Starvation Doesn't Suit Him (Solo)

It had been so long since he had feasted on Reiatsu, that it felt as if even Raizen wouldn't be able to keep himself from going on a rampage. He walked along through the dessert, dragging his blade-arm in the sand simply because he didn't feel like holding it up. Hunger was on the verge of consuming him, and he knew that he had to devour something soon, because if he didn't, he would no doubt end up attacking someone far stronger than he. So, he slowly found himself drawing closer and closer to a distant pair of white-stone rock buildings jutting roughly from the ground. He could sense many Hollow there, resting, no doubt a group trying to become Menos, Hollow that had banded together to advance in power. Too bad they had become Raizen's target for a meal.

Slowly, ever so slowly, Raizen crept upon the resting Hollows. Outside of the main entrance into one of the rock buildings, a sickly looking Hollow stood guard, half asleep and an easy first target. Raizen licked his lips and began charging up Reiatsu in his blade-arm. He hadn't eaten in a very long time, and the fact that such a large amount of Hollow weaker than he, if only by a little bit, had been discovered happened to make him extremely happy. He reached the now sleeping Hollow, and gripped him by the throat, bringing him into the wall of the rock. He grinned, and the Hollow panicked and began to thrash, trying to break free from Raizen's grasp.

"Rīpingu Kyōda," growled Raizen, and then he stabbed the other Hollow through the stomach. As he died, Raizen absorbed all of the Reiatsu from the other Hollow, shivering in delight as he was finally able to feed again. As the last bit of Reiatsu was absorbed, Raizen allowed the other Hollow's body to drop. He began charging Reiatsu in both his teeth and his blade-arm, in case he needed to be able to attack at any second, and entered the rock-building. Silence greeted him. He couldn't hear a thing, although he could still sense the Reiatsu of the other Hollow. Something wasn't right. A moment later, he found out what it was, as the three Hollow leapt from hiding to attack him. They snarled and ran towards, him, but Raizen met them with equal force.

"Hone Kuranchā!" yelled Raizen, and he clamped his jaws down on the neck of one of the Hollow. Instantly, the Reiatsu from his teeth discharged into the Hollow, and he died in his mouth. He absorbed the other Hollow's Reiatsu, and then turned and threw his body from his mouth to slow down the other two. The body crashed into the one closest to Raizen, and so the Hollow ran to him and brought his blade-arm into his face, cutting through his head with ease.

"Rīpingu Kyōda!" he yelled, and that finished off the other Hollow for sure. Raizen withdrew his blade-arm from the head of the now disappearing Hollow, and then absorbed his Reiatsu, immediately diverting some of it into his arm to take down the last attacker, who had faltered after seeing Raizen kill his two allies. That gave Raizen all the time he needed to finish charging up another attack, call out the attack's name, and bring his blade-arm crashing into the other Hollow's side, slicing him in two. The Hollow let out a shriek of pain, and then fell, dead. Raizen instantly absorbed his Reiatsu, and almost felt full. Almost. However, there was still one other Hollow left that Raizen could sense, and so he moved quickly deeper into the cave, hoping to finish his job and escape before other Hollows, stronger than he, arrived because of the Reiatsu surge in the area.

He reached the last Hollow, and found himself face to face with one with a stronger Spritual Pressure than Raizen's. However, the other Hollow had been cocky, thinking that he wouldn't even need to check if the one's he'd sent after Raizen had won or not and simply believing that they would, and so Raizen was right behind him, teeth and blade-arm already filled with more Reiatsu. He clamped down on the Hollow's shoulder from behind and removed a chunk from his body, instantly sealing the other's fate as a non-Menos. As he tore away a chunk of the Hollow, he brought his blade-arm into his hip, and instantly the other Hollow fell to the ground, howling in pain. He turned and brought his fist up into Raizen's face, causing him to stagger back, but he didn't let a simple punch slow him down. He came forward again and simply stabbed the Hollow with his blade-arm without charging it up with Reiatsu. He did this several times, avoiding the flailing limbs of the other Hollow, and finally, his prey died.

Raizen grinned, and then proceeded to devour every bit of Reiatsu that had belonged to the now-dead Hollow lying on the floor before him. As he finished, he heard a distant roar, and began to sense stronger Hollows heading in his direction. Knowing that he had to get moving, Raizen turned and bolted from the rock-house. He had fed enough to last for weeks, so he had to move on. He could return later for any pickings that would be left over in the aftermath of the battle between all of the cannibal Hollows that were heading in the direction of the two white rocks. However, he'd run away now. He was too weak to stand against the Hollow heading his way at the time, but some day soon, such a thing would be unfathomable...
