Just grabbing a drink (open)

After a session Kal went to the bar to relax. He ordered a drink and went and sat at a table, and just kicked back looking to relax, maybe find someone to talk to.

After taking a long drink he looked around and saw that oddly enough in the last few minutes the bar almost filled up. He thought to himself,"I wonder why its so crowed tonight. Did i miss a notice or something on a event happening or something?" He was not one to keep a guard up, but tonight he just felt uneasy, so he kept his mind at the ready just incase something came up, for he had already had enough exercises for now.

Bars were a common retreat for the weary souls, and none were as weary as Arawn. Several tons of paperwork, moving of heavy equipment, running errands all across Sereitei, and helping with quite afew gross experiments he was beat. Worst part was that he had yet to find time to work on his own feeble projects. At most he had still looking for materials, and was now too tired to even bother. His free time would be spent resting or relaxing. The tavern's atmosphere was calming, no one paid him any attention as he walked in. He took an empty seat at the bar. He didn't want to drink himself into a stupor, he had to get up early for an assignment. He ordered some lemon and tonic. He started to wonder why he had joined the 12th squad in the first place.

Finishing his drink, he walked back up to the bar. Taking a seat at the bar instead of the table, he asked the bartender for another drink, then continued to study the room.

He noticed a few out of place people but thought nothing of it as it was a public place, and to the best of his knowledge, everyone was allowed in here. Receiving his drink he thanked the bartender and smiled, then proceeded to casually sipping it, While studding the general populace of the bar.

Since his drink lacked the liquor, the bar seemed quite dull. He could leave, but all that awaited him was some extra paperwork and newly cluttered workbench. He needed something to occupy his time. But most people were too involved in their own drinks, and he rather not but in on total strangers. Here was a place of regular souls. While shinigami were welcome, they were some were still considered unapproachable. It depended on how well know you were, and Arawn was a nobody. The best approach was for them to ignore him. A student sat at the bar sipping his drink, the man wore the academy uniform. He stood as much as Arawn did in his black robes. Perhaps a simple conversation could be possible.
"Hello there." he started "How are you finding your lessons at the academy?"

Kalren looked at the man and replyed "There going quite alright. Learning abit here and there, but you know how it is, i think. Mind me asking who you might be good sir?" He looks awkwardly around the room, and then back at the guy sitting near him, and smiles a nice friendly smile hoping to better know this man.

Elick decide to grab a drink, maby find some people to talk to. He entered the bar, and saw two shinigami talking,, so he went and sat in there general area, smiled and opened with a, "Hello you two, my name is Elick, how are the both of you doing today?" He noticed that the one guy looked to be from the academy, and might even be in the same class as him.

Smiling he looked around the room, and saw that the bar was fairly full, but it still seemed kind of quiet.

"Me?" Arawn lets his head droop down and hit the counter "No one of importance it seems." he mutters to himself. "I'm a member of squad 12." he says aloud. He doesn't want to make a poor impression on the student. "Just taking a break away from work. Most days moments like this are mighty rare." He sips the tonic, and greets the newcomer. "Not too bad I supposed. Pull up a seat, the more the merrier." Anything to avoid more work, Arawn said to himself.

Elick grabs a seat and sits with them. Compared to the other two he looks tiny. He stretches and turns to the other academy student, and say "well whats your name? do you happen to be in the same class as me, in the academy." He smiled and hoped that he would be received well

Kalren looked over Elick for awhile, and then replyed to him, "Hello Elick, I am Kalren, and this guy here, well he has yet to give me a name so i cannot formally introduce him." He smiled and then looked at Arawn, hoping to get his name, for he enjoyed knowing the people around him.

"Around here names mean little without rank." Arawn states "Sorry, I'm being rude. I'm Arawn" He tries to smile. "Sorry work has sapped most my energy. Like I said moments of freedom are quite rare for me." He hoped neither of them had their eyes set on joining the 12 squad, but he felt they probably wouldn't find shinigami work as exciting as it really was. Facing off against monsters one minute, life and limb on the line. And then filing papers the next, without an end in sight. It was a bipolar job of sorts. Danger mixed with boredom, but his workload grew daily due to his low status.

Kaiyo stumbled through the bar doors, dressed rather unusually. The captain was wearing her academy uniform; a fancy dress party for her squad. Even matching her outfit with a plastic cutlass at her hip and just because she'd actually wanted to go as a pirate, a pirate hat. Kaiyo bounced up onto the bar stool, 'Yaaarrgghhhh. I'd like a drink please' she announced politely. The barman eyed the girl for a second, he seemed a bit unsure at how to the take the oddly dressed academy student. Still, business was business and he wandered off to get the girl a drink.

The party had in fairness not been Kaiyo's idea, but her entire squad had liked the idea, so she'd organised it. Kaiyo couldn't remember the exact reason, but the last time the 11th squad Captain had dressed up as a pirate with an eye patch there had been a few complaints. Oh well, Kaiyo was really just a bit sleepy from the party, so she'd figured a drink would wake her up a bit.

Looking at Arawn, Kalren made a mental note of his name. Then busted in the dressed up Kaiyo. Kal looked at her, and all her fanciness, and noticed that she even had a plastic cutlass. He turned and studied her, then thinking he reconised her said, "Hey there, nice outfit, oh and i am Kalren." He smiled and then looked at Elick and Arawn, hoping someone would start a conversation.

Kia walks into the bar after an unusually dressed woman caught her eye on her routine random exploration to relive her seemingly perpetual boredom. her long silver blue hair tied in a ponytail waves behind her, and the silver threads attached from her wrists to the hilts of her two short zanpakuto glint in the light as she gracefully skips up the the strange woman."hey is there a costume party going on somewhere sounds like fun can i join" she says blatantly interrupting the conversation her question clearly being more important, at least to her.

"Does not look like a costume party, to me at least. Looks like she wanted to wear it so she did." He looked right at Kia, still not knowing her name asked, "Mind telling us your name?"

He smiled, and then, as the bartender walked by, ordered some sake. He tapped his index finger on the table as he waited for his drink to arrive.

Kaiyo spun around on her stool smiling slightly at the first guy who spoke to her. He seemed nice enough, nice to enough to approach a complete stranger in a bar, but Kaiyo wasn't complaining for the company. The short blonde pirate opened her mouth reply, no words actually coming out as she cut off by a stranger. A girl to be more exact. Kaiyo giggled, slightly flustered by the people asking her questions. Her confused look dropped from her face as she let out a small sigh. Nudging the top of her pirate hat up with her knuckle as she turned first to the female. She did afterall seem more demanding in her question.

'Naaarrrghhhh, no sorry the party was yesterday' That felt awkward to say. Kaiyo's cheeks prickled a light shade of red. She was still feeling somewhat light headed from the previous night, and she hadn't honestly been expecting this much contact with people. Still, the bubbly blonde was more than happy to talk to people. Kaiyo tilted her head to one side at Elick's comment, unsure of how to take it really, so she just sat there like a lemon an smiled. Rubbing the back of her head slightly as she spoke, 'I'm a pirate...Who be ye...Landlubbers?' she chuckled, glancing past the three people nearest her to their other companion, her question aimed at him as well.

The atmosphere had changed in a flash. A single person can effect a room, be it good or ill. Arawn smiled at the new addition and yet something tickled the back of his skull. Was it his mental alarm? He looked at his phone, it was getting late. It might be best for him to make his exit now before the things get more chaotic.
"I'm sorry, but I must bid you all farewell. Another time perhaps I can be of better company." He gives short bow as he gets up and walks to the bar's exit. He turns to look before he leaves. He has seen that person before somewhere. He shakes his head, he probably won't think of where until much later. He sighs thinking of the work that awaits him and exits

Kia Sighed heavily at the pirate clad womans answer disappointed that she missed the party. she had bin wandering around all day trying to find something fun to do and her most promising lead turned out to be a dead end "thats to bad i love costume party's" She says to the woman compleatly ignoring Elicks question... and Elick.

Elick felt kind of annoyed by being ignored, but looked at the pirate and said, in the best acent he could make, "What yur name be, ms' pirate?" and then smiled.

He was sad to see Arawn leave, but understood that he probley had duties as a seated member. He hoped that this time he might get a response from someone, when he asked his question.
