The trap (solo)

It was late in the evening, and the sun was about to set, people was finishing up their last moment purchases, and retiring to their respectable habitats. A soothing smell of fried chicken and other food was in the air as people were getting ready to eat.
In a small alley a whole was crying to itself, it had been there a few days now, and yet no one had discovered the whole except for one man, who did nothing but to pass by her before he was gone again.
Jacob was that man, and he now used this small whole as a bait to catch a larger prey, either it would be a hollow or a shinigami that would walk into this small trap, and either way he would be able to improve his own strength by stealing their spiritual energy.
The plan was very crude and he did not really want to do much on making it flawless.
After a long time waiting and observing the whole someone finale made their appearance, and to his luck it was a shinigami, he did not have any hatred to them himself, they did serve a good purpose in their own way, but they were also the reason that this never ending cycles was moving on, and for the best of the world they had to be removed too just like the hollows.
Jacob let himself glide through the ground and made his way towards the whole while hiding under the ground, and just as the shinigami was about to send the whole to the next world Jacob appeared from the ground hitting trough the whole towards the stomach of the shinigami.
Jacob had been a little too late, the whole was sent just as he hit trough it, so he was no able to kill it in the process, however the shinigami was not so lucky, and was hit right in the stomach.
The shinigami made a jump back to get away from Jacob and stood seemingly unhurt, but after a few seconds the shinigami could feel a great pain in his stomach, yet no blood was flowing, and no wound was to see if the looked at.
Jacob simply had a wicked smile to it all, he knew the fight would end before it had begun because of the attack. Moving in again Jacob grabbed the confused shinigami by the throat and pushed him against the wall, and before the shinigami had a chance to say more he struck his hand right through the chest and hit him directly at the hearth without making any damage to the outer skin.
He wanted to send a message to the shinigami that they were hunted in the real world, and that they should be careful of where they go, as this would just be the first of similar murders he was intending on doing in the future to get the message trough.
He released the dead shinigami and searched his body until he found a mobile.
He found the emergency button and placed it back on his body, that way other shinigami would be sure to find this one and get the message around.
He then disappeared as he had arrived, his only concern was the whole that had escaped him, if it had seen his face and got explained to the shinigami, then he could no longer use the advantage that he was unknown.
