| Having arrived by plane on such a nice day, Basil had stopped by a small village to search for a special ingredient for his recipe. Basil's first stop was the store, to check for this ingredient. He asked the owner, who said he didn't know the ingredient existed. Leaving the store in a sour mood, Basil began asking around for such an ingredient, only to find the same answer over and over. One house left, and his mood on the verge of rage-destruction, Basil knocked on the last door in the village. Behind the door an elderly man opened the door. When Basil asked about the ingredient, the elderly man asked for a password, to which Basil said "Pavalone Primavera." His mood had changed instantaneously to an excited one. He almost had it in his grasp! When the elderly man returned with a knapsack, Basil greedily grabbed it, and paid the elder his money. Victory in hand, Basil joyfully began walking back to his plane. | |

| Saroki had been following this mysterious person for dozens of miles so far, even so much that she hitched a ride on a plane. The girl had hidden her spiritual pressure well, as she did not want to alert this man before she found out what his goal was; To be honest, Saroki didn't know exactly what this person was, his body gave off a spiritual pressure, which was extremely peculiar considering he looked exactly like a human. Saroki pressed on, hiding on the roof tops of the houses around her, untill, finally.
The man stopped by at a final house, grabbing a bag and then handing over some money. Damnit, what could this mean?! Saroki racked her mind over what this man was doing, right now, she was completely lost. She wasn't ordered to follow this man, she was just out in the world of the living on her own time. And then she found a odd pressecne, she followed it. And sure enough it was this man.
Saroki sighed, there wasn't any point in stalking him, she might as well have confronted him, considering that another plane ride woul most likely get the poor girl sick; Saroki jumped out infront of Basil. Wearing a serious look on her face. "Oi. What are you?" The girl said out loud with a bit distaste in her tone.

| Having been stopped by none other than a soul reaper, Basil quickly stashed the bag with the ingredient in his pocket. "She wouldn't have asked the question if she knew what I was, so..." he thought, before taking on a friendly enough tone. "What am I? I'm Italian! Mama mia and all that good stuff." Hopefully this soul reaper had a sense of humor, so he could avoid any conflict. Damage to the ingredient was inexcusable. Of course, damage to the soul reaper, on the other hand...
Anyways, avoiding conflict was in the ingredient's best interest, so Basil was not going to kill tonight. Besides, a soul reaper being around meant that it had hollows to take care of. Why would it have time for a Bount it doesn't know about? On that note, why wouldn't it assume that he was just a human with spiritual powers? Their reaitsu signatures weren't that different. Just another question when he gets the chance.

| Saroki stayed silent for a few moments, was this person mocking her? Did he think she was stupid? Normally she'd have a good enough humour, considering her personality; But now of all times, she wasn't in the mood for any crap. She didn't bother changing her expression, she was still serious about this. And as the bount stashed the bag into his pocket, her eyes were fixed on the mysterious package.
This was...Interesting to say the least. "Whats in the bag." The girl said to Basil, sounding more like a cop than a shinigami. But, right now, her job was to confront all potentially dangerous spiritual entities, and neutralize them. By whatever meant neccesary, and to be honest, she knew she was tougher than this person, that she could've probally killed him with one shot if she wanted to, but, at the moment that wasn't in her best interest. Killing without a reason would get her nowhere, and demoted to.

| (ooc: Saroki, a cop? What is this world coming to, an end?)
Basil knew he had to follow the soul reaper's orders if he wanted to escape this peacefully, so he pulled out the bag. Opening it up, Basil pulled out a root, showing it the to orange-haired soul reaper. "It's a root for one of my special recipes," he said, a smile on his face to try and persuade her toward trusting him. "Its special in the fact that there is only one spot in the world that can grow it. This village literally makes its income off of people like me buying it."
Setting the root back in the bag which went back to his pocket, Basil began walking toward his plane past the soul reaper. "Well, miss soul reaper. If that's all you wanted to check up on I'll gladly be on my way."

| ((OOC: Shinigami are the cops of the spiritual world! xD))
Saroki examined the root carefully, what was it used for? Tea was the most likely answer, but then again, tea wouldn't be worth traveling across the world. Even so, before she could investigate the herb more, it was pulled away by Basil, shoved back into his pocket. The girl gave a small frustrated frown. This person was clearly protective of this plant, so, it must've been for something valuable. A weapon, perhaps? A poision? All of these posibilities were as likely as the last one.
Right now, it was impossible to deduct what the root could be used for. The presistent girl followed Basil, still not done with her little investigation.
"A recipe for what?" The girl asked, curiosity filling her voice and expression. Basil's sleek attitude was hard to get past, as he seemed to be able to dodge her questions without fail.

| (ooc: You must be the bad cop. ) Feeling that the female soul reaper was still following him, Basil turned around and walked backward, keeping pace and meeting the soul reaper's gaze with a calm, happy expression. "A recipe for disaster..." he said with a sly grin, before continuing. "...is what you wanna hear, right? Too bad, it's for a special loaf of bread my family has been making for generations. Very famous in Italy." He may be pushing it with his tempting remarks, but he was sure he'd escape this one. Having reached his plane by the time he finished answering, Basil skipped a few steps up. "Now miss soul reaper, unless you'd like to go for a ride in my airplane this conversation is over. I really must get going." | |

| Saroki's eyes flinched a bit at his answer, or, fake asnwer. She felt a rush of excitment run through her body, and then, it died. She didn't like being teased, and especially from strangers. If this were to continue, she concluded that she would have to use force, even if it probally wasn't the most lawful thing to do.
The girl shrugged quietly to herself. She took one step upon the stairs leading to the plane. "Wait, you still havn't told me what you are." The girls voice could barely be heard over the roar of the air-planes engine, she groaned a bit, obviously frustrated with the jet.

| Reaching the tops of the steps, Basil turned around. "Such a silly little misinformed soul reaper you are. If you don't know who I am your superiors probably don't want you to know." The winds from the plane were getting violent now, almost to the point of knocking down a nearby house. Now was the perfect time for Basil to leave, but he must make sure that the female soul reaper didn't take out his plane. He's taken a Ardore Muschio boat before, and that was something he would never do again.
(ooc: *checks to make sure you look old enough before continuing*)
At that time, one of the waitresses came to the entrance and offered Basil some fine wine. Basil took two glasses and the bottle, and handed the waitress the bag with great skill. "So miss soul reaper, would you like to ride in my airplane?"

| ((OOC: *Looks around* <.< >3>))
Saroki examined the waitress, she was wearing rather revealing clothes, for a waitress that is. It was more like a personal maid than anything. She let out a unhearable squeak at Basil's question, this was just a fight waiting to happen. Luring a shinigami into a small space. (Even though the plane was rather big.) If a fight broke out inside the plane everyone would die. Not only would Saroki and Basil die, but the driver, the waitress, and not to mention if the plane crashed in a town. Saroki shrugged slightly, this really wasn't a good idea, but she was desperate for the information.
Saroki knew her superiors would tell her, they had to. She was close to vice-captain rank, wouldn't that be good enough? The girl rubbed her head, this was becoming a bit more tricky than she though. The girl took the glass of wine, fully aware that it would probally be poisioned.
She held it gently, crawling into the plane slowly, as to allow Basil to lead the way. "Sure...Why not..." The girl mused, yet her voice trailing off a bit. She sat down on the nearest seat, taking a light smell of the wine, while keeping her eyes on Basil. She couldn't detect any reiatsu based poisions, and no earth-made poisions could really kill a shinigami. Maybe this was safe after all....
