Name: Nekrus Vularo

Nickname: The King of the Night

Gender: Male

Age: 465 | Looks: 34

Personality: Nekrus enjoys to make a game out of his enemies. When in battle, he generally toys with his opponent unless he or she is of a strong enough level to actually match him, at which time he allows his ferocious side to come through. This is what earned him the nickname of The King of the Night, as his ferociousness resembles a nightmare. Outside of battle, he enjoys twisting and bending people to his will, and is generally very good at making other people do as he wishes.

Appearance: Nekrus has long, spiky hair that comes down about as far as the lowest point on his jawbone. His red, blood colored eyes give off the appearance that this is a guy you don't want to jack with. Nekrus wears a white robe, open at the top to reveal the upper portion of his chest, and wears tight white pants that cling to his legs. His Hollow mask consumes his left ear, and comes down to engulf half of his jaw. The top is jagged to resemble teeth.

History: Although it would seem that he would have a long and grueling history of working his way up the food chain as a Hollow, his journey was extremely different than most. When he died and became a Hollow, he was actually far stronger than most other Hollow, easily taking down his prey and becoming more powerful. At the age of 154, he was a well known Adjuchas, and was on his way to becoming a Vasto Lorde. However, this was not to be his fate, for he then met an Arrancar, one of the Espada, and immediately wished for the kind of power the Arrancar had. So, he joined this Espada in exchange for becoming an Arrancar.

For the next two hundred years, he was content with training under the Espada as one of his Fraccion, but eventually grew power hungry and decided that he wanted to take his spot. So, he staged a Coup within the Espada's Fraccion, and while he was vulnerable, they came together and killed the holder of the No. 5 Rank. However, following the killing of the Espada, the surviving Fraccion battled it out to decide who would replace him, and eventually Nekrus came out on top, the one who had staged the Coup and been with the old holder for longer than any of the other Fraccion. His spot secure, he began to bide his time and increase his power as an Arrancar.

Following this and leading up to the current day, Nekrus has been constantly training, and has not taken on a single Fraccion, as he knew that they could easily be swayed, such as he and the old Espada No. 5's had been swayed. Finally, he managed to make his title official with the other Espada, and he became officially recognized as the fifth Espada. His title of the King the Night became justified once more as well, as he began to torture his enemies in battle in a way, although not quite physically as much as mentally. Because of his Zanpakutou's abilities, this became easy for him to do, and his power only continued to grow. He now eagerly trains in hopes of some day joining the top four Espada, although at his current power level, it was quite a ways away.


Zanpakutou Pre-Release Appearance: Before being released, the Zanpakutou looks abnormally long, the blade resting at about five feet in length and the hilt a foot and a half. The hilt has black wrappings around it that have a purple color on the edge, and the blade is a bit darker in color than a normal sword. The guard is shaped like two overlapping crescents, and the edge of the blade is made so that the blade will never cut completely through someone unless Nekrus wants it so. This is so that he can enjoy the pain of those he inflicts wounds upon for a longer amount of time, if he is at no risk himself.

Zanpakutou: Noche Asesino (Night Killer)

Call Out Phrase: Entrance and then Torture, Noche Asesino!

Appearance in Zanpakutou Form: The Hollow mask first explodes and then engulfs his entire head. Where his eyes were, there are black pits, and after these form, spikes begin to jut from his back, and then, finally, his head as well. The spikes on his head resemble a crown in looks and formation.


Ability One -

Name: Grito Cráneo (Skull Scream)

Description: When this ability is used, the foe is struck by a purplish-blackish wave of Reiatsu. This is not all that strong, but after a moment of wait, the true effect of the ability takes effect; the one struck is hit by a migraine so powerful, that it feels like a hammer has been slammed into their head, not strong enough to kill them. However, this is still not the end. Following this hammer-like migraine, which lasts for about four seconds, visions of the foe's worst nightmares begin to form, as if they are actually on the battlefield. This lasts for about ten seconds, but that is long enough for Nekrus to get in close and rain down some strikes. This technique, however, can be dispelled by a targeted blast of Reiatsu or the release of a large amount of Reiatsu from the one struck. (The release of high-level abilities, for example.)


Ability Two -

Name: Demoníaco Abrazo (Demonic Embrace)

Description: When used, this technique sends what appears to be skulls made from Reiatsu up into the sky. However, they then combine into the head of a demon. This head proceeds by looking upon the target and letting lose a scream. What seem like arms erupt from the shadows beneath the skull, but these are only imaginary, caused by the illusion of the technique. After the imaginary arms envelop the foe, they burst, and hundreds of tiny Reiatsu Needles hover in the air and then fly towards the foe. This technique can be dispelled in a similar way as Nekrus's first ability. However, after the needles form, the technique can only be evaded, if the target is able to escape the shock of the original illusion. (The head also disappears once the needles appear.)


Ability Three: Pesadilla de Mordida (Nightmare's Bite)

Description: Nekrus slashes his sword through the air in the direction of a target. Immediately, unless the target raised his weapon to block the invisible attack like one would a normal blade, the target feels as if they truly have been struck. However, they do not bleed and they do not receive wounds. All they feel is the pain, as if they were hit, but without anything to show for it. After each one that hits, the target's mind starts to enter a state that, although they are still awake, they are also in a dream state. Then, as each new strike hits, what's sounds like demonic laughter erupts from all around, and the target begins to hallucinate somewhat, although not on as large a scale as his other ability. (Blade as in, hands, or whatever he's using to attack)


Ability Four: Número de la Locura (Insanity Number)

Description: Nekrus holds his hands before him, and odd, creeping-style music seems to emanate from them in the form of vibrations that enter the target's mind and make it sounds so. This then causes the target to view Nekrus as their very worst nightmare, the one thing they fear more than anything else. He then approaches and strikes the opponent. The hallucination can be cancelled out if the target is strong enough to do so with his Reiatsu, and the hallucination only lasts for one attack, anyways.

Other Abilities -

Custom Cero: Mordido Maldición Cero (Biting Curse Cero)

Description: When used, Nekrus places two fingers to either side of his forehead, and places the other before him, palm facing the target. As this happens, a roiling mass of uncontrolled Reiatsu begins to form in front of his hand. What seems like electricity runs throughout it. Finally, it solidifies into three small orbs of blood red Reiatsu with purplish tinges in them, and all three are shot at the enemy. Each of these orbs carries a third of the original power found in the charging stage, and are aimed in a triangle like way, so that the target must maneuver extremely carefully to avoid them. The orbs are also sporadic and, if Nekrus tries to change the path of the Cero, they will shoot off in all directions. If a single orb were to hit an opponent, it would result in the kind of damage a normal Cero would inflict. If two were to hit, it would result in a very, very dangerous situation. If all three were to hit, only those with a large amount of Reiatsu would be able to survive. However, due to the strange original nature of the Cero, only those with absolutely no skill would actually be able to be hit by all three orbs. The triangle formation the Cero is shot in is far apart, but begins to close as it gets closer to the target. The attack also takes at least fifteen seconds to charge. It can be charged to only one or two orbs worth of Reiatsu.



((Figured that the Forums needed an Espada available for battle in missions and the such, since there aren't many high-ranked Hollows, or Arrancar, class characters that are active.))
