On the waves

Kuroi awoke to a pain indescribable, one of lacking, one of suffering, and one that a dozen others shared with im... He was in the middle of the ocean a giant freighter ship was being tossed by a record storm, water poured in the container... saltwater, it burned the eyes of everyone in there... many likely proud shinigami, and they were reduced to huddling in a wet corner... None had Zanpaktou's their spiritual Aura's were fading, all were very weak.

He felt like he couldn't use any spiritual powers, which was true, the entire container was made of a mixutre of Seki Seki and steel. most were about his rank, 11th seat to 6th seats, probably replacable. Kuroi wished he could heal, make these people feel better but he couldn't at all...

He simply huddled in a corner and slept...

Kuroi awoke to a door opening, that door he happened to be leaning on... He fell out, he saw a pole, and a giant stack of crates towered above him, but he nearly passed out, feeling the power of the his captors, and possibly his weakened state contributed as well...

They seemed like the devil, and suddenly he was flipped head over heels into the back of the crate, the steel hard as well... steel...

Kuroi picked himself up as the captors quickly chained the shinigami in the crate, before scurrying out...

now in chain handcuffs, Kuroi and his fellow shinigami marched out, into what seemed to be an abandoned prison island. It was next to a red bridge, "Alcatraz..." He thought... He observed it, and felt the seki seki barrier 'Alcatraz is nothing but a spirtual prision...'

-15 minutes later-

Kuroi was stripped of clothing, and issued blue prison clothes, and marched through a deep laberinth of tunnels, arriving at a dozen cells in a row, all made of seki seki...

Kuroi was pushed in one and left to sleep...

Kuroi awoke, his bare frame ached, his shinigami robes were gone, as well as his Zanpaktou, a jump suit, made out a scratchy white fabrick, it had no pockets and seemed hand made, tailored to fit, if badly...

He put it on, and started searching the cell, it had some sort of suppressant of spiritual pressure, which was robbing him of his, and feeding it into the walls around him, some sort of recycling system.

After a through examination of the cell, it was revealed that it was 4 feet by 8 feet, and about 6 feet high, Not very big, a stone sleeping bench with a meager sheet and thin pillow lay on it, and a toilet, with modern plumbing and all, was in the corner.

There was no sense of privacy at all, and as he glance around, through the bars of his cell, he saw eight or nine other occupied cells, with a total of 13 cells possible, and they were arranged in a half circle around a central operation room. It was a glass room, or at least appeared so, it was air locked to a shower and a drain... on the other side a plush living room, or at least a very large bed...

A man started through his end of the air lock, clad in a white hasmat suit, as he passed through the examination room, he pulled a lever, and the cells were simultaniuously opened...

Before Kuroi took a step out of the cell, a largish man, but he had a wisened look on his face, rushed the man in the containment suit, he took two steps, then fell, his entire ridged, and his eyes vacant. He started to disitegrate, like hollows do when they die...

Kuroi just looked at him in pain, knowing that if he tried to help him, the same fate would befall him...

The man in the suit said, "take 1 step out of your cells", Kuroi noticed that 4 more men were entering through the airlock, guards, they had assault rifles, and Kuroi suddenly got the feeling that the man in there was the most powerful one out of the bunch...

He countinued, pointing at four of the people him being the last, "Line up in front of the door."

And every one of these shinigami did so, the man in the hasmat suit threw them into the airlocked room,

Kuroi was flung into the shower, the spray tore through the jumpsuit like it nothing more than bubbles, turning to literally, nothing, in a matter of seconds...

The jumpsuit's went down the drain of the airlock, the fabric dissolving under the water, and then the containment suit, turned a knob, and the water changed, it burned, not from warmth, but from an acidic burn, Kuroi felt this on his hair, and his back, he imediatly closed and covered his eyes, inhaling a deep breath, his ears and other orifices would have to fend for themselfs...

The acid spray melted layer after layer of the four shinigami's skin, leaving all of them in the nude, and bright red, throughly decontaminated, 0 percent chance of contamination. After the containment man shut off the acid and the water, leaving them cold and wet. The contaiment man pushed them gestured to them to go through the now open end of the airlocked showers. The containment man didn't get the shower treatment as he stepped through the airlock, he just stripped his hasmat suit, and walked in... leaving it in the airlock. Now in a pressurized air tight room, the containment man choose the first shinigami, a girl who was covering her... parts... She was blind though, not having the sense to cover her eyes in the acid. He laid her down on a table, after she went ridged from the touch of the man, and started attaching medical equipment, suddenly her heart beat began showing itself as constant beeps, and zigzags on a line.

He attached electrodes to her, and suddenly, after a crack, he knew she was no more. He touched her again, and she dissolved like a hollow.

"I have to get out of here..."

Kuroi was up next...

Kuroi was touched, and immoblized. The man was not gentle as he was with the girl, he hit the table like a plank, and simply laid there, the man attached electrodes and medical equipment, this time the electric shock came on slowly, until no human could take it, then he took it abit further, in the gigai, kuroi was simply dieing, his spiritual form deresonating from the gigai, he touched the gigai and it turned to ash, leaving his spiritual form behind, but it was not holding together, loosing power and loosing pieces...

now the man went to work, a grin on his face like a puppy who got a truck full of treats...

The man knocked Kuroi out somehow, and it was all kuroi could do to hang on to his being in the one place it wasn't likely to die, his zanpaktou, he simply held on until the man had finished, when he awoke...

He survived, the man looked unhappy, ready to discard Kuroi as a failed experiment...

Thats when Kuroi moved...

Kuroi had his zanpaktou in his spiritual form, and more importantly, could move. Kuroi sprang from the table, knocking over various expensive looking devices. The man looked shocked, but not panicked, Kuroi ran, drab robes over his body, not his shinigami robes, but at least he was clothed...

He ran slashing through the airlock, as the man prepared to give chase. Kuroi didn't care what happened, he couldn't shunpo, and apparently the man couldn't either. So it was a footrace, through a lounge, up a set of stairs into a prison cell, its door open...

Kuroi sprinted thorugh the prison that was alcatraz, but he heard the man gaining, slowly but surely...

Kuroi turned, and sprinted back, his sword raised high, the man flinched, and ran the other way momentarily, forgetting that he was more powerful. And kuroi ran the other way, he opened the gap considerably with that scare tactic, and he eventually broke pursuit, where he used all of his remaining reiatsu, to open a Senkai gate...
