Personality: Katsumi is a down to earth man who is at peace with himself. He has a sense of duty to those in authoritative positions. Friends would say Katsumi has the heart of a lion with the tenderness of a child. Making friends with katsumi is easy, it's earning his trust on the battlefield that needs to be proven in time and test. However once this trust has been established, Katsumi becomes the man who would give his life for those he cares for.

Appearance: Katsumi is a stocky man of average height. Long dark hair up to his back. Bright white eyes lite the face of this massive creation. Standing tall, Katsumi looked like a the ideal heavy weight champion.

History/Background: Katsumi was never a boy who like to stay inside and collect his thoughts. All of his thinking was done outside in the playground of the city Orphanage. His parents were killed in front of him when he was 5 years old. Never able to get the image of their deaths out of his head, he resorted to his private time outside where he spent his time running through the forest and climbing the trees. by the age of 12 Katsumi was in and out of 9 foster homes. Everytime he thought he finally got a normal life back, he was sent back. By the age of 14, Katsumi accepted the fact the he was never going to get a home. It was time for him to move on. Running away from the orphanage seemed like the only way he could try and make a destiny for himself. It was outside the city fight club he met the one who would become his most loyal and best friend. He spent the next 5 years training with his friend who was working on becoming a professional fighter. That is until the day of the great earthquake. At 18 years of age, Katsumi's best friend was killed saving his life. For the first time in 14 years, Katsumi felt a sense of hope. Knowing that there was someone there to give to him his life gave him a sense of duty to return the favor. At the age of 26, was shot outside the City Fight Club trying to protect the young female club owner.

Rp sample: Another bright day in Rukongai. A cool breeze coming in from the north making Katsumi's hair flare. "Three months and still nothing. No one familiar and in this world, alone just like before. I can't..." Suddenly his attention was drawn away when a loud crash came from across the street. A young child came running out of the house screaming. Another loud crash and a thump! "What in the world is going on?" He thought as he peered in the door from a distance. "You've been hiding for far too long." He heard a low sinister voice of a man. A bright light flashed and four men came out of the house dragging the body of a man dressed in the same black and white clothes as the girl who sent him to this place.

"Where do you think the other one went to?" Another shorter girl walked out of the house. "Why do they all dress like this?" he thought. Approaching the group, he kept caution not to stand in the way. A taller, less muscular man stepped in his path. "You have no business here get moving." he said and he pushed Katsumi aside. "Your either very brave or very stupid to be pushing people on the streets." Katsumi said in a calm subtle voice. This man approached Katsumi as to show him where he stands in this world, but was cut off when Katsumi quickly got off a punch to his stomach. Falling to his knee, he could hardly utter a word. Catching his breath seemed difficult. "Your fast" said the man who seemed to be in charge of this group. "It's people like you we tend to look for to join the Gotei 13."
