Personality: Draze is usually quite subdued. He doesn't joke around excessively, but prefers to remain silent for the conversation, passing short, often humorous (with varying degrees of success) comments on the situation or people involved. Draze dislikes depressing talk, and will often attempt to steer a conversation away from a sore subject, much to the chagrin of other, more serious people. Should a painful, annoying, or infuriating event happen, Draze will seek out help to deal with it, as he dislikes solo performances.

Draze has black hair that is cropped close to the face. Green highlights run the length of it at even intervals, but he swears thats his natural colour. He has blue eyes. Draze is a rather forgetfull charecter, as except for his hair, he has no notable features. He is of medium build and medium height.

Sealed Zanpakutō :
The Sealed form of Hogaryou is seen to be thus. The blade is a normal, uncoloured, daito-sized katana. Its only defining feature is a small straight-edged hook on the end of the blade. The cross guard, also standard shaped, is black. The hilt is wrapped in dark green reptilian leather.

History/Background:
Draze was born to a middle class family in America, and lived in the suburbs of New York his whole life. He was an unadventurous personality, and his life would have been one of sedentary normalcy, were it not for the drunken driver who ran him over a few weeks after Draze turned 17. As a plus, Draze wandered for 2 weeks before a shinigami soul buried him. Finding himself in the slums of Soul Society, still shell-shocked over his death, and vainly trying to remember his previous life, he lived as best he could.
He was saved by a procession. As two captains made their way through the slums, their reitsu washing over their surroundings, and Draze felt an intense hunger, which he had forgotten he could feel. He collapsed, and was slowly brought to his feet by an shinigami, who offered him a fruit.
Whisked away to shinigami academy, he spent ten years mastering kidou, swordsmanship, survival tactics and lastly, the art of calling forth his zanpaktou. Having mastered all this, he left Shinigami academy, and was assigned to the 9th division as one of the lowest ranking shinigami. Since his stay he has not released shikai, and has made little headway in that department. Most have forgotten him, convinced he will stay a nameless nobody forever.

Rp sample:
Draze exhaled, stood up as straight as he could, and closed his eyes. Breathing in, he let his arms fall limp to his side. He stood there, in his own dark world, with nothing but his breathing and the far-off babble of other 9th division shinigami. Then, with a burst of speed, he rose up on the balls of his feet, brought one hand to the hilt of his sword, while the other grasped the scabbard. In a single movement, he had drawn his sword, swung his body around, and sliced with his sword. There was little resistance, and Draze cursed inside. He peeked open one eye, and surveyed the wooden post ahead of him. It had been pristine, smooth and polished at the beginning of the training exercise, and remained mostly so, except for small nicks created by his attempts at reaction slicing.
“The problem is,” Draze thought, studying his zanpakuto, “this little blade at the end stops me from properly slicing.” Draze did not want to admit to himself that quite a few of the swings had missed the post wildly. Draze looked at the other posts in the training room, also new, but worn and splintered already. They filled him with morbid self-pity.
“I will never be a shinigami.” Moped Draze in his head.

Just as a note regarding your character background/history there; i'm afraid everyone starts as Rank 0, which means you begin at the Shinigami Academy, rather than being placed in a squad immediately
