Personality: Good natured all around. Protective of his friends. Not afraid to stand up to anyone to defend what he believes in.

Appearance: Slim/Athletic build. He has a two scars on the left side of his face; the first stars on his forehead just above his eye and goes down to his jaw. The second stars on his temple and goes down to his collar bone. He has pale skin, emerald green eyes, black hair, and a tattoo on his left shoulder that is a symbol for a tempest.



Zanpakutō's Appearance: Toshi's Zanpakutō appears the same as most Zanpakutō, except for the fact that its 2 feet longer. Its sheath is midnight black and its handwrap is black over red. Its handguard looks identical to the tattoo on Toshi's shoulder [which i will upload a picture of once i get the drawing right]

Each character gets 60 skill points to assign to either:

Spirit power: 10

Speed: 15

Intelligence: 20

Fighting skill: 15

History/Background: The Gotei 13. Toshi's dream was to join them and become a shiningami. Once he was accepted into the Gotei 13 training school he was one of the most dedicated students, studying and training long hours. He always did his best and it paid off. He was accepted into second squad. He swore he would always bring honor to his squad and the Gotei 13. But, as the events began to unfold and the civil war broke out, He was torn between following his squad that had allied themselves with the very hollow he swore to destroy, or being a shiningami. Not knowing what to do he listened to his heart and did the one thing he thought he would never do, He left his squad and fled to earth. He now hides on the outskirts of Karakura Town hunting down hollows and trying to stay one step ahead of his former squad that he is sure is after him.

Rp sample: 'The captain's gone insane' he thinks as he checks cautiously outside the cave for anymore signs of pursuit. 'I think i lost them. Good...' he thinks as he stumbles a few feet into the cave and collapses to his knees, blood pouring out of his left side of his face. 'Come on Toshi, stay conscious. bandage your wounds and figure out what to do next.' The was deep, he could barely see anything out of his left eye. The wound, he received from his captain when he spoke out against the alliance with the hollows. Thats when his survival instinct took over and he ran, for the outskirts of Rukongai, into a dense forest and now to this cave. They had followed him as far as the forest, and it would only be a matter of time before they found him. 'Worse than i initially thought.' he thinks as he rips the left sleeve off his robes, 'This should do for now," he cuts the sleeve into strips and bandages his eye. 'Now, where do I go? Do I go back to Soul Society and hope one of the other squads will take me? No, i'll be dead before i make it back...Earth..no thats crazy..but..' He thinks as a smile creeps across his face. "They'll never look for me there either." he says as he leaves the cave.

First thing, you can't know your zanpakuto's name yet. That comes later.

Secondly, it's interesting with you using past storyline elements to shape your character, but I don't know how practical it is since that storyline died out before it really could do much. That previous "alliance" has basically been forgotten and abandoned.

If you choose to keep your history like that, I guess you'd have to at least start off as a rogue shinigami, since otherwise you being in a squad at rank 0 wouldn't work. (Rank 0 is the starting point for all members, and means academy for shinigami)

You can be assured that I'll be trying my best to convince you to return to the Seireitei. My character is squad 2's new captain and is understanding of people's individual circumstances.

ok sorry. i hadn't read anywhere in the forum that the story had changed. But i think i could wing it with a little editing of the history/backstory. so basically are you the new 2nd div. captain?

and if so i can change/ edit my backstory as needed.

as far as the Zanpakutō i just gave it a name. i never said that toshi knew its name lol but i'll remove it now.
