Appearance: Nanmei doesn't have a huge bulk as a low ranking Hollow, in fact she is only as large as a horse pretty much. But more serpent like then four legged hooves. Small wings sprout from her back, large enough for flight but small enough that they don't get in too much of her way for hiding. Little claws, four of them, stick out at parts of her body much like a miniature japanese water dragon. Though this dragon has a pointed Dragon Skull that surrounds her entire head, her eyes glowing from the eye sockets that are her only window to the outside world. Her serpentine body is dark, like a shadow pretty much, and somewhat see through. Though if one were to grab it, they would feel a very real serpent's body that just looks like its not all there.

Personality: If one were to meet her when she was living, or within the first hundred or so years of her after death. One might say she would prefer justice and ruin those that did not seem to give others fairness. A calm elegant lady who could have been married to a Samurai of old to protect her land while her husband was off in battle. But now in her later years almost all of that has been stripped away along with her humanity.

Now she is pretty much coined as an eccentric female, or even possibly called bi polar with the current world. Or even multiple personalities that share the same body, mind, and memories that just show up every now and then. However someone classifies her, one thing is certain. She can be calm and decisive for the most part, just like the calm water that doesn't even contain a ripple in it. Though the calm takes a backseat to any obsessive tendencies she has at the moment.

But when something disturbs that calm, be it an attempt to kill her or trick her even, can get worse. Like a sudden typhoon that hit, as quick and as chaotic as one might get. Who knows what her triggers are, but it seems to deal with her past. If someone is hunting her down, belittles her, tries to cage her up, or even try to treat her lowly just for being what she was are known triggers though.

But while not obsessing over things or having a trigger to make her mean and pissed off. She seems to have a high level of intelligence and knowledge about the world, from so many years and travel. Somewhat of a regal view almost, like a Dragon or Divinity might of the human's legends. Wit and cunning, able to plan well into advance or do complex calculations. That is if she isn't interrupted by shiny things that she has random obsessions over.

History: Nanmei was born as a human on Okinawa Japan, the island that is far to the south from the mainland in near tropic waters. Born in very rural settings to a fishing village really, it was at the time of old age technology really. No electricity, not really any industrial ways either. Just a simple fishing village from those who had come to the island prior.

It was a very simple life, at least for the men sadly enough for Nanmei. Women were treated like property in this age of old, her father sold her to the highest bidder just like all the other females of the island. Her surprisingly dark complexion, from the blood of washed up humans of other areas in the islands past. Along with her dark hair and dark eyes caused her to be part of the small rarity of the island too.

Instead of a decent home life to make a family however, she was showcased in a cage pretty much. Or rented out to customers because of her exotic looks, by her own husband so called by law. Finally Nanmei had enough though, she was twenty two and relatively fit by all the work she had to go through. So when her cage was opened up for one of her food she took her husband and ran him through with a stick. The law of that times however looked poorly on women, so soon she was dealt with shortly after.

After her death however, instead of being sent to the soul society she ran from the shinigami. Somehow she managed to hide herself away from others, and even found that human's could not see her. Some could sense her yes but not really any could actively see her. Many years passed by, as she was on the run from island to island. She called it an Adventure at times, or being hunted down by those beings with swords who were trying to so call take her to a better world. Within the first year, from the fear and injustice she felt quickly turned her into one of the basic hollows though somehow she kept her human form.

Years passed though, and eventually either they figured she was either no threat or she was plain forgotten in due time. Either way she soon realized nothing else stalked her or followed her. With her new found freedom, she went anywhere she felt like as she wandered the world and watched as the human's invented stuff to better life. However watching how most females got the short end of the stick wore more and more. The Injustice chipped away more and more of what some might call what was left of her humanity.

Wherever she went, she would pick on humans she did not like before she would find a new obsession. Never really still staying in the same place, always moving and always trying to stay hidden as she watched the world evolve around her. Some might call her eccentric now, since she always has obsessions that might stay with her for less then a day or for a lifetime of the said human she watches and toys with.

At one point, around her seven hundredth year of being a Hollow however. Some humans had even gone to the point of worshiping her, because she felt the need to help some out of whim. Sure she could not do much except make it rain, but they needed it while in a drought. So around that part of history she was coined the rain maker, with a shrine that has been lost to the annals of time.

Note: Giving up the abilities Nanmei would get at Rank 3 and Rank 6, so she can have the following abilities.

Ability 1: Water Affinity

To be one with water is pretty much the basis of this ability, or rather the manipulation of water as well. From the simplest of making it a light rain to a raging torrent, though that depends on how strong Nanmei is. If it is too sunny, her water powers are reduced in effectiveness especially if it is in summer or in a desert.

Note: Water Affinity Cannot be used at the same time as any Ice Affinity or Healing Abilities. So if any are used, Nanmei has to wait for that ability to stop, then wait till the cool down period of that ability is done. Then it takes an additional 2 posts before Water Affinity can be used.

Rank 0 - A simple beam of water really, what one might call a supped up super soaker. Doesn't really do much damage if any, but does knock back whom it is directed to. Much like a Firefighters hose actually. With every two ranks gained she can use another beam, so rank 3 is 2 beams, rank 7 is 4 beams

Rank 3 - Nanmei can now manipulate real water around her now, to bend its shape into what she wills it. But she cannot make more and add to it, so it has it's limitations in that way. Note: Manipulation of water can be recreational, or even make the water be like a spear or other sort of weapon that can pierce skin.

Rank 6 - Nanmei is now able to create water for her own use but even that has it's limit. For she is only able to create really 5 gallons for every two posts. If she manipulates that water too much for 5 different ways of manipulations she is unable to use it for following manipulation.

Rank 9 - Nanmei is now able to Manipulate water to the point of causing nasty weather now. Be it Hail, Typhoons, or raging thunderstorms. Bad thing is that she can only do it 3 times total in a thread. With a ten post cool down, unable to do it again. Given the very nature of well nature though, they have a very chaotic nature the storms might just attack everyone in battle. (20% chance of going away from Nanmei's Influence)

Ability 2: Healing

This ability actually ties into her abilities of pretty much a Japanese Water Dragon. Nanmei is able to heal herself far sooner then the ability to heal others, so Anything she can do for others she can do for herself a rank sooner.

Note: Healing Cannot be used at the same time as any Water and Ice Affinity Abilities. So if a Water or an Ice Affinity ability is used, Nanmei has to wait for that ability to stop, then wait till the cool down period of that ability is done. Then it takes an additional 1 posts before Healing can be used.

Rank 0 - Simple healing really, for shallow cuts and bruises really but nothing more. Also has a 2 post cool down, so it isn't really effective. She cannot attack while healing.

Rank 3 - Nanmei is now able to mend larger gashes, really any flesh wounds that aren't a fatality on others. But takes a full post to accomplish, unable to battle during that post. With a 2 post cool down as well, also cannot attack while healing.

Rank 6 - Nanmei is now able to mend bones, as well as some Fatal wounds. Ones that take possibly a few days before it finally kills someone really. She cannot heal those types of wounds and attack though(so no attacking). This healing takes 3 posts to cool down.However all previous healings now take half the time to heal, along with she is now able to attack while healing with Rank 0 and Rank 3 healings.

Rank 9 - This rank of the ability has nothing to do with others, it has entirely to do with Nanmei. The power of regeneration, she can now heal Light wounds within 1 posts during battle. Medium wounds within 2 posts. And Heavy wounds within 3 posts, but all of this comes with a heavy cost. Cool downs are the same amount of posts as needed to use, Light wounds 1, Medium 2, Heavy 3.

Rank 11 - She is now able to heal others while in battle, Scratches and flesh wounds take only 2 posts now. While really bad fatal wounds take 4 posts to heal. With both healing cool downs the same number of posts needed to use.

Ability 3: Ice Affinity

Very much the same way Nanmei has Water and Healing, she has Ice under her wing so to speak. Though not as prevalent in her use as the Water, she does tend to use Ice sometimes. Ice is more heavily oriented in Combat rather then Water, though Water Affinity isn't weak in combat just... has more use recreationally.

Note: Ice Affinity Cannot be used at the same time as any Healing or Water Affinity Abilities. So if one of those abilities is used, Nanmei has to wait for that ability to stop, then wait till the cool down period of that ability is done. Then it takes an additional 1 post before Ice Affinity can be used.

Rank 0 - Ice Shards, a relatively non fatal attack along with each shard being 6 inches long and an inch at its widest part. She can shoot out 5 ice shards out like a ranged attack, pretty much by freezing moisture in the air for this. For every two Ranks she gains in power, the 5 extra shards are added to her attack.

Rank 3 - Wow Nanmei is now getting Stronger, she is now able to form Ice Chakram's(That are as strong as steel), only two at a time though. They last for five posts, but with weather and the battle ongoing they collapse and have to be replaced.

Rank 6 - This time she is able to make a simple little Ice Shield, much like her Water Affinity can make a Water Shield. Though this Ice shield as strong as steel would be, It's size is pretty much like a Kite Shield. Only Lasts for 5 posts, and doesn't stop all abilities, especially if the abilities can get through physical blocks of that size. At rank 11 however, she is able to create an Ice Shield orb around her for protection. Or can be around something else for 5 posts instead. There is a 3 post cool down before she is able to make another shield though. Because of the density and size of the Ice for both parts though, they weigh more then her Water Shield so cannot be moved as easily either.

Rank 11 - Ice Armor, the ability to incase herself in Ice to protect her without getting rid of all her mobility, The strenght of Steel. Though it does make her slower however, and lasts only 5 posts. She is able to attack while wearing Ice Armor however, but only other Ice Affinity stuff.l

Rp sample: Light played across the sky, while the crack of thunder echoed to the very core of every living thing around. Dreary rain couple with the darkness whenever lightning did not shown made the surroundings very hard to see through. Even for the one who could bend water to her will, but it was just her luck. Nanmei had to hide inside a dirt burrow inside the ground as she watched this oddly clothed person with a sword hunt around. That Shinigami was looking for her again... Why could he not leave her alone? She did not want to be captured again, she didn't mind him but did he really have to cage her up? Did she always have to be caged up and not able to do just anything she ever wanted?

Seconds seemed to pass by slower then a snails pace, almost an eternity it felt like even as the day turned to an even darker stormy night. He was still looking, intent upon his quarry to take back as a saved soul. For some reason though this one ran from him, didn't most soul's want to be saved? Nanmei though could not read or know of his thoughts, thankfully though he started to drift away to search elsewhere.
