A Friendly Meeting (Only Tenma Post here, please. Others, view at your own free will)

Kaoseu was at a loss for what to do. He was done with classes early today, so he made his way to the sparring grounds, hoping to find someone to practice with. Seeing no one worth his interest, he began practicing kata on his own, using only one blade, keeping his other katana hidden. He pivoted inplace, drawing his blade in a tight arc around his body, his movements graceful and lithe, then arched his back and leapt into the air, gracefully flipping, and landed on the hilt of his blade as it plunged into the ground. He crouched and grabbed his hilt then flipped off. As he did so, he angled his body and turned his shoulders hard, spinning him around an axis so fast it kicked up a small whirlwind and his blade seemed to cut through the air.

He landed, not even breaking a sweat. There were three other people there, all of which had stopped, watching him train. He yawned and connected it with his trademark sigh, then looked at the drifting clouds above him. He couldn't help but smile sadly, feeling again, quite lonely. "God, once again, I need a training partner worth fighting..." he said to himself.

*Tenma arrived on the field and drew his blood red zanpakuto moving swiftly around the field. Others would draw their swords at his sudden intrusion and he moved fast, and with a smile as he disarmed them all without actually harming them. He then ran toward Kaoseu thinking he was just like the other people. He swung his zanpakuto with a midsection strike and swung hard and fast.*

Kaoseu said nothing and didn't even look down, just deftly and quickly switched his blade to a reverse grip and slammed it down on Tenma's oncoming blade. This effectively drove the blade down as he jumped and made his body horizontal, lashing out with his legs, aiming a dropkick straight for his chest.
"Finally! Gimme your all, stranger. Kaoseu Enjel! Remember the name!" he called excitedly.

*Tenma rolled his left shoulder back, letting the drop kick go above his now diagnaol chest. He then thrusted with his zanpakuto, aiming for Kaoseu's dominant arm. He then let go of his hilt with his one free hand and pointed a finger at Kaoseu before saying "Bakudo Number 1 Paralyze!" He then set his sword in a reverse grip and swung at Kaoseu's legs.*

1. Paralyze

Effect: Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
Incantation: Unknown/None
Creator: Canon

Kaoseu wasn't an idiot. His years of gymnastics had taught him to be perfectly aware and in sync with his body while airborn. He twisted sharply in the air, avoiding Tenma's oncoming blade. He was now facing the ground and leaned forward hard, his foot connecting with Tenma's chin. He finished his rotation, twisting again so he landed facing Tenma and stood directly in front of his own blade, which he picked up with his still bound hands. "Kidou, eh? I don't know any, but this ought to be fun. I always wanted to say, 'I'll fight you with both hands behind my back!' and now look where I am!" he said, grinning fiercely.

*Tenma took the hit and stumbled back a bit, a small trail of blood coming out of the side of his mouth. He then smirked evilly as he looked to Kaoseu and spoke in a clear voice. "Expel the weapons of war! Disarm my opponent! Hado Numer 5 Disarm!" He then spoke again and held his sword point toward Kaoseu as he did. "Engulfed by the need of want come forward Hado number 2 Reel!" He yelled as he hled his blade firmly in place. "Get out of this one!" He yelled happily as the kido's took effect"

5. Disarm
Effect: Sends an invisible pulse from the user's hand that sends the enemy's Zanpakutou or weapon flying out of their hand. It is able to strike from a long distance, and it moves so fast that the enemy is usually unable to guard or dodge it.
Incantation: "Expel the weapons of war! Disarm my opponent!"

2. Reel

Effect: Brings the target in closer to the caster.
Incantation: Engulfed by the need of want come forward

Kaoseu's hands suddenly relenquished his blade of their own accord and he felt a pull towards the stranger. He couldn't help himself and dug his heels into the ground, only to be lifted off the ground to flow head over heels at Tenma. As he drew closer, and before he came within sword range, he drew his legs up and he nudged his other, hidden katana from its sheath, taking hold of it as he continued to revolve, drawing it from his sheath as he came down hard and fast on Tenma, the sharpened edge of his blade facing away from his back, so that the inertia would bring it down on him, hopefully unsuspectingly. "Ha!!! Don't have to! You gotta do better than that!" he growled as he bore down uncontrollably on Tenma, using his own kido to his advantage.

Tenma caught the movement of Kaoseu's hand and immediately knew he didn't want him getting closer. "Hado number 4 White Lightning, Hado number 1 Push" Tenma said under his breath, shooting a white bolt of lighting at Kaoseu and pushing him away instead of toward him. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat Bakudo number 9 Strike!" Tenma called as he attempted to paralyze Kaoseu's entire body with the kido.

Despite his earlier remarks about not knowing any, kido, Kaoseu knew he would have to renounce his bluff. This guy was getting annoying, using nothing but kido. As he flew back he leaned backwards and spread his legs, letting the White Lightning pass through them as he turned himself facing away from Tenma and leaned his head forward, looking through his spread legs, making sure his hands faced Tenma and shouted, "Bakudo Number 4, Crawling Rope!" hopefully disabling his opponents arm movements. He then shouted, before he flipped back over and while his opponent shouted his incantation, "Hado Number 4, White Lightning!" at this, he lost a slight bit of balance from the rebound, and was surrounded in a bright red glow after which all feeling in his body seemed to extenguish with a suddenty, and he fell to the ground sloppily, rolling up beside his blades, his face towards Tenma, unable to move.

Tenma was hit by the White Lightning. However due to both of their low experience and strength he was only injured on a moderate scale. He then began half walking and half limping to Kaoseu's paralyzed form. He then put his foot to Kaoseu's neck and spoke quietly "I think I win friend."

Kaoseu felt the foot down on his neck, then realized, he felt it. He then decided enough was enough, and began chanting under his breath so low as Tenma could not hear, "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini. Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat." and at the same time, he broke his way free of the mediocre binding on his arms, swiftly grabbing Tenma's injured foot and holding him there as he pointed up a hand and shouted, "I think it's a draw at best, friend! Way of Binding Number 9, Strike!" effectively paralyzing him and yanked his leg from beneath him, then rolled away, unable to get up at the moment as he watched Tenma fall as well, grinning.

Tenma looked at Kaoseu with an annoyed expression on his face. He didn't like ending things in draws...ever...it annoyed him greatly. However now he was in a bad predicament. "I don't like ending things in draws...But now I'm curious..who are you exactly? I never did ask and now I wonder...Who are you? Whats your name? How old are you?...How did you die? And how long ago?" He began asking curiously as he looked at Kaoseu.

Kaoseu grinned as he looked at his opponent as well. He didn't like ending in a draw either, but it was unacceptable for him to lose, in his opinion. He thought about the questions that had jut been fired off at him and laughed into the dirt, then replied, "My name, as I said while we fought, is Kaoseu Enjel," he began, scrunching up his face as he tried to remember the details to the answers of the other questions, "I'm... well, I died at 15... and I'm 117 now... and I died... by a gunshot to the forehead... from some guy my supposed girlfriend cheated on me with..." he finished, still trying to make things straight in his head. He was beginning to gain a bit more strength andstood shakily, picking up a blade. "And might I ask you the same questions? And please, be quick about it. I don't like ending things in draws either, so I wanna finish this like men; sword to sword. Whaddya say, huh?" he asked, slipping into the slang and tone he'd picked up from Captain Kaiyo.

Tenma smirked as he felt his body suddenly have movement again he kept himself perfectly still however so that Kaoseu would not notice. "My name is Tenma Yamato. I said at the age of 17 but Im actually 117. I died defending my girlfriend from a gun shot and woke up here." He replied as he sweat dropped slightly. "Could you help me up possibly? I don't like being on the ground like this..." He said a bit sheepishly.

Kaoseu was smarter than to fall for coming close to an opponent, no matter how weak they seemed. "Hm. I ain't gonna help you up. I hadto get up on my own. If you're too weak to even accomplish that, you should go back to Rukongai and rot. This place ain't for weaklings. Now gettup and grab yer blade. Or 'll finish you off while yer on the ground, which ain't no fun no way." he replied coldly.

Tenma suddenly turned his head away from Kaoseu...he then began to shake softly...as if he was crying...he then spoke softly...hardly making a sound "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat" He then turned quickly and directed the kido at Kaoseu, shooting up quickly and holding his zanpakuto against his throat. He would then push just enough to draw a small amount of blood.

As Tenma turned over, Kaoseu ducked out of his field of vison and behind a tree about 2 feet away, not trusting this guy one bit. He wasn't one to fight by the blade, instead prefering to use kido, the cheap bastard. Kaoseu was hidden behind the tree at the moment, and as soon as Tenma finished, or when he estimated, he jumped out and rushed at where he thought he would be, only to find him standing where he just was a moment ago. He stood there and coughed, loudly and purposefully, waiting for him to turn around.

Tenma turned around immediately began chanting "Bakudo Number 1 Paralyze!". He then ran toward Kaoseu with his blade drawn, swinging high with a powerful blow. He was prepared to dodge any counter however, and thrust with his zanpakuto. He began to carefully watch his opponents movements, just in case.

Kaose had been expecting a form of paralysis and kept a tight hold of is blades as his arms were forced behind his back. He turned one blade to rest over a shoulder and turn his head to the side, letting Tenma's strike land on the blade as it nicked his neck from force. Kaoseu jumped and spun, aiming his other blade for Tenma's gut, as it was still facing down. "Stop hidin' behind that damned kido and grow a pair, fight me head on!" he roared.

Tenma spun to the side and dodged the strike and slammed his blade hard into the blade Kaoseu had against his shoulder. He then attemped to kick him hard in the stomach, channeling some of his reiatsu into the strike. Tenma would then lift one finger and place against Kaoseu's shoulder as he said "Hado Number 4 White Lightning" and activated the attack.

Kaoseu took the hit to his blade, deepening the cut there. He felt his shoulder shift ever so slightly as the last kido disipated. He kept his arms behind his back in the same position, keeping it to his advantage. He was formulating a plan when he felt Tenma's reiatsu infused kick ram into his gut and heard the last syllable of the kido and then a searing pain as he was launched back by the dual forces, landing in the dirt 16 feet away, a dollar coin sized hole in his shoulder. He was lucky there was intense heat, which had cauterized the wound before any blood was lost.

Kaoseu lay in the dirt, face first, laughing an uncontrallable, spine-chilling laugh. He felt the raw adrenaline pumping through his veins as shakily rose onto his knees. From there he stood and swayed lightly for a moment, then cocked his head to the side sharply, popping his aching neck. He looked back at Tenma, an eerily calm grin stitched to his face as his mind moved at a whir. He rushed at Tenma, leaning slightly forward, and connected his blades, using the abrubpt bouncing motion from his run to disguise the movement.

At the last second, he put his blades in front of him and slammed them into the ground. He used his momentum to pull off a perfect pole vault, rising in the air and above Tenma. As he rose, he disconnected the half of his two-blade that wasn't stuck in the ground. Like a classic pole vaulter, he turned his body in the air to where he was facing the ground and Tenma. He scrunched his body tightly together, drawing his knees up to his chest to make it easier to mneuver midair as his arms were tucked close as well, blade pointed down and between his legs as he fell high speed at Tenma.

Tenma quickly spoke as he raised his arms right above him. "May the bucklers of the Holy Knight grace my forearms! May the boots of ten tons grace my feet! May these Angel's Arms hold me in my place so I may stand steady against all odds Bakudo number 7 Steadfast!" He called as his arms filled with kidou energy and let the attack hit. It did not break his guard, but it move him a few inches. Tenma then reached out and reached for the hilt of Kaoseu's sword bringing hide forward in a stabbing motioned toward the same dollar coin sized hole he had left in him just moments ago.

Kaoseu shouted with inhuman glee as he rolled forward, letting his blade get taken ahold of and rolling over Tenma's blade, but not without injury. He felt the other Shinigami's blade stab into his back, tearing a 2 inch long gash in it, although it wasn't too deep. As he rolled, he arched his back and straightened his legs with force and a bit of reiatsu, kicking Tenma hard in the back while he blocked his blade and swung with the other, making it nearly impossible to dodge. He used the pressure from Tenma's back to roll forward, towards his other blade which he grabbed hold of on his roll, pulling it free of the dirt, he turned around, kneeling and waited.

Tenma tossed kaoseu's blade blade behind him "Hado number 1 Thrust" He called as he pointed at it and caused it to shoot behind him and stick deep into a nearby tree. He then moved closer to Kaoseu, going slowly and carefully. When he got within range he swung his blade in a diagnol angle going from Kaoseu's left shoulder down to his right hip. He would then jump off his dominant leg and attempt to kick him with his other, as he reversed his blades direction and move up in another slash.

Kaoseu merely stuck his blade up and parried the first blow, then as Tenma went into the air, he pushed down on the opposing blade with all his might, forcing it down and disrupting Tenma's kick midflight. Kaoseu would then reach up and grab Tenma's leg and push it down as he stepped on Tenma's blade arm and held his blade at his face.
