Personality:
Highly honorable, and willing to quickly come to the aid of others. He is a combat Medic, capable of fighting and healing. When combined with his particular Shikai, it makes him highly useful to pretty much any of the divisions that might want to take him on. Description: Standing in at 5'9" tall and weighing in at just over 170 pounds, Kei is not the smallest guy around the Sereitei, but he's also not the largest. He is well muscled, but its more like a runner or a swimmers build, with hard lithe muscle tone. He does not dress like the average Shiginami, and yes that makes him stand out in the crowd, but he likes that.


Sealed Zanpakutō :



The sealed form of Kei's Zanpakuto is a very specialized Katana, its about 10% longer then a normal katana, and weighs about 4 pounds. Its blade is point heavy, allowing for greater strength in swing with the weapon, and is extremely sharp.

History/Background:

• Kei was born in Canada, to a mixed family, his mother was Japanese and his father was Canadian. His family started off poor, barely making it from day to day with enough food to feed 2 adults and 4 children which made it tough on everyone. He and his two sisters spent much of their first 10 years of life scrounging around Montreal just trying to survive, while his father took some online courses to try to improve there families overall life.

This continued until his dad got a job in Toronto working for a large investment firm. Kei came close to graduating high school in Toronto, and he would have been the first in his family to do so. He was just a regular kid that enjoyed a few different sports but also enjoyed practicing a variety of hand to hand martial arts styles. He was killed during his senior year when, a younger student went a little nuts and shot up the Cafeteria, he took 4 bullets and took 3 days to die.

Kei later found out that the person who did the shooting was actually under the influence of some really screwed up Hallow, and ever since Kei has made it his personal mission to figure out where the Hallow is and kill it, short of that the wholesale massacre of all Hallows would do the trick as well. That is one of the key reasons that he decided to join the Academy and become a Shiginami.

• Kei was not the greatest, nor the easiest students. He was a bit of a slacker, but excelled in personal combat. He regularly has no true idea about what he’s talking about, unless it comes to combat, but he is really really good at faking it.

One thing that he did seem to excel at though was learning the skill known as Shunpo(flashstep), which he learned in close to half the period of time that it seemed to take the rest of his class. But other then that one little piece, Kei did not seem to be overwhelmingly good at any one thing and did not immediately draw the attention of any of the Divisional Captains. Which is more or less why he is were he is now. He really hopes tho that he doesn’t end up in Division 4, not that he doesn’t respect division 4 for what they do, he just doesn’t feel that he would fit in there well.

• Is a recent graduate of the Academy, and has not been assigned to a division yet Although he has his eyes set on joining Division 11, Division 4, or Division 10, maybe even someday becoming captain of Division 11. But he knows he has ALOT of work before he can get there. Kei hopes that the captain of 11th division will give him the opportunity to prove himself worthy of a seat in his division. He has managed however to avoid making a fool out of himself, physically or verbally, so has managed NOT to alienate any of the commanding officers of the Divisions, so he hopes that not doing so will make it more likely that he will get an assignment that meets closer to his goals.

Kei crouched low on the older building, right now he was in the human world, and he was hunting Hollows. He had been warned that there was a hollow reported near his position. His eyes searched the streets bellow him ensuring that there was no humans nearby that could be incidentally injured by combat in the immediate vacinity. He closed his eyes and opened his senses to the world around him, it didnt take very much longer until he spotted the large, and very very ugly creature that had appeared out of a set of trees in a park across the street.

He watched for a moment while the creature approached the street and he withdrew Moriamori. Whispering the words "To me my Brothers." Behind him and on top of two other buildings appeared 10 clones of himself, each of which were indistinguishable from himself. He looked to the left as one of his clones drew his clone sword and lept to the ground just a few feet away from the Hollow, who screamed some obsenity and immediately launched itself at the first clone.

Using Shunpo, the clone moved behind the Hollow, virtually unseen and took a heavy swing at one of the rear legs of the creatures, and even tho the blow did no damage the creature slowly turned to try to attack the clone again. But the clone was already in motion again, Shunpoing again to the other side of the hollow, this time he was moving a bit slower intentionally, but this time he was headed into the alley that was closest to both beings. If he could make the Hollow think that the clone was too weak to truely hurt it then it might follow him into the tight space.

Kei watched carefully, as the rest of the clones crouched waiting to descend on the Hollow if it entered the alleyway, if they got it into the tight space, then the mostly exposed back of the Wyrm like hollow would be wide open to his attacks from above. Kei inhaled sharply as the seconds seemed to slow down as the monster slowly moved its massive form around and then lunged at the disappearing clone, following it into the dead end Alley. Kei had chosen his ambush descently. Once the Hollow was more then half way into the alley way, Kei and 9 more clones of Kei lept down from the top of the buildings, all of their sword pointed downwards......

Righto, all looks good but for a bit of editing ll characters start at rank 0- which means your an Academy Student who doesn't know shunpo yet, other than that you're golden
