a change of mind (solo)

A day in the 11th squad barracks went by with training and practice in the physical skills allot, but even though it was mostly like that, he still found time to read a book now or then by hiding in different spots around the barracks, but he could not let his physical skills fall behind because of his newfound love for books, so this time he had joined the squads routine morning trainning, it contained mostly of facing other people in spars, and doing hard and exhausting laps around the yard, most of the training turn into competitions in some way or the other, who could do the most push ups, or who could run the quickest around the yard.
It was all so filled with bravado, everyone wanted to be better then one another, and Lavi could not stop himself from being part of it from time to time, even he had competitors blood in his veins.
He even found it fun to gamble a bit money now and then about the outcome of different competitions, though he usually lost more then he won, he was not the best at predicting the outcome of the battle or other competitions, but even though he still enjoyed it, but it had gone trough his mind quite a few times if he was in the right squad, sure he favored a good fight now and then, but he also found it good to read books, and the squad was not much for a person like that.
But then just what squad would he fit better into, the 12th squad was way too technological for him, he would not stand a chance there at the current time, tough he did not now much of all the other squads and what they favored the most, maybe the 10th or 8th squad was nice.
He had to look deeper into it at some point, possible talk with some of the people from there when he got time for it.
