Yokia is a lithe young woman in the prime of her youth. Her pale skin compliments her vibrantly pink hair that falls down her back. In most situations she puts it into a ponytail to avoid snags. Her eyes are a dull crimson that pierce those she locks her gaze upon. She is of normal height, but has an aura the can intimidate those around her. In another life she might have been super model, but the dainty appearance hides the trained body beneath.

History/Background:

Born in the outskirts of eastern Okinawa, Yokia seemed to be doomed to an ordinary life. Except for one problem. First of all, she wasn't born in any hospital, her parents decided a home birth was healthier, as they were a little strange at the time.

So, born unbreathing and on the brink of death, the worried parents, Shia and Chouko, rushed their dying child to the hospital. Her brothers, Garren, six years old, and Keita, three years old, were mostly ignored for the entire time, despite the fact that they spent the majority of their time getting into fights in the hospital and causing general disturbances. Meanwhile, Yokia was engaged in a battle for life; this was very easily the most difficult battle she would ever face and it was with her own delayed learning. It took several hours after being born for Yokia to take her first breath. Because of the fact that she almost died.

Years after this incident, when Yokia was three years old, her parents had yet another child. While some might see this as a strange pattern, having children every three years, it was the last one. During this time, her parents actually left to a hospital, leaving their children at home with an elderly neighbor. Were Yokia 's parents responsible? Probably not. During this time period, Garren began to speak to Yokia about hollows and souls, asking if she had ever seen them.



When her parents finally returned, later that night, Yokia had not slept. She had stayed up, pestering her brothers and recieving no answers as to what they were seeing. The two had acted as though they had found the greatest toy in the world and were keeping it just out of the three-year-old's grasp. She had immediately asked her father what a Quincy was, upon his return, seemingly ignoring her baby brother, Hiko, and he told her to go to sleep. Of course, Makana found out several months later.

Life in the Yokia household was hectic, as there were three boys and one tomboy, nothing was ever in order. Even if one was an infant, it only made things worse. Keita and Garren often got into fights with eachother, pulling punches and wrestling. While, when teasing Yokia , they got along like life-long friends, they usually spent their time bickering and fighting.

At the age of 9 Yokia own spiritual power final awoke on its own while her brothers were been send of what her father had always call privat schools or that was what Yokai was told. But in reality they were send of to train with other parts of there family as they where whole family of Qunicys building up there legacy after there people had been slaughter 400 years ago by the shinigami´s

when ever the parents had to go away, Yokia and her younger brother was send of to be taken care of by a old friend of the familiy who also happen to run a dojo, it was a old man that run the dojo and even thought he allready had his own familiy, he was like a grandfather to them aswell, until when they grow older he died

as Yokia growed bigger and older as well did her power, and aswell as her brothers she was send off to train her qunicy powers and mature for the course, every little essence of her beeing was layed into the qunicy arts and well she took it as it came letting her children life be ruinde by studying and praticting before she was send of to the city call Karakura Town where she would find her next test
