bit of a limp. The only thing he saw was a factory up ahead connected to the wide lot. It was shady looking and abandoned at that. But he needed the rest. Just somewhere to lay for a second. Maybe he could even gather his thoughts and avoid the rain from the inside.
Maybe he could get back soon to soul society. Maybe, but things always played out unpredictably. The variable called fate was responsible for that phenomenon.
