Exceeding Expectations

A Senkaimon appeared in the night sky of the living world , out from it came four figures only barely visible as all were moving incredible fast. Of the four Shinigami one was leading, Ri. A reinforcement order had been giving to him to aid in the defence of some European city.

From recent activist the hollows were being drawn to the city though the root cause was unclear. Two of Ri’s squad mates were already stationed here and from reports were already engaged in battle.

Ri finally stopped in a large park in then centre of the city , he knew the fight was nearby he could feel a few pressures colliding. Walking further into the park Ri caught sigh of the two squad mates but their were no hollows, they were fighting each other.

“Stand down both of you” Ri ordered immediately but neither responded. Ri nodded to the three behind him and at the same time they all flash stepped and took told of both of the Shinigami.

“Whats wrong with you two!” Ri shouted but noticed both of the Shinigami’s eyes were bright red , a hollowish trait. Neither of the two responded but both suddenly collapse and feel unconsciousness.

“ Bring them back to the soul society then report back here” Ri said to two of his squad who immediately nodded then flash stepped carrying the two fallen Shinigami. Since becoming fifth seat Ri had found giving orders easier and seemed to command a lot more respeact.

“What happened to them” Yua , the recently seated seventh seat of Ri’s squad asked as she walked closer to Ri. Ri didn’t answer he wasn’t able to give an answer at all but he didn’t need to a new pressure revealed it self and start to approach.

From the tree line came a immense hollow, not as big as a Gillian but it was huge, bigger then any normal hollow. It seemed to have taken a some what human form but was as big as one of the gate guardians.

“I’m going to guess that thats responsible “ Yua said as both she and Ri drew their Zanpakuto. The hollow advanced without saying a word as Yua and Ri both prepared themselves.

Yua made the first move and shunpo’d right in front of the hollowed and with a elegant slice took the hollows arm right off , at first Ri smiled but them he saw gas be release from the wound.

“Get out of there” Ri ordered but Yua didn’t more, She stood beside the hollow then turned to Ri and her eye glowed bright red. Ri gripped his Zanpakuto tightly , he heard of hollow with the ability of controlling people but they were very rare.

“Coward fight be on your own” Ri demanded but the hollow only laughed with a most sinister of laughs. It held out it’s injured arm and after releasing a roar, the arm healed it self.

“I rather watch you fight your friend ,why get my hands dirty” The hollow said speaking in an oddly feminine tone. Yua turned and came full sprint and Ri , as she came close she began barraging Ri with rapid swipes and slices. Ri managed to stay a step ahead and dodge but he couldn’t keep that up.

He shunpo’d and moved toward the hollow and prepared to strike but as he did Yua threw herself infront of the attack and took the brunt of it. Ri’s blade cut through Yua shoulder. Her eye flashed red then returned to normal as she collapse.

Ri caught her limb body then shunpo’d away , he put her laying on a bench then returned to the hollow, he slowly started to walk toward the hollow, with enough rage in his eye to subdue hell it’s self.

“You really shouldn’t of pissed me off now I’d going to show you pain. Ruler of the winds arise! Gáircas” Ri speaking in a tone that should put fear into the fearless, as he walked the air around him began to spin around him , fuelling him. A vast amount of wing surrounded his Zanpakuto and replaced with the sky blue blade, Gáircas’s released state.

“Rásúr” Ri said as the wind grew fiercer still , magnificent wing sprouted from Ri’s back , made of his reiatsu. They extended themselves then wrapped themselves around Ri to from a chest plate that..

“It’s over” Ri said as he vanished form sight, he didn’t appear again but the hollows arm suddenly erupted in blood followed by the rest of his limbs. Ri was using all of his pressure to increase his movements, in honest he was over doing it but he was to pissed off to care.

Ri removed the hollows arm then appeared in front of him and slowly approached his Zanpakuto held at his side. The hollow was unable to move whether out of fear or due to Ri’s pressure was unsure.

“And now die” Ri said as he shunpo’d one last time to the hollowed head and forced his blade threw the hollows mask into his skull. Ri didn’t wait for the hollow to vanish, He shunpo’d back to Yua and taking her in his arm he made of the gate , Yua was going to need healing and soon.
