| I must say I'm proud of that title. Came to me as I hit the new post button. Anywho....
Penny Arcade has once again come to a serious subject matter rather than the last one. So it seems developers want to deter second sells of their games. And frown upon those that buy used rather initial release or their products. Honestly I side with the "I selectively buy new games, and pick up ones I missed used later/discount price." But in all honestly I usually rent a game before I buy unless I have more than enough info (demos or reviews) I don't feel guilty. I cannot justify with spending $250 a month on video games. Sorry guys. If they do start making game codes and one use content (initial purchaser registered) I can only see used games falling in price, or additional services to "reactivate" games. Digital distribution is the few ways to avoid the "problem". Steam, XBLA, PSN, and even LOLNINTENDO are already going that route, slowly but surely. | |
