Constant Improvement (Solo)

Ri had awoke earlier this morning as he did every other morning , he always awoke before even the birds sing or the sun had time to show it’s self. He made his self a large breakfast and packed himself a small lunch and then head out of the barracks and caught sight of the mountain plateau in the far distance.

Ri looked down at his feet and saw two red bands around them both were heavier then they looked, Ri had them on to help him train his shunpo and his speed. He took a deep breath and then flash stepped twice and was out of the Seireitei then after another twelve steps he arrived back at the plateau. Ri was happy with only fourteen steps to get here a sit took twenty seven the first time.

Wasting no time Ri found the dummy he’d left behind the other day but despite his intensions the dummy’s injuries we’re to serve for Ri to save him. Ri walked about for a while trying to determine which kido he want to try , he had one in mind but he wasn’t sure how to see if it worked.

“Just try it.” A whisper from the wind called to Ri who merely smiled and looked down at his Zanpakuto.

Ri took a few deep breath and intended of concentrating his reiatsu he began suppressing it and closing it deep inside him the kido he was attempting was Bakudo seventeen energy fade , it was kido that made the use near undetectable but limited all use of reiatsu as well as shunpo and Shikai.


“Bakudo seventeen energy fade” Ri said in near a whisper and as he said it he could feel his reiatsu fade in him and even he could barely sense within him but he could feel it.

“Told you so” The whisper said again in it’s soft feminine tone. Ri smiled he’d made good progress with his Kido but wanted to try one more before he took a break from Kido and returned his focus to this fighting skills.

Ri allowed his reiatsu to flow through his body once again as he allowed his previous kido to ware off. He wasn’t sure if then next kido he was about to try would work for him, the kido was Hado twenty white crawl a very powerful and destructive kido that destroy everything around the user and could knock out anyone around with lower reiatsu then the user.

"Destruction! Surround my body! Send any around me to the realm of the the unconscious, where dreams do not reach!" Ri said speaking loudly as he gathered his reiatsu inside of him and turned into the destructive force “Hado twenty white crawl”

All Ri remember after that was a white light then waking up, he found himself lying on the ground limbs spread out in a centre of dip in the plateau recently made by the kido. Ri forced himself up and made his way over to the large boulder where he kept his bag.

He spent an hour or so eating and allowed his reiatsu to recover it’s self , he wasn’t sure how the kido knock him out but he had to try again till he got it right. He finished off all the food he’d brought himself and made his way to the centre of the plateau

“Allow your reiatsu to flow out of you don’t hold it all in” Ri’s Zanpakuto said to him in the elegant whisper.

“I’ll try” Ri said as the gather his reiatsu once again and let it build up in him but this time he allowed it to encumber the entire area around him and as he did howling wind seem to start to attack the plateau but all the wind seem blow around him as if he was in the eye of a hurricane.

“"Destruction! Surround my body! Send any around me to the realm of the the unconscious, where dreams do not reach! Hado twenty white crawl” Ri chanted again as an incredible force exploded around him making a large dent into the mountain all around him.

Ri felt utterly drained by the kido but was overjoyed he was able to use it correctly , he also notice with the lack of his reiatsu the howling winds had stopped and replaced by the normal gentile breeze

Ri waited awhile on top of the plateau resting as the last kido required a lot of concentration and reiatsu to perform so well and effect such a large area. After some time resting Ri stood up and flash stepped away to report in for any mission or patrol he was due.
