His heart rate was up, the miles kept going by and the american rock music kept blaring in his ears, Kaz was was in his own world. He was out for his early morning run, but this morning he decided to take a different route. He ran deeper into the woods than he had before. Maybe if I get far enough off the beaten path I can actually train that technique.. he thought as he ran. After a few more minutes of running, the path he was on opened up into a clearing with a small lake in the middle. This is perfect he thought as he came to a stop. he walked around the area, trying to get an idea of how large of a space he had to work with. Satisfied that he had enough room to work with, he walked back to the center of the clearing. He took a relaxed stance, feet shoulder width apart, arms at his sides, fingers extended but relaxed, Ok, he thought as he closed he eyes and steadied his breathing and heart rate. Dark blue streams of energy began to flow towards him, Focus... he thought, and the energy shifted its course towards his hands and feet. The energy streams began to swirl and spiral around his hand and feet and ever increasing speeds. His eyes shot open as he clenched his fists and shouted "JIMMU!" The energy flash a extremely bright white for a split-second and and faded, revealing a dark blue armor, made of energy. Without a second thought he took his fighting stance and went through his katas. He punched, kicked, elbowed, and kneed the air around him, and every attack the armor flashed and a loud crack could be heard, as small bursts of energy Ionized the air around his strikes.

He was sweating. His heart-rate was up even higher than before. He could barely hear his music over the sound of his heartbeat. He was tired. He was smiling. He was able to keep his Jimmu up for a whole hour, he could never do that back in Okinawa. He walked over to one of the trees at the edge of the clearing, sat down, and leaned against it. He slowly began to pull his gloves off as he thought I wonder how back the damage is... To his amazement his forearms and hands were unscathed. What the... he thought as he scrambled to take his shoes off. He was shocked again, His legs were fine. No way! He thought excitment pushing the weariness of training aside. He jumped to his feet quickly and jogged over to the edge of the water. If Jimmu doesn't hurt me anymore...then I wonder. He thought as he stepped into the water, getting just deep enough so the water was barely touching his knees. He closed his eyes, slowed his breathing and relaxed his body. Ok, I've used a good amount of energy training Jimmu today... he thought, So I need to recharge, and then gather extra ki for Kiyoshi Ikari. He slowly lifted his arms, palms facing the sky, to shoulder level. This time the energy streams flowed in great numbers, and faster than before. His mind was focused. The streams of energy swirled and spiraled in towards him, and a faint dark blue aura surrounded his body. The water around him began to swirl as well, being moved by the sheer amount of energy he was drawing in. Slowly he brought his hands together at his left side, his left foot sliding backwards and planting itself. His hands were slightly apart and formed a sphere-like appearance. Suddenly the energy shifted, instead of flowing towards his body it spiraled inside his hands, and as more and more energy flowed in, a dark blue sphere formed. His eyes opened, and he grit his teeth More energy he though and the energy began of spiral into his hands like a storm. Suddenly pain shot through his body, as arcs of lightning shot out of the energy sphere in all directions. His hand shifted forward and he shouted "KIYOSI IKARI!" A Cone of blazing dark blue energy ripped through the air. The attack was devastating, Vaporizing everything in its path. | |

He stood there still in his stance, small streams of smoke riseing from his arms and chest. Blood dripping from a few small cuts on his arms and hands. He was breathing heavy. His vision was blurry. His whole body was shaking. And, He was still smiling. Nine times.... , he thought. ...Before I could barely do that three times a day... , His determined smile widened, One...more...time.... was the last thought he had before he collapsed. His body felt heavy. His mind was numb. He knew he over did it and he didn't care. He had beaten his old record, and he didn't take nearly as much damage as usual.
He slowly stood, his legs and arms felt like rubber. He walked slowly over to his shoes, put them, and his gloves on. He walked slowly back to his apartment. "Now that was training" he said outloud.
