So.... How is everyone...?

I'm a man of little words, but when it comes to rp'ing, and writing, I have tons to say. I also have a very... ideological mind, I can come up with some crazy, but good, plans and ideas. Such as the shinigami I'm wanting to make... but then... I don't know if I really want a shinigami... I'm so stuck at what to do... x,x

Greetings to you, Dok. I do well to some extent, but slowly battling sickness and general tiredness. Not much else to say otherwise. Having ideas is great, but there's not need to rush yourself into making your character. Feel free to drop into chat and ask around, or just send PM to Mod/Admins for advice. Take your time and figure out what you want then try to bring it about if possible.

I'm used to alot of rp'ing, actually found this site, looking for a purely bleach rp, as the site i was on was kinda chaotic with rp's for every genre and theme...

And I'll keep the ideas to meself for now, as they arent much more than new races/factions/random ideas, that I doubt will ever pass :p

And as for the chatacters, I kinda wanted to go on the idea that when a hollow is killed by a shinigami's zanpakuto, it's purified and sent to Soul society... And that's where the problem comes in... I rather dislike Canon based characters, so I dunno what to do, how to build my character.

And other than that, I was considering asking for a specialized oc... I'd start out as them being a quincy, most likely, but I also want them to become a fullbringer as well, through training. And I doubt that idea is even going to hit the table.

Too bad about the chat thing, but I'm surprised using a phone for the site. I think another member called Shinjo did the same, but to the opposite effect. He could go to chat, but couldn't post. OR he just said he couldn't post. Meh

Going to have to say no to the idea of having Quincy and Fullbring combination. An interesting idea I'll admit. As Shinigami's and Hollow's boundary fuzzy due to Visored, one would wonder if it's possible for the other classes/races. In regards to the whole Visored issue it's a high level state, not something someone stumbles upon nor trains for. Not sure how one would transcend the barriers between the other classes without some outside source/stimuli/force.

Well, meant training as a general term... I figured, he'd eventually use the final form and lose quincy powers, and the stress would drive his fullbring to activate. Whether he gets quincy powers back is up to you mods, i guess.

And the base idea... A quincy is still a human, alibi one with supreme spiritual control. A fullbring is pretty much the same, save it originates from a different source. Quincies utilize external force, fullbringers internal.
Thus, by that train of thought, a dedicated enough fullbringer could learn quincy techniques, and use them in tandem with his own fullbring. And vice versa, with a quincy unlocking the fullbring within.

The way I see it, should I be allowed to pursue this idea, a quincy and fullbringer are not so different.

Put the two together, several things might occur... A fullbringer who learns a quincy techniques would have to fit the techniques around his fullbring, using them to make himself better.

A quincy who attains fullbring is different, somewhat. A fullbring is the manifestation of the spirit, the hopes, dreams and thoughts of the user and the world he interacts with, usually manifesting in the object closest to the users soul, like ginjo's crucifix or inoue's hairpins. A quincy's whole life exists to perpetuate the ideal of "Quincy's Pride", a regimen of rules and honor that describe the Quincy in question. Years of training, blood, sweat, and emotion boil down into that single ideal.
Thus, one could say, it has a manifested symbol as well, an object all quincy possess from the time they begin their training, to the day they die... The Quincy Cross. A Quincy who unlocks a fullbring would undoubtedly form it from his cross, using the fullbring, unsealed, form of the cross to create an immensely powerful bow, possibly even more powerful than Ishida's "Sparrow".

Holy triple post, Batman. The idea of having both powers at once is what I was rejecting. As I stated before; an interesting idea. A Quincy loses his powers and to develop a Fullbring (superhuman ability/power) in it's place; isn't too far fetched as the more recent storyline shows. In that sense such a development might be possible. And by your own argument such character most likely would develop powers quite similar to those he lost; a bow like weapon. Said weapon could function much like there former Quincy powers, but there would be differences. Again as you mentioned Quincy use external energy to power their attacks. As for Fullbring they have a more finite internal energy. That being said the fact; rather than a hail of arrows you might be looking at a slower, but more destructive shot. Or something like that, just saying.
