| Shioshi grinned as he stared out across Karakura Town on the roof of a building. His first time in the Real World, and it was to Karakura Town, the most famous place there for the Shinigami! He truly hadn't expected to come here anytime soon, let alone for his first mission in the Real World, and yet, here he was, on patrol for a few days while the Shinigami usually assigned to the town recovered from a rather nasty fight with several powerful Hollow. His Zanpakutou was drawn, for he was focusing on something in the distance; a Hollow. With a grin, he leapt from the rooftop and over to the building next to it. He repeated this action, heading quickly in the direction of the Hollow. This would be his first real fight, his first fight against a Hollow at all, and he planned to make it a victory.
He came in on it hard and fast, leading with Hado No. 1, and then quickly following up with a slash that caught the surprised and off-balance Hollow in the arm, cleanly removing it. The beast roared in pain and wheeled on Shioshi, bringing around a massive fist that was twice the size of its head in an attempt to crush the Shinigami. He rolled under the fist, though, causing it to shatter the ground where he'd been standing only a moment before. As he came to his feet, he brought his arm up into the air, and then snapped it to the right, bringing his Zanpakutou around in a right-to-left slash that cut deeply into the weak Hollow's stomach, which roared in protest. However, Shioshi wasn't done, and as the beast attempted to stomp on him, he used Hado No. 1 once again, causing the Hollow to collapse because of over-balancing.
With a grin, he accepted a clipping punch in the side that caused him to spin, twice, before he recovered, and then came forward as quickly as he could with the pain of the wound spreading through his body in the form of an ache in his bones. Nothing had been broken, of course, but he expected to see a bruise form there. He ran forward and jumped on top of the downed Hollow, and, after coming up to stand on its neck, brought his Zanpakutou down in a slash that cut the mask in half, top to bottom. With one final roar, the Hollow dispersed, and Shioshi pumped his arm in victory. Of course, he winced as the pain from that one blow shook him. Realizing he needed a moment to recover, he moved over to a nearby building and leapt to the top, landing hard and collapsing clumsily to the roof. His cheeks flushed, and he was certainly glad there was no one around that could see him as he sat for a moment and rested. | |
