| Subject: Kidou Training - Hado No. 13 (App) Tue Jun 21, 2011 4:14 pm | |
| Shioshi stood there, in the middle of the Kidou Training Grounds, breathing hard and exhausted. He'd been training for a week, and still he had not mastered the new technique, the new Kidou. Hado No. 13, Killer Bee. That's what it was. He tried over and over again, yet, he just couldn't get it down. He could manage maybe one or two shots, but the technique was supposed to unleash a barrage of the little bolts. Muttering under his breath, Shioshi stumbled backwards over to the wall and then collapsed into a sitting position, drenched in sweat. He'd used up a large amount of his Reiatsu, so he already would need to rest for a bit after getting back to his temporary home. However, he wasn't exactly planning on returning until he'd mastered the Kidou. After resting for a few moments, Shioshi stood back up and moved back to the center of the area. "Hado No. 1, Thrust!" he barked, using the most basic of Hado to warm himself up. The invisible blast of Reiatsu struck the training dummy full on in the stomach, denting the wood quite strongly. Nodding to himself, he stood, feet spread apart, and held his hands out before him, ready to begin the incantation for Killer Bee. "An Array of Bees Sting You with the Force of Many! Hado No. 13, Killer Bee!" he cried. Immediately, four of the mini-bolts formed in front of his hands and shot at the dummy, putting mini holes in the spots where they hit while one of them struck the ground at the training dummy's feet. With a gasp, Shioshi stumbled backwards and fell to the ground, on his back, panting, needing to catch his breath first and foremost. But he'd been closer than ever before! He'd formed four of the bolts this time! His goal, though, was to reach ten. It was with a renewed vigor that Shioshi stood back up and prepared to, hopefully, go through only one more try. "Come on, you bastard Hado! Get it right!" he growled, and then he began the incantation. "An Array of Bees Sting You with the Force of Many! Hado No. 13, Killer Bee!" he roared. He focused on his hands, the air in front of them, imagining the ten bolts forming there, and then focused his Reiatsu into making his imagination real. He felt his energy draining, which meant that the Reiatsu in his body was, indeed, forming the bolts. He let out a pained cry as his muscles began to burn from the exhaustion of his training, but he still refused to give up. He saw one bolt form, followed quickly by three others. That was four again. Another two began to form, and then completed themselves. That was six, now! A seventh formed, and then an eighth quickly afterwards! With a cry, he drew on his 'inner calm', and focused on the Kidou as hard as he focused when in solo practice with his Zanpakutou. And the last two bolts formed. Immediately, Shioshi cut off his concentration and cried out in victory as the bolts shot forward, all ten striking the training dummy somewhere and doing their respective damage. He would have leapt and danced in victory, but he was too drained, physically, mentally, and Reiatsu-related as well, and so he immediately collapsed to the ground, not unconscious, simply resting for a moment. Then, after regaining enough strength to stand again, he stood to his feet and grinned, nodding at his handiwork. He decided then and there that it was time to call it a day, since he'd successfully managed to learn the Hado. With a huge grin plastered on his face, he spun and walked out of the Kidou Training Grounds. He was ready for some well-deserved rest! ------------------------
