Just an average day for a shinigami in Rukongai (open)

The cloudy gloomy sky watched over the Rukongai district, the thunder roared and echoed loudly across the whole district, as the souls just stood there and awaited the downpour of rain to begin; it haden't rained in three weeks so the rain was welcomed amoung most of the residents of Rukongai. The first drop fell slowly it looked like the only drop of rain in the sky as it plumetted towards the earth, it fell slowly and gracefully, then the small droplet of rain hit a sleeping man on the forehead it trickled down his face, as soon as that droplet hit the man its as if someone opend the gates to the heavens as the downpour started, the rain dropped violentley. The sleeping man awoke and raised his hand "rain? tsk, what a pain, now i can't sleep here" the man stood up as he started his walk bacck to the barracks, the man let out a deep yawn and scratched the back of his head, and then looked at his hand as it was drenched just by touching his hair "looks like i will have to take cover some where" he said, he came across a small bar, he smiled he wanted a drink anyway, he walked into the bar as he sat down on the bar stool, he got a lot of foul looks as he took his seat, "who the hell are you?" asked the barman, the man looked up to see the barman giving him the same look as everyone else, but he shrigged it off and replied "my name is Bishamon" he said with a grin, the barman gave him the same look "i'll rephrase that what the hell are you?" he asked with disgust, Bishamon stared at the barman with curiousity, why is he asking me what i am, he though, and then it clicked "oh! thats right people around Rukongai don't take kindly to shinigami do they, heh, i bet you all want to kick my ass right now" he said as he looked around at all the rugged, beastly men cracking their knuckles looking at him with the intent to kill, Bishamon saw where this was going "heh, well i can take a hint, i will be going now" he said, still keeping his calm expression on his face, Bishamon stood up as though to leave, "your not going anywhere!" shouted one of the men as he darted towards Bishamon, the man clenched his right fist and threw a brwalers puch, Bishamon dropped his stuck both of his arms out, and slipped the punch, it was like the man was moving in slow motion to him he then grabbed the man arm and stook out his leg infront of the mans leg and threw flipped him and sent him crashing to the ground, Bishamon turned around and looked at the group of men confronting him, there was about twenty of them, the group where hesitant after they saw what Bishamon done to the man that attacked him, but they didnt back down, Bishamon gave them a cold look and said "this is going to be a pain"

Draylon watched from the corner of the bar, drinking something out of the small bottle he carries with him, as Bishamon entered soaking wet. What the heck is he doing here? Why is he dressed in his Shinigami Uniform? Ugh this is going to get mess, i better try to stop it. Dray stood up and walked over to the edge of the group surrounding Bishamon.

"You better leave him alone, it's going to hurt if he gets serious... and I doubt you want to carry all your friends to get medical care in this rain, and you, Shinigami, you should probably be more careful, of where you go. I'm sure you will be leaving once the rain stops pouring down, Correct? Now lets all sit down and have a drink shall we? Bartender, a round on me."

Bishamon turned around, and saw Dray standing there, he smiled as the group of men backed down "why hello Dr..." Bishamon stopped realising he didn't want to be identified as a shinigami "why thank you, well i was going to head out now as it is clear im not wanted here, but i can't refuse a free drink" he announced as not to point out that Dray was a shinigami, he walked over to where Dray was sitting as he stepped over the man he knocked out before, he looked down at what he was wearing and laughed "boy, don't i stick out like a sore thumb" he muttered to himslef, he sat down next to Dray.

He picked up his drink, and took a swig, his vioce turned to a whisper "man, im lucky your, fighting all those guys would be a pain...so what brings you out to a bar, i thought you didn't drink" he asked as he took another swig of his drink.

"I don't drink, i was visiting a friend and saw it going to rain and decided to find someplace dry to stay. Also if you ever want to get on the people's good side you need to take care of them, even if they hate you. Stay here."

Dray stood up and walked over to the guy Bishamon had thrown on the ground. He then pulled out some bandages and a salve, and began checking for wounds, whenever he found one he cleaned it and applied some salve, then wrapped it in bandages. Dray turned to the man's companions. "He should be fine now."

After he was done he walked back over to the table with Bishamon sitting at it, "You need to be more careful, you almost twisted his shoulder out of it's socket with that throw, you can't go full power with normal people. Even the speed at which you move effects the force you use, don't forget that. Luckily his wounds weren't that bad and he should be able to get back to work in a few days. Why are you even out here anyways? And why are you even wearing that thing?" Dray points at the robe, "You're smarter than that..."

Bashimon watched with curiosity as Dary cleaned and bandaged up the man he thrown to the ground, Dray walked to the table he was sitting, Bishamon listend to Dray's question and let off a nervous laugh, he knew Dray was right, he scratched the back of his head "well i guess i did go abit over board but i was cranky, you see i went to a spot i really like in Rukongai and i drifted off and the rain just woke me up, but yeah your right i will apologise to him when he gets back on his feet" he said with an awkward smile, he looked down at his robe "ha yeah i didn't really plan on stopping anywhere so i didn't think it would be a problem, besides it looks cool" he said with a childish smile.

He took a gulp of his drink to finish it off, "so who's this friend? if you don't mind me asking"

"An Old couple that lives a few districts over, they run a medicine shop. When I first showed up here 4 months ago they took me in and taught me about this world, hollows, shinigami, all of it. You see I couldn't remember anything about my life or anything before that, i still had my personality and my name though, well, and these clothes." Dray took a swig of his drink and sighed.

Bishamon looked down at his empty glass, and looked at Dray as he sighed, "they sound like nice people" he said whilst he grinned trying to cheer Dray up, "I had someone like that, not an old couple, a young man about the same age as us, he taught me about this world too, infact hes the whole reason i became a shinigami...but...hes dead now" Bishamon put on a fake smile as though he was fine with that, then took a deep breath, he looked over at Dray "keep those people close, friends are rare to come by in this world, protect them with all your strength" a silence fell upon the two.

"Yeah they are nice folk, they understand how the world really works." Dray looks up at Bishamon. "I doubt I have to worry about them though, every once in a while i head on over and buy some medicine and bandages and stuff. You never know when you'll get hurt right? Especially in out line of work."

Draylon sighed and said "Even if something does happen, they'll be taken care of, they hire kids who would just be thugs otherwise and give food to the orphans in exchange for the orphans going and collecting certain plants and materials for them. They are well loved by many people."

Dray took a sip from his drink and paused for a second and listened, "Sounds like the rain is letting up a bit."

"Yeah, they sound like nice people" Bishamon also listened to the rain outside "hmm, yeo sounds like i can get back" he stood up "well i will see ya around, we always seem to be bumping into eachother" Bishamon made his way towards the exit, he look by the man who was still unconcious on the floor, he crouched down, "sorry about that, i got abit carried away" he said with a cheeky grin on his face.

He placed his hand on the door and turned his head to look at Dray "say hi to that old couple for me" he bluttered out, and then he left.

Dray watched as his friend left the bar and the crowd relaxed a little bit. Heh, he really does need to pay more attention and think things through more. He's lucky we aren't in one of the higher districts, there are some people over there who can beat the crap out of you, even if your a shinigami. Dray shook his head and chuckled, then took another sip of his drink. At least i stocked up on bandages and salve. Dray glanced over at the box next to him.

He stood up and walked over to the bartender. "How much do i owe you?" The bartender mumbled "10" Costs more than i thought, oh well, it stopped a fight. "Here you are, 10 and 2 for you as a tip. See you later, well maybe..." Dray walked back over to his box of medicine and picked it up, did a double check for his possessions, left the bar and headed back to the academy.
