| The new teacher was a rather plain female, just a little overweight. She seemed friendly as she walked up to the stage and introduced herself. "My name is Kagome, and I'll be teaching you about the next level of Bakudo. It's good to see so many faces in the crowd." She smiled encouragingly at everyone. She then began her lesson. "The first Bakudo we'll be learning is Number 11, Seigen. This Kido is simple and is very helpful if you're fighting an opponent who's just a little faster or more maneuverable then you are. The ability places a circle of power under the opponent's feet, effectively bogging their movements down just a little. It may be just enough to give you the edge you need."
She turned to her target and put her hands together. She said simply, "Bakudo Jyuu-Ichi! Seigen!" A circle of blue energy appeared underneath the target, and a creaking could be heard in the wood as if a heavy weight had been placed on them. The Kido seemed simple enough to do. It didn't even have an incantation.
She turned to them and motioned for them to begin practicing. Garin turned and began to focus on his target. He clasped his hands together like the teacher had and envisioned his goal. To cause the appearance of the circle which would weigh his target down with the force of gravity. Finally, he released the energy he'd been focusing into the Bakudo, "Bakudo Jyuu-Ichi! Seigen!" There was a blue circle under the target for just a second, but then it vanished. Garin nodded. He had it, he just needed to focus a bit more. Trying again, he focused and envisioned every step, including his own movements and how he imagined his Rietsu would flow towards this task. Finally, he opened his eyes, clasped his hands and stated plainly, "Bakudo Jyuu-Ichi! Seigen!" This time the circle flared to life perfectly. He could hear the creak of the wood, and actually could see the arms of the target bending slightly. The more he practiced, the more he realized he had a talent for Kido...

| (ok, for those of you who don't know, this is Ambush flare, called "Fushibi" in the Original Japanese. It is number 12 in the Bakudo list and was first seen when Momo Hinamori used it to trap Harribel's Fraccion.)
The teacher walked up to the stage and smiled. "Welcome class. Today we'll be practicing a Bakudo that is good for trapping opponents and and even for ambushing." She turned towards her target, which was in the center of a field. She began to run, circling the area and shouted out, "Bakudo Jyuu-Nii! Fushibi!" As she ran, a thick yellow net shot from her hand, covering the ground around the target and the target its self. The Target had several thick yellow strands hanging from it and a few draped over it's man-like shape. The teacher spoke as she stood with her back turned to the spell. "This substance is strong and sticky and makes a great trap if you can set down a good bit of it before your opponent arrives. Also, you can control the flow of the net. It doesn't have to be laid down by circling the opponent if you are high enough above them. It's also pretty good with some other spells, like one you'll learn later..." With that said, she points her palm at the huge yellow web and shouts, "Hado San-Jyuu-Ichi! Shaka-HO!" A blast of fire shot from her palm and quickly enveloped the net, burning the target and the ground around it touching the net to blackened char. She turned back and smiled. "Why don't you guys start by trying to snare your target and then we will work on combos once you've become proficient at that."
At her instruction, Garin turned and began to focus on the new Kido. He envisioned the thick yellow net being shot from his hand and pointed his palm out at the target. "Bakudo Jyuu-Nii! Fushibi!" to his pleasant surprise, this ability seemed to come rather easily for him. From his palm shot thick tendrils of yellow web that covered the front of the target, and he was even able to get a hold of it. He smirked and said, "Hado Jyuu-Ichi! Tsuzuri RAIDEN!" He grinned wickedly as the net and target lit up with the powerful electric charge. It would seem that this spell would be rather useful indeed in combination with Hado spells...
