Personality: He is a stern and cold hearted individual, especially towards people from Rukongai. Coming from a noble family, He has always been raised to think he was better than others. Though he has to show respect to those citizens of Rukongai that have risen through the ranks of the Gotei 13, he has a great feeling of disdain for them. He will try to sabotage any of them from making a name for themselves and earning the respect of other members of Seireitei. Even going so far as to kill them if need be.

Appearance: Raiden is a stout man that always has an intimidating glare in is eyes. His appearance compliments his personality perfectly. His hair grows just past his shoulders. He always dresses in the onmitsukido's traditional black garb.


Sealed Zanpakutō : His sword is rather plain, consisting of a black handle and square black tsuba. The blade is of average length approximately 2.8 ft

Description: His sword retains its black handle, but loses its tsuba. He can now take his sword apart, creating two swords that can connect at the hilt. (similar to Cao Pi's weapon from Dynasty Warriors 5)


Ability #1 - Utsushi (Copy)
He is able to take the form of anybody he has had contact with. While in this form he is able to use all of their abilities. However, he is limited by his own skills (stats). (I.E. He has to know Bankai to use said persons Bankai.)

Ability #2 - Futatoori (Duplicate Pair)
This allows him to create 2 clones of himself, who then have access to all of his abilities. These 3 beings can be forced back together into one being regardless of their forms. He will then be unable to reuse this technique for the duration of his release.

Ability #3 - Shuushoku (Embellishment)
Amplifies the attack/defensive abilities of the copied persons techniques.

History/Background: Born into the Konoe Clan, a clan destined to serve the Shihoin Clan as elite bodygaurds, he was born Konoe Sadao. Sadao was trained as any other noble with the exception of being trained as a assassin/bodyguard. Being noble, he thought he was superior to anyone under his family and treated them as such, "trash." Before being entered into duty under the Shihoin Clan his name was changed to Raiden, a name that was suppose to strike fear in others. While on missions he excelled over his peers, with the exceptional few that were practically equal to his skills, some of them from Rukongai. Feeling that they were undeserving of the equal praise he was receiving he would carefully sabotage their efforts during missions, which sometimes ended in their death. He feels that no citizen or former citizen of Rukongai should be allowed to enter into the Gotei 13 or Omnitsukido, or for that matter even set foot in Seireitei, thinking that the only pollute the noble aura of their select society. After many years he was promoted to Head of Security for the Shihoin clan. He was however very displeased with the promotion of Kuro Akarui, the current captain of the 2nd squad and Omnitsukido, who from Rukongai, had a questionable past that Raiden felt lowered the standing of the clan and Gotei 13. He secretly vowed to never allow another Rukongai native the chance to advance through the ranks. His primary focus right now is Tatsuya Okibi of 2nd squad, who has the unbridled potential to surpass him and much of the current members of the Gotei 13 and Omnisukido.
