:: Meanwhile somewhere in Japan ::
The train rolled onward through the night. The low hum it emanated was all that was heard at this hour of the night. The last car of the train was empty save for one teenage boy sitting alone, nodding in and out of sleep. Its not that Kazuhiko couldn't sleep, but thoughts of the preceding dayhad bothered him. He had gone to Okinawa to conduct his Christmas tradition, to pray at his mother and fathers graves. That was the only thing he did to celebrate Christmas, he mostly despised this time of year, but never told anyone why he hated it so. Little did he realize he already had missed the Karakura Town stop nearly an hour before. The train slowed to a jerking stop, which shook kazu enough to wake him. "my stop.....finally..." he said with a yawn. He walked off the train, fatigue showing in every inch of his body.
This stop was different then most, which had stations for them. This one was just a small raised pavilion on a plateau in this mountainous region. The immediate area was nothing but farmlands. But kazu didn't notice till the train had pulled away with his bags. The fatigue he had been feeling quickly washed away as he ran after the train to the end of the platform, where he stopped and watched the train disappear into the distance. A icy cold wind swept up from behind him, sending a chill down his spine. He turned his head to see its source. What he saw made him spin in place. A circle projecting a bright white light, and a deathly cold wind. The portal began to move towards him, and kazu reacted by turning and jumping off the platform. "WHY DOES THIS SHIT ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME!?!?!?!!" He screamed as he leaped from the platform. The portal suddenly appeared underneath him, and kazu disappeared into it.
:: Outside (and above) the Lodge ::
The white light gave was to snowy scenery and blue skies. But he had more important things to worry about. The 'portal' and decided to drop him off in this realm about ten feet above the lodge, and directly over the center of its roof. He braced his body as best he could as he fell, but still hit the roof hard enough to cause the snow he landed on, and most of the snow on the roof to break free. The snow, now free and moving, took kazu along for the ride, kicking and screaming the whole way to the ground. Now half buried in the snow with just his usual clothing (gloves, hoodie, jeans and a long sleeve shirt underneath the hoodie.), and his vision blurring from the impacts. He couldn't move around much, the snow pinning him in place. He let out a groan and just layed there, shivering, and staring into the sky.
