Auryuu had studied very hard every night. He traveling to the shinigami library a lot for his studies, grabbing as many books he could carry on one trip. One thing about his squad, was a member had to hold high respect, and have a high wealth of knowledge, which he had made sure he had, by studying everynight, sometimes till the sun came up. When the sun did come up, sometimes he'd have to report into his squad, his squad relied on low level members too much. Even though a lot of his assignments were errands, there seemed to be too many, for the average man. Auryuu had enjoyed some errands, only because of the limitless use to the senkai gate, and the multiple trips to the human world.
Auryuu had recently grabbed a strange book, the amount of dust on it was insane, it had to be maybe 200 years to 300 years old. It piqued his interest, it was hidden by many other books, in a pretty much unvisited section of the library. He took the book almost on site, as he began to rush home, and in minutes he had made it home, faster than he ever would without his newly gained shunpo skills, even if they were a little limited, much more than more experienced shinigami.
Auryuu sat at his desk, soon after closing the door. He opened the book that stood by many more other famous techs, written by many scientists, kido specialists, and former captains of soul society. Every one held special sentimental value to him, even if he kind of did hate reading. He compiled many keypoints of his readings, on a small board hung up by his desk. Theorys about hollows powers, theorys about shinigami history, theorys about spirit power, things like that were written in the board. Papers attached by push pins, just kept them all suspended up there, even if they were messily arranged, anyone but Auryuu, would make the stack of papers fall.
Auryuu opened the book blowing the expanse of dust off the cover, and then blowing it off the first place, spreading the particles of dust among his desk unevenly. The worlds were faded on the cover, no author or any other specifics, that could help track the origins of the book. Auryuu read through the first few pages. The pages he browsed held things about the topic of spiritual power, how it works, how it differs in some shinigami. It basically told him that each shinigami's reiatsu was different, and very few had shared same-type reiatsu.
Auryuu read further into the confines of the book discovering more and more interesting information. Now reading what affects reiatsu colors, theorys such as personality, birth, heredity, things like that were listed and explained logically by many experts that were cited with their initials. Each expert was completely unknown to Auryuu, maybe he had read texts by some of them, but he failed to realise any connections.
Auryuu at the end of the book saw something not faded written in black a footnote added by someone. It had been 6 hours since he started reading the book, he was tired, but still continued reading the letters one after one, his brain somehow miraculously managing to read everything and put it together. The technique was unfinished it seemed, it held a incantation, but was faded by the end. The incantation read, "Through a world with no color, but white....", and then it ended their nothing could be read. Auryuu was disapointed as he read across the incantation for the spell, it also had no name.
Auryuu decided to travel to the range at night, even though it was really late, he was really curious about this strange finding. Auryuu opened his door slowly, silently pushing it closed, as he continued out into the cold night. The chilly air all, but cooled him, as he ignored it, shunpo-ing off to the range, from the rukongai area.
Eventually Auryuu reached the familiar academy. It almost looked different at night, ominous, dark, and creepy. He jumped over the small opening entering the grounds, of the range. He held the book tight in his hands, along with some notes he had written down. Auryuu spoke the incantation that was written, "Through a world with no color, but white...". Of course nothing happened, he knew nothing would. He realized the kido was not finished, so he had planned something of his own.
Auryuu held a pen along with his notes, filling in the blank with his own words hoping it would work. He wrote down "Through a world with no color, but white, bring darkness". He thought it was the tone of the kido, and that's were it was headed, so he began to speak again, "Through a world with no color, but white, bring darkness", something did infact happen, but a small dark ball at the palm of his hand disapered after appearing for only what seemed like a second. He thought and thought more, thinking maybe it was left to be completed by the users words, quickly piecing together how he thought his version should sound. He wrote, what he thought of, suprisingly, he thought of Kaiyo, how her hair was, blonde like the sun. It brought piece to him as he sat and thought about what he should put down in the missing incantation.
He sat as the dark began to get lighter, slowly, the sun was rising, but slowly. Then it hit him, the idea for the kido, He wrote something down speedily, as he rushed through the words, and started to speak. "Through a world filled with hate, kindness". A light rose from his hand, accending from his palm, giving him a strange warm feeling as the orange ball rose till the bottom of it sat on his palm. He stared at it, as his eyes adjusted to the light, Auryuu attempted something as he felt the great amount of energy inside the ball, it was a attachment of him, of his energy. "White lightning", he said as in a soft voice, as his right hand which held the ball, mixed with the lightning turning it into a blazing orange light, that aimed for a nearby target. Auryuu watched as the target was burned through, and as it charred the wall behind it, Auryuu began to shunpo away, quickly recording his findings.
Auryuu arrived home, and made another note for his board sticking it above his desk listing what he had discovered. He decided to hide the book in a locked drawer that was in his desk. Auryuu began to talk to himself, dozing in and out of reality, as he wrote it down, "I think I'll call it Passionate blaze", he said as he wrote down the last word and hopped into his convientantly located bed, that lay next to his desk.
