The Return (Open)

Immedietly after returning to Soul Society Eugenides was stopped by several guards. They were to escort him to the prison, but he pleaded with them to let him bring his case to the kuchiki noble house. He doubted they would accept him back even if he managed to make them listen. His pleas fell on deaf ears with the guards escorting him. He might be able to escape considering there were only four guards, but he didn't want to. What he wanted was his name cleared, he had been falsely accused and he wasn't sure the nobles would admit that they had made a mistake with some common-born like him. It was going to be a long walk through sereitei because the dungeons were on the far side.

Kaiyo had in truth just been very bored, but that kind of thing was usual for the hyper-active Captain. As such, her co-incidental run in with the guards was more to check out the interesting prisoner they were escorting. Kaiyo had never meant to be so subcoonsciously combat minded, but anyone with an unusual spiritual energy did catch her attention. Kaiyo had been watching the yelling prisoner since he'd arrived, and had decided after 10 minutes she needed to get a better look at the situation.

The short blonde girl appeared quite quickly in front of the guards. Her captains haori billowed along behind her as a faint wind swept across the ground. The guards froze in their tracks before bowing low to the 11th squad Captain. Kaiyo grinned; peering around the four guars that had surrounded the man in question as she spoke in her usually cheerful manner. 'Hey prisoner... What did ya do?' the girl's voice was polite and sweet, almost a little odd considering her heavy militant rank. The guards shuffled nervously at the question, a clear look of mild worry written along their faces.

Keeping his head bowed as he walked, Eugenides almost ran into the guard in front of him when he stopped suddenly. He looked up and immediatly noticed the captain's coat around a short girl. Strong souls came in every shape and size he remembered, so he really couldn't judge her by her size and apparant age. She was rude stopping the guards, and polite in her tone as she asked what crime he had commited. Standing up straight, and looking down right into the captain's eyes he said, "I killed the man that accused me falsely. If that is a crime, then I am guilty". He wasn't sure about this captain, or her intentions, she seemed playful, but hollows tended to play with their food before they went for the kill. He straightened himself and held his chin high, after all he was from squad 6, the honorable Kuchiki house hadn't trained him to bow his head. His shinigami robes were in ripped, and had sand in places he would never mention. Other scraps of clothing he had happened across were tied onto them to try and cover the holes. His hair was almost white from the sand that grated against his scalp.

Rashir wandered around Seireitei for a while. He wasn't really sure why, he just started walking. He had completely forgotten what he was doing before, but he didn't really care.
He eventually came close to a man pleading his case to guards, as it sounded anyway. He followed the sound of the man's pleas to the person himself. It was a group of six people. There were four guards, a prisoner, and... A captain?! Why is there a captain talking to this man?
Rashir walked closer to the group, trying to hide from the six as to hear their conversation. The captain only asked what he did, but his reply was that he killed someone. He was slightly shocked at the prisoner's words. He still stood where he was, trying to stay hidden instead of revealing himself.

It'd been a while since he'd actually reported in. With sitting in your room all day their wasn't really much to say. The day had begun just like any other from his point of view. Daylight, birds, and the usual chirping that followed their arrival, but just the same he awoke from his sleep in his usual manner. A deep yawn was first, and that was his body's version of a wake-up call. Next, the yawn would be accompanied by him wiping his eyes. Within minutes he'd finish his morning routine and continue to remain in his room for the remainder of the day, awaiting nighttime's arrival and with it, sleep, but today would be different, very different in fact. It'd started a way that he really hadn't planned. Beginning with a stroll through Seireitei it would just so happen that coincidentally he'd encounter a prisoner and Kaiyo taichou also a man named Rashir

Instantly dropping his head, it was painfully obvious that this was something he hadn't planned to encounter, but sure enough he tried to change direction he'd be spotted in an instant. Dragging his head up from the ground tiles, he'd raise his right hand slowly, creating the most awkward of expressions on his face, possibly meaning hello. "Hello...", he mumbled. "What crime have you been committed prisoner .", he continued. It'd been sometime since he'd last encountered anyone from the prison , let alone the Captain kaiyo that's taken her position and put him on this downward spiral of a career. With what looked to be a happy grimace She'd drag her left hand over her face, in an attempt to wipe away her frown, but continuing to wave , attempting another hello there after. As he drew closer to the small group it appeared as though the Captain wasn't the only company there, or perhaps he'd been away for so long that he hadn't recognized a new company.he greet Rashir immediatly as soon as he notice the conversation beetwen the captain and the prisoner


Finishing up work quickly, as he always did, he began his plod around the Guard while watching them escorting the prisoner . Walking with his spiritual pressure so low that only the most experienced of Shinigami could tell he was there without visually seeing him, he casually made his way around corners, startling idle groups of recruits and passer-by's with his sudden appearance. He wasn't gruesome-looking or anything, it's just that when they saw the badge around his left arm symbolizing Elite academy freshman , they immediately knew that was 'Minato suzunami.' They didn't know what he was. but they heard, what they believed to be rumors, that he was truly a Shinigami. They didn't want to accidentally strike a nerve by asking the truth, so their minds scurried with nervous thoughts. They didn't know what to feel when they saw him. Should they like or dislike accept or shun? They just cast the thought aside without giving an answer whenever he wasn't around, but when he was, they had no choice but to deal with the torture it gave their minds.

Kaiyo kept eye contact with the prisoner as he spoke, pondering a while his words before replying with a faint smirk, 'Well...if ya killed a bad guy you should be allowed to go'. The guards shuffled in a mild panic at the Captains suggestion, perhaps a little too worried the spontanious girl might just decide to take action on such a plan. The blonde girl opened her mouth to speak, pausing for a brief moment as she became aware of a nearby soul, too close to be anyone else, and most likely just eaves-dropping. Kaiyo began peering around for the stranger in question, apparanetly only serving to alarm the guards even more.

Kaiyo flashed a smile back at the guy, 'What did ya say your name was noble-guy?'. Kaiyo had met enough to know a knoble, a mild arrogance was in fact less clear in with the prisoner, but his clear abttle-worn story had probably beaten it out of him a bit.

'Hiya Elite Academy student guy' Kaiyo giggled lightly as Minato appeared, the short Captain just smiling at the guy. She'd seen him at one of the Academy open days, apparanetly the guy had a lot of potential, despite how weird and a bit socially awkward he was. It was odd enough for an academy student to question a prisoner, but even the guards looked quite offended at the man's question. Kaiyo sighed heavily; fed up with searching for Rashir as she simply yelled in mild annoyance, 'Can you just stop hiding and come out?! I really don't wanna play hide an seek today!'

Observing the captain's odd (to him at least) personality had him so focused, he barely heard her question. He was absorbed watching her search for something or someone hidden. "My name is Eugenides exiled from the sixth division and soul society for the murder of Rien Hada also of the sixth squad, who accused me of betraying information to enemies. I am being escorted to the prison, but I wish to plead my case before I am sentenced further for returning."

Rashir walked out of his hiding place. He was only slightly surprized that he was found out. Between his bulk and not hiding his reiatsu, he was not doing a very good job at hiding. He waited until after the prisoner replied, then said, Um... Hello, Captain. He was mildly afraid, though not showing it.
He wondered why she had changed from a sweet-sounding girl to an angry girl so quickly. I guess there's no use in making up excuses for what I was doing, is there? He made no excuses. He just stood there, waiting for whatever would happen next.

Kuroi had just been returning to the squad barracks((i havent decided which squad i belong to just yet...ill probably be in squad 4 though...)) when he noticed the mass of a student, capitan, and a prisoner and another student that just poped out of a hiding place...for a moment he just stood there...then he thought 'this couldnt go well at all' and started walking over to the odd gathering... first he addressed the students and the 11th divison captain as he finished his steath approach'alrighty here whats going on here to cause this odd gathering'

Rashir felt it was odd that so many were gathering around. Well... I guess I'll be going now... He weakly forced a laugh. He left the people there and decided he wanted to leave Soul Society for the time being. He found a way out before and he would use the same exit this time.

Oh, how the spirit loved watching the wind lead the leaves in a momentous dance over the grand, blue stage. The act was simply timeless. For many centuries, nature has been a performer like none other. Its beauty unmatched; humans, spirits, and all the other races could only watch with amazement. Intrigued by such simplicity and splendor, the soul sauntered silently to the scene. The kidou commander placed his slightly pale feet in the cool, refreshing water, letting it engulf them while his baby blue orbs set their undeserving gaze on the act at hand. He placed his hands back on the soft dirt and leaned his head back, relaxing and taking everything in. It was such a beautiful day…why waste it?

The soaring sun beamed down on him, hitting him with its powerful rays and heating his skin with a warming feeling. In such an event, he could only feel happy. He was in a serene setting that inspired art and imitation. The sultry sun, the bountiful breeze, and the whimsical water set up the picture in which Jin was plastered. Though, the picture was beautiful itself, he always did want to make the art more grand. The art, the dance, the scene, was momentous, but it could always be enhanced, nonetheless. It could be improved and made better; everything could and nothing was perfect. At least, that is what the soul was told.
he nodded and say goodbye to rashir.Then Minato would also leave soul society going to the academy again.

((OOC: Okay i got lost somewhere here and i'm not entirely sure who's still here and who's left, sorry folks))

Kaiyo stepped closer to the prisoner, looking up into his eyes for a moment, he didn't seem like a bad guy, and maybe that was just her own clouded judgement, but he at the very least wasn't crazy, so he probably had a reason, maybe even a good one for killing one of his own squad members. 'Nice to meet ya Eugenides' she grinned. Kaiyo did wonder if she could get the guy a decent hearing, the girl herself wasn't yet sure of her own Captain capabilities, but she'd never really been one for rules anyway.

Kaiyo nodded her head upwards as Rashir finally skulked from his hiding place, Kaiyo wasn't particularly mad at the guy, 'Next time ya eaves-drop, you should try and hide your reiatsu as well...otherwise its not really hiding..' she giggled. The guy seemed to lose interest once he was no longer just listening in anyway.

Kaiyo was in all fairness just confused at these peoples willingness to just approach a Captain with such a casual greeting, of course she'd never been one for formalities, but there seemed it was more like an under-lying hint of disrespect, and Kaiyo didn't like it. The girl released a bit more of her own spiritual energy, just enough to try and stop the confusion. The girl eyes Kuroi up and down in a suspicious manner, 'Who are you?'. Kaiyo's voice was soft, and in no way a threat, but she did have a very short temper, so most people noted her voice quite closely.

Kuroi relized the mistake of approching the captain so formally and especially the 11th division captain...of course he was really addressing the students which would be ok for Kuroi to address them informally not the captain but by excluding the captain he made a huge mistake. he bowed and said Kaiyo-taicho many apologies I was just asking the students subetly why they were here. i apologize for my informality as i wasnt adressing you... afterward he raised his head and said again in his formal speak which was uncharacteristic of him 'Really though Kaiyo-taicho may i inquire about what is going on here?'

Eugenides stood quietly with his guards, wondering why he was the main spectacle. Of course prisoners weren't taken around sereitei every day, but still. Some might be encouraged to act up more if they were given attention. He quietly thought about what he would do if he wanted to escape. Of course it would be impossible with the captain around, and he wasn't likely to get far even if he did manage to take down all four guards. He was sure he could take out all of the guards easily, but he pushed that cocky attitude far back in his mind. He wasn't sure what the captain had in mind detaing him, but he hoped it was better han what lay in store for him behind bars. He wasn't sure if he could or wanted to escape from there. He would have to wait, he didn't like interupting people, it just wasn't his style.

Kaiyo felt a tinge of guilt race across her spine as she watched the nervous newcomer retract his previous greeting, although it was vaguely funny to watch. The short girl smiled in a thinly veiled apologetic manner. Rubbing the back of her neck quite absent-mindedly as she thought of her response to the man's question, 'Erm...Well' the girl spun round to the prisoner. 'He's been brought here for killing his squad member after he was accused of...' Kaiyo's smile dropped, 'Well, i forgot why he killed him, but i think hehad a good reason'. Or at least a good fight.

Kaiyo bit her bottom lip for a moment, a flash of mischief running along her face as she stepped closer to Eugenides, a speck of light danced across the girl's crystal blue eyes as she spoke clearly, 'Ya know...You could escape now...i wouldn't stop ya'. Kaiyo wasn't joking, as much as she enjoyed watching the guards sweat, the girl was genuinely intrigued by the guy and she figured following him after an escape would be easier than just leaving him alone to go to prison. Kaiyo glanced over to Kuroi, smiling warmly at the guy, 'What did ya say your name was?'

Eugenides, watched the captain whos name he still did not know. When she told him that she would'nt stop him if he ran, he was suprised, especialy because she looked totaly honest. "That would get me into even more trouble than I am, and besides, where would I go?" He thought for a moment, wrinkling his brow as he always did when thinking of every possible outcome. There was really nothing for him here, he had been wrong it seemed to come back at all. The only place left for him was either hueco muendo, where the shinigami could'nt track him, or the real world, where he didn't even know to hide, and the shinigami would surely chase him. At least in hueco muendo he could do the world a favor and kill hollows. Turning to the short captain, "I am an exile, and you won't have to worry about me returning again. I wish to thank you captain, I will repay the kindness you have shown me, my life for my honor." Grabbing the arm of the guard on his left, he swung him in a circle using the momentum of the guards weight, to throw him into the other three. Then he ran off towards the south gate of sereitei.

Ehh...oh yes Kaiyo-taicho i am Kuroi Sora, unseated officer of the 4th division...he studied the prisoner before him and suddenly after a sprawl of polite speak by the prisoner to Kaiyo-taicho and suddenly the prisoner swung one of his guards and plowed him into the other three and started running south...What the!?!? Kuroi quickly ran after Eugenides shouting Stop!!! Kuroi drew his zanpaktou from his back and and with his free left hand shouted Bakuto 1 SAI!!! hopeing that would slow him down...

As he ran, he could hear the man who had introduced himself as Kuroi chasing him. He was fast, but Gen's own long strides kept him in the lead for now. Then he heard Kuroi casting kido. The first word was bakudo, so he knew it was a binder, and he didn't wait to hear which one before he jumped into the air hoping to make it to the other side of the wall that ran parallel to them on the right. He made it, but Kuroi's excellent aim still locked his arms behind him. He landed hard on his side rolling over his shoulder, and jumping up he started running again. The spell, kept him from running as fast as he had been, and he knew he had to do something before the boy caught up to him.

Kuroi knew as soon as his bakuto hit that the convict that he was gaining on him he prepared a tried and tested meathoud for delivering kidou. Kuroi cried out Bakuto 4 Hainawa and he touched his zanpaktou to the ropes, as they cast on an intercepting trajectory to the convict, and said Hado 11 Tsuzuri Raiden! and the lightning chased along the ropes before they even hit the target...

Eugenides threw himself around a corner dodging kuroi's kuroi's spell by inches, unfortunatly, those inches weren't enough as he saw that the spell had latched onto his sword. Curse the large blade he thought. Then he heard another spell being cast, damn this guy was one of those blasted spell slingers. It wasnt a bad way to go, but it wasnt good for him. The electricity was severly lessened since his sheath was wood and he wasn't naked, but it was enough to make him jerk involuntairly on the ground where he had thrown himself. He dragged himself to his feet, and concentrated on his sealed arms. He wasn't going back he had already decided to escape, and if they were going to get him at all, it was only going to be a corpse. He relaxed his entire body, and suddenly flexed his energy, breaking the restraint spell, and letting every guard within a mile know where he was. Grabbong his nodachi, he gave a mighty pull, seeing wether the energy rope would break, or bring his opponent to him.

Kuro was standing alone on top of one of the Seireitei's buildings. He didn't know what to do at the moment. Just an hour before, he'd been enjoying time in the living world with Tsukiko and a quincy whose name he had not learned. After being fetched by the Onmitsukido members, he'd been brought back to headquarters where they informed him that as of now, he was Squad 2's new captain.

Kuro had thought it was a joke at first. It was true that he was strong. Very strong for a fourth seat, but that was because he'd never tried hard to advance in ranks and just let things come to him. This new promotion was breath taking. He continued to stare down at his new white uniform with disbelief, like all of this was a dream. He suddenly felt distant reiatsus flaring below and decided to check it out. Leaping from the building, he flash stepped continuously until he was standing on the wall overlooking two shinigami beneath. Not knowing what was going on, whether this was a spar or a violent feud, Kuro decided to step in and stop it before somebody got hurt.

Flash stepping from the wall, Kuro drew his blade and sliced the kido rope connecting the two shinigami and took a firm stance between them both. He may have still been uncomfortable with it, but he was a captain now and had to play his part.

"What's going on here? I hope nothing too serious." he glanced back and forth between both shinigami looking for answers.

'Ahh Crap...that could probably have gone better' Kaiyo mused in annoyance to herself, after having watched the events unfold. Kaiyo had quite possibly not considered her words so greatly, and the girl made a mental note of that for future reference. With a mild sigh Kaiyo flash stepped next to Kuro, grinning with as little guilt as she could muster. The short Captains eyes flickered between the two shinigami. Kaiyo wasn't that into the rule book (although it was handy to sit at particularly high desks) but the girl was very torn. Of course admitting she'd just let a prisoner go would be a tad tricky to explain, but in actuality, all Kaiyo had done was not acted fast enough to stop the guy.

The girl ruffled the back of her hair as nodded to the 2nd squad Captain, 'Oh hey Kuro, nice of you to join us..I was just about to...catch that guy' she pointed lightly towards Eugenides with an apologetic expression. Kaiyo did in truth feel sorry for Eugenides, and had every intention of letting the guy go, but she knew it wouldn't be that easy...especially not now. Kaiyo smiled, a re-assuring kind of smile, one aimed towards an old friend, who'd recently been promoted. 'And Kuroi here was just helping out' she added. A mild wind swept across the courtyard, as the guards came rushing back to the prisoner; Kaiyo's captain haori fluttered blissfully in the wind as the new Captain tried to sink into her role.

Kuroi had stopped paying attention as soon as the Crawling ropes were cut and started meditating drawing up a very large sum of reatsu he started focusing it into his hands and said slowly and quietly aloud

“Destruction! Surround my body! Send any around me to the realm of the the unconscious, where dreams do not reach!"

he pause to draw up more power and Shouted right after Kaiyo taicho said 'helping out'

HADO 20 WHITE CRAWL!!!

and as he cast the kidou he looked up to see 2 captains... behind them the guards colapsed while half a second of shackling the Prisoner.

Oh god what have i done?

Eugenides, stopped short when he saw the white coat covering the back of the man in front of him. He wouldn't go back to prison, but he couldn't escape any captain. Then the small girl captain also arrived, well he had tried to escape. The new captain of the 2nd squad he gathered from the symbol on his coat, didn't seem to know the situation, and it was safest if he just didn't try anything.
Then he heard kuroi shout out his spell, and he instictively drew his sword put it in a guard position in between him, the captain of the 2nd squad, and whatever kido that crazy kid was firing.
