Momo had expressed her wish to have an actual fight to improve her training, and Kaiyo had offered to help her out. So accompanied by Kaiyo, Momo entered the sparring grounds and chose a space at the edge so that fewer people could watch. She handed a wooden Bokken to kaiyo, and keeping one for herself she turned around and walked a good distance from kaiyo before turning to face her.
Momo readied her stance and concentrated all her focus into Kaiyo's eyes Ready when you are she smirked.

Kaiyo followed Momo to the far arena, she wasn't entirely sure why Momo had chosen the area farthest away from the entrance, but Kaiyo didn't mind too much so she just shrugged off the idea. She took the wooden sword from Momo happily and walked slowly to the other end of the arena. Kaiyo was going to fight with everything she had, she took a deep breath and tried to release her spiritual energy along her bokken.
Kaiyo watched as Momo prepared herself and called to Kaiyo, Ready when you are. Kaiyo smiled back and replied, 'Okay then, good luck Momo'. Kaiyo gripped her sword tightly and focused on hitting hard and fast. She began running forward to Momo, her sword out in front of her, a few metres before reaching her friend Kaiyo jumped in the air and raised her sword above her head. She stared straight into Momo's eyes, trying to anticiapte her block and counter.

Hello ladies, I'm elven an admin here. Pleased to meet you. Because Momo didn't do more than open the scene and set her stance I can't give her a point yet. But I'd like to say it is a solid opening post. I look forward to seeing more of this duel from you.

Momo observed Kaiyo carefully as she readied herself and jumped into the air, seeing that Kaiyo was heading straight for her from above, she decided that it would be best to attack her at the same height rather than atempt to block an attack from above in which she was at a definite disadvantage. Still looking into Kaiyo's eyes, she used shunpo to move diagonally to the right, then looking at Kaiyo through her left eye, she turned her head to face her, raised her sword adjacent to her body and jumped into the air in an atempt to swipe at Kaiyo's left side and knock her out of the air.

Kaiyo knew Momo wasn't going to go easy on her, but she hadn't expected her to move so quickly, Momo's attack caught the girl off guard and gave Kaiyo little time to react, she only managed to move her sword her side at the last moment, not putting her weight behind the block Kaiyo was knocked out of the sky.
She tumbled along the floor at speed and dug her sword into the ground to grin to a halt, Kaiyo stood up a bit angry, she tried as hard as she could to turn her anger into energy, she focused her mind on her movement and her attacks only, ignoring all other thoughts. Kaiyo used shunpo to behind Momo, she swung her sword around as hard and fast she could, aiming for the girls shoulder.

Kaiyo you can not gain anymore points in spirit power from this thread, but i wont lock it. And i ask that you keep the rp up so momo can finish please. Thanks

Momo saw kaiyo disappear but she couldn't react fast enough to block the attack and only had time to turn around, facing Kaiyo she was knocked back by the strike to her shoulder and bent down to one knee. Lifting her sword back up in front of her body with her arm outstretched, she didn't wait for Kaiyo to make the next move, instead while facing the floor down on one knee, she muttered to herself Oh ruler, mask of flesh and blood, all creations of the universe, fluttering of the wings, ye who bears the name of man! Truth and temperance, strike but slightly your claw upon this wall which feigns ignorance of sin. Hadou 33, Soukatsui! She lifted her head and looked up at Kaiyo while she finished the incantation, she aimed straight at Kaiyo's body so that in the very least, she could knock her off balance.

Kaiyo had landed her hit on Momo and while she was mentally congratulating herself a blast or blue energy had appeared from what she thought was nowhere. Momo had stayed on her knees with her head down for a long time, Kaiyo had just assumed she was annoyed about being hit, this was until she looked up with a smirk on her face after shooting a powerul kidou spell before Kaiyo, reacting the only way she knew how, Kaiyo jumped into the air, only just avoiding the attack. Kaiyo was not happy, had she knownm they were using kidou spells in their sparr, she would have done the same thing as Momo, but before her. She landed to the ground as gracefully as possible, she had managed to dodge most of the attack, it was just her foot which was now quite badly injured.
Kaiyo stared over at Momo and tightened the grip on her sword, she ran up to Momo and aimed a flurry of attacks at her, she swung her sword from left to right, she lunged it towards Momo and even included a few kicks. Kaiyo wasn't usually an angry person, she just hated the idea of losing.
