Very Odd Indeed (Ren and DM)

(OOC: Here it is, Tenshi I will let you take us into the city but here is the opener sorry it is weak)
The sun was just starting to rise as Felix made his way towards the town that lay ahead of him and his companion Ren, the little feline hollow whom he had taken to traveling with and whom he had sworn to protect with his life. He no longer carried his blade as it made Ren uncomfortable so he allowed her to carry it so that she would know it wouldn’t be used against her. To think that a reaper has taken up with a hollow, a week ago I would of called that impossible but now, now I don’t know what to think.

Turning to look at her as he kept pace moving forward he asked politely “So Ren how are you holding up?” he asked though the question seemed innocent enough he meant her hunger for even though she was sweet and kind hollows still had to feed on other souls to keep themselves strong enough to survive. “From what I remember of my days at the academy this is Kurakara, a town that is rich in earthbound spirits alike.” It also means that I have to watch out for reapers, one or two I might be able to take but any fights here will more than likely draw attention from those you don’t want.

Felix stopped and looked at Ren for a second, “I know I don’t have to say this, but please don’t go after the living or the spirits of children; I still have a duty to protect those who can’t protect themselves and well I never want to have to choose between you and my duty I don’t think I could make that decision that didn’t end with me taking my own life in the end.

The sun was rising in the sky making is a pink-lavender color Ren was heading twoard Karakura town with her new friend Felix. When Felix stopped and asked her if she was alright she caught up to him and she said, " I'll be fine once we get in to town." Karakura town was the town where she lived when she was alive, I need to go vist him. she thought with a sad smile. Turning to Felix her eyes looking alittle sad but also happy, "I want you to meet someone Felix. Is that ok?" Ren never felt like this befor she was so happy and sad she just wanted to sing. With that she laughed and started to run to the town and began to sing.

With a sigh Ren felt better, it was as if all her trubles had disapeared. "That was a song I used to hear when I was alive." she told Flix.

Tatsuya was usually up before dawn. He couldn't sleep long, always thinking another retrieval unit was close by. He had just finished healing from the injuries he received from Raiden, and decided to start the day off early rather than hang around in the abandoned house. Tatsuya decided to head on over to the park. Though quiet at this time, it did provide good scenery and a good view of the sunrise. Tatsuya took a seat on a bench in the middle of the park and waited for the sun to rise. The pinkish hue it was giving off was beautiful. He felt the reiatsu of a hollow, but it felt as if it was being followed by a shinigami. Not too mention the hollow felt vaguely familiar. Tatsuya didn't trouble himself over the familiarity of the hollow, he just stayed where he was and enjoyed the view.

Felix went rigid when Ren mentioned someone else, but quickly hid his feelings behind a rather stoic mask. So it has been a trap, and I fell for it. This little hollow probably does this to survive she attracts reapers to her then leads them to a den of other hollows to feed. Felix’s paranoia was going wild as he thought up any number of possibilities. “Um who or what are we meeting Ren?” he asked a little wary of the answer. Suddenly he stopped as his senses flared to life, “Ren we need to be careful, real careful there is a reaper nearby.”

Felix spoke as he took a step back out of reflex as fight or flight started to take over, but still he fought the impulse and stayed by Ren’s side. “Ren if things go bad, run and run fast okay?” Felix stopped for a moment struck with a very strong feeling of déjà vu. I have said those words before to someone else…was it to her? Was it to that girl…Gah…what does she mean to me?

Ren turned to Felix Looking hurt, "That's not a nice thing to say Felix. Just follow me you won't get hurt." She felt a SP of a Shinigami and it was familiar. With a small chukle she stated, "Don't worry Felix the Shinigami will not harm us he is kind of like you. Isn't that right?!" she called out to a tree near them. If anything happened She will put her life on the line for Felix. But she decided to leave the two so they could get aquanted. "I"ll go looking for hollows you guys try not to kiil each other please." with that she took off.

Tatsuya heard Ren's voice getting closer to his position. "She brought company." Tatsuya could feel the presence of another, a shinigami. He still had trouble placing complete trust in the hollow. There was no telling if or when she might turn and attack him, but seeing as she befriended another shinigami, he felt a little at ease. "Kind of." Tatsuya answered as he turned to see her and the tall shinigami she was with. Tatsuya was about to say something when he noticed Ren carrying a zanpakuto. Tatsuya's eyes quickly focused on the shinigami who did not possess a zanpakuto. "I'm sure that can be arranged." He spoke to Ren while keeping his eyes on the shinigami. "A hollow and a shinigami traveling together. It's safe to assume you are not with a squad, or for that matter even with the Gotei 13." Tatsuya started after Ren left.

Felix was suddenly on the defensive when he heard the voice from behind the tree, as he took a step back his hand reflexively went for his blade on his back but remembered it was on Ren’s back. Then something miraculous happened instead of running as he had done so often in the past faced with a reaper; Felix took a step in front of Ren.

“I may or may not be aligned with the Soul Society but the only question here is where you alignment lies.” Something was triggering Felix’s protective nature as Ren had not known this reaper’s status and for all he knew this reaper was about to try and kill her. His body tightened a movement so slight that most wouldn’t have notice it as he prepared for what might come. I am not quite as defenseless as Ren thinks…but I had hoped she wouldn’t have to see this.

Ren stopped as soon as she had moved, she really wanted to introduce Him to her new friends. It had been a while since she last visited him she would have to get some fresh flowers as well. Turnig around she aske the two Shinigami, "Actually can you guys join me please? I really want you two to meet him. I promise it is not a trap." she pleaded. She would not move untill she had an awnser.

Tatsuya crossed his arms in front of him as the shinigami spoke. "Heh, my allegiance is that of my own business." Tatsuya quickly flashed stepped to Felix's right side. "You should relax. If I were to attack I'm not sure you'd be able defend being tensed up and all." He mentioned without concern as he turned his head and grinned at Felix. His eyes turned to Ren, who had turned to them. His right eye cocked up when she asked them to meet someone else. "You really get around, don't you?" Tatsuya asked rhetorically as he motioned for Felix to take the lead. "After you."

Felix flinched as the reaper suddenly closed the gap between them in a flash, but quickly gained the control once more, wow this reaper is fast…guess I got to keep a close eye on him. Not that I could stop him if I wanted to…he just proved that with his little display of speed, it would be like a cat playing with a mouse before the final act of the performance. The reaper was speaking to him a smug look on his face as he gestured for Apollo to go ahead of him.

“At least you know your place you old men should move aside for the young.” Felix commented offhand as he joined Ren, though the reaper appeared older for all Felix knew he was older as you could never judge a soul’s age based on looks.

“Ren do you know this reaper and if it isn’t him you want me to meet then where exactly are you taking me?” Felix asked a little cautious as his paranoia was in full swing sensing a trap that may lay ahead. “No matter where we are going lead and I shall follow my dear friend.” Felix said as he swallowed his suspicions with a smile at Ren.

Ren laughed softly, "Let's play a game first, If one of you two can catch me before we get to where we need to go I'll tell you. Catch me if you can!" She wanted them to guess and she was having fun and so she started to run. Ren hopped along the roof tops looking behind her to see if the two Shinigami where getting close. Ren spotted a Sakura tree and jumped down to it, she found a small branch and picked it off the tree. She looked behind her to see if the Shinigami were there.

Tatsuya head cocked back and his eyes widened in a bit of surprise at Felix's comment. "Hmm, I'm an old man?! Hmph, I thought only the nobles of Seireitei were that brash." Tatsuya quickly stated to counter Felix's comment. Tatsuya watched as Ren took the lead in her little game, him not really in the mood for any games right now. "I tell you what." He looked over at Felix. "Let me catch her. I don't know about you, but I'm not in the mood for guessing games." Tatsuya suggested but didn't wait for any type of answer as he quickly flash stepped away. He floated high up in the air keeping an eye on Ren waiting for her to stop. Once she stopped underneath the cherry blossom tree he flash stepped behind her and grabbed her tail. "Hmm. Guess I win." Tatsuya chuckled conceitedly. "How about you tell us who we are going to meet?" Tatsuya was curious about the other person Ren had met.

Felix was quite stunned by the old man’s display of speed as he blurred off after the feline Ren, For an old man he sure is quick when it comes to chasing tail. he smirked as he ran to the ledge and stepped on the edge with fluid cat like grace, just in time to see Tatsuya grab Ren out of the sakura tree.

“Are you two going to flirt all day or are we going to get to learn where Ren is leading us to?” Felix was laughing as he chided both of them and then hopped wall to wall working his way safely to the ground then walked up to the two of them his hands crossed behind his head in a nonchalant way.

“Leave her be old man, as a wise human once said ‘My favorite thing to do is go where I have never gone.’ So Ren please lead the way.” He motioned her forward, “We shall both follow politely.” Felix shot Tatsuya a look that said “play along.”

Ren felt somthing grab her tail when she turned around she saw Tastuya's hand on her tail. You could see her vain pop on her head, she took her paw and hit Tastuya on the head, "Have you no shame?! We are already here." she pointed out. She was at the gates of a temple, her famalies temple.

The was a sudden chill in the air it was almost sad, "Follow me please." she said as she lead them to the grave site. As she walked passed the graves she saw several spirits still there she paid no attention to them, at the far end she saw the grave she was looking for. As she stood in front of the grave with sad eyes she placed the Cherry Blossoms at the base, "Tastuya, Felix this is who I wanted you two to meet. Guys this is my Father. Dad I brought some friends, this is Tastuya and Felix." she explained.

"Eh?!" Tatsuya looked surprised and confused by Ren's new expression, and then his head snapped back as Ren struck him in the face. Tatsuya's hand quickly let go of Ren's tail and grabbed his nose which started to bleed a bit. "You know, I think that was just a bit uncalled for." Tatsuya said with a muffled voice and then looked up to the temple entrance. Tatsuya walked silently as Felix and himself were led through the temple. Tatsuya was a bit shocked when Ren arrived at her father's grave and gave Felix a concerned look.

Felix only followed in silence feeling very uncomfortable in the temple, though he was dead himself graveyards and cemeteries made him jumpy. Ren hangs out in temple with dead bodies all around, very peculiar as dead doesn’t fit her personality. Felix was snapped back to reality when Ren stopped in front of a cherry blossom tree with a small gravestone in front of it. “So this is…your dad? “ He walked forward ignoring tasuya’s whining as he placed a hand on the tree. With a stoic face he closed his eyes his as he prayed silently and respectfully to the spirit whose grave, the tree marked. You did a good job with your daughter, her spirit is now no longer bound to the mortal plane but her will is strong enough to resist the beast she has become. Know that she is surrounded by friends and safe.

Turning to Tasuya he frowned comically, “Oh suck it up old man and show some respect we are in a temple; besides you should know better than to grab a cat’s tail…or a lady’s butt…however you want to look at it. Personally I still stand by the fact that I should leave you all alone for some quality time.” He grins as he starts walking back towards the gate for two reasons. To get out of the graveyard and to put a point on his joke; once he got to the threshold he instantly felt better as he watched his comrades at the cherry blossom.

Ren looked at the Gravestone, " Yes. This is my Dad. He died when I was Three years old. But I can still remember him somehow." she said tears falling. She missed him so much. Now she had alot of new friends. When she was alive she was considered an outcast. No one wanted to be around her now here she was standing beside the Shinigami the enemy of the Hollow.
