Himawari sighed as she leant upon her own hands, waiting for her instructor to pass out the test papers. Advanced Hollow Instructions was not her favourite class in the world, but at least she was good at it. She looked over at her neighbour, the blonde haired, blue eyed guy she’d previously done some training with. She looked at his face, and her eyes widened in surprise as he gave her a casual smile. She’d always thought of him as a rather nervous character when it came to tests, having seen him drowning in his own sweat through the last exam they’d experienced. She turned as the paper was placed before her, and looked up at the instructor, who was now standing at the front of the class. “You may begin,” he stated, and the room was suddenly filled with the sound of many pieces of paper being turned over. Himawari looked down at question 1. What is encroachment, and its indications? Simple enough, Himawari thought and began to write. Encroachment is the process of a plus spirit transforming into a Hollow. It can first be indicated by the erosion of the plus’ Chain of Fate, a process which usually takes around a year to complete. Another symptom towards the end of the process is an obvious increase in appetite as the spirit begins to feel an increasing emptiness before the heart is lost.Ok, Himawari smiled, onto question 2. Describe the most powerful class of Menos. The most powerful class of Menos are the Vasto Lords. Compared to Gillian and Adjuchas, the numbers of Vasto Lords are considerable smaller, for the pure reason that the strength of a Vasto Lord greatly exceeds both. They are considered to be stronger than the average captain-class shinigami, and appear to closely resemble humans. It is speculated that approximately ten Vasto Lords could completely defeat Soul Society. The test dragged on for well over an hour, delving deep into the various classes of Hollow and their abilities. Himawari breathed a huge sigh of relief as they were instructed to end the test, and were dismissed. She knew that such things were very important, but God they could drag for far too long.

((Thank you, that's very kind of you to say)) Himawari sat underneath the peach tree, surrounded by a large assortment of her classmates. Their teacher had tipped them off to an early morning quiz the next day, and everyone was determined to pass. Himawari herself was engrossed in a book, while her classmates all shot questions at each other at random, in a bizarre attempt to improve everyone’s knowledge, and point out who was most likely to fail. Talk about killing two birds with one stone, Himawari glanced upwards as one hot-headed guy shot up at the accusation that one of his answers was wrong, while an equally hot-headed student shot up as well, accusing him of being an idiot. “Can you both shut up?” Himawari exclaimed, “Some of us are actually trying to study here, and you two arguing like a pair of male baboons in heat is not helping the tension.” Both looked at her. “What are you studying for?” One asked. “Yeah,” the other nodded in agreement, “I thought you always did really well on tests and stuff.” Himawari sighed, “I do. And how did you think the answers appeared in my head? Magically? I study like this a lot you know. And not just when we have an exam the next day.” She scowled at them both, “Now if you don’t mind, I have a lot more studying to do, and frankly if you continue further, I’m going to put you both through a wall.” The two students looked between themselves, and then looked at her, as if wondering to themselves if she’d actually go through with it. They sat down quietly, clearly deciding it just wasn’t worth taking the risk. Himawari smiled as she began the next chapter, Quincies, a highly spiritually aware set of humans, the Quincy is a proud tradition that can be passed down through either family groups or those whom are deemed worthy students. Despite the high recognition of this tradition, the Quincies have dwindled in numbers for many centuries now...

| Himawari watched with great intent, sitting in the window of her dormitory, looking over one of the academy sparring fields. Two young men duelled beneath her, moving quickly across the field; exchanging blow for blow, Kidou for Kidou. She watched carefully, examining the battle carefully. She could already tell from the distance she was at, that the first fighter, whom she silently referred to as the Limper, had exactly as his nickname indicated; a weakness in the right foot. His landings upon it were unbalanced, and the fact he was struggling to counter it indicated that the wound was quite recent. The other one, whom would now and forever, been known as Cat-face, for the strange whisker-like moustache that was growing upon his face, was apparently aware of this fact as well, constantly attempting to knock Limper on to his wounded leg. She sighed, this was such a mistake. Making an enemy aware that you know of his weaknesses will only make the enemy defend himself better. A better tactic would be to use a surprise attack on your opponent, catching his weakness then. That’s how you’d ensure a quick defeat. She continued to watch, her eyes fixated upon the battle. Cat-face was focusing far too much on his offensive and was completely missing the subtle developments in Limper’s defence. Because Cat-face was continually attacking on the basis that Limper had a wounded foot, he was completely missing the fluctuating levels of reiatsu that Limper was focusing down towards his foot. Within the next few moves, Limper was most likely going to attempt a rather impressive jump, one that would completely catch Cat-face off guard. Himawari sighed. Some people just didn’t know how to fight properly.

My appologies, but you need to add a little bit to this post, please. We've a minimum word requirement of 200. Please edit in another line or two and then bump this thread for attention. It's a fun post to read though. I like that you demonstrate her intelligence in an out-of-classroom setting

((Ok, done, and I'm sorry, but I have a new post as well)) Many people often told that Himawari that the scariest thing she would probably ever have to face in her entire life would be a top-three Espada in an extremely bad move. Well Himawari had found something that scared her even more, though if anyone ever suggested this to her, they would be systematically knocked unconscious. This overwhelming terror that had begun to plague Himawari’s mind was the excruciatingly painful thing known as exams. That’s right; exams. Himawari was greatly looking forward to graduating, of finally being out of this crazy place that was called an academy, and out among the Gotei 13 doing something she enjoyed. But she hated the prospect of exams; just for the simple fact that her classmates all suddenly became twice as insane as they had been for the rest of the year. As a result, Himawari had been forced to revise with the one being in the world she wished to punch more than anyone else in the entire world. She sat at the front desk as Daisuke-senpai went over her notes with her. “Come on,” he smiled up at her, “Does the great Himawari-Chan really not know the answer?” “Don’t patronise me,” Himawari exclaimed, before sighing, “Is the answer Garganta?” Daisuke’s smirk disappeared as he looked down at her flash card. “Lucky guess,” he muttered, before whipping out the next one, “Ok, this one’s harder. What is the name of a hollow technique that hardens the user’s reiatsu, and fires it 20 times faster than a Cero?” Himawari smiled herself, as she leant back in her seat. “That one’s easy,” She exclaimed, “It’s Bala. It’s not as powerful as a Cero, but the increased speed can cause it to do some major damage.” Daisuke-senpai frowned at her. “How do you get all these?” he asked, “Do the facts kind of live in your brain? Because when I’m in class, stuff generally just goes in one year and out the other.” “I like studying,” Himawari replied, “I want to go far in Soul Society, and I just want to do the very best that I can. Come on, next card.” Daisuke rolled his eyes. “Fine, fine,” he exclaimed, turning to the next flash card in the pile, “Ok. Next card coming up.”

Himawari now paced her dorm room, desperately reciting facts over and over again in her head. She was so close to graduating she could taste it, but she was never going to get there is she wasn’t absolutely dead on in her tests. “Ok,” she muttered to herself, “Quincy. Line of spiritually aware humans, who were originally a combination of survivors of hollow attacks, and families of those who had been lost to hollows. Despite being endowed with spiritual abilities, the Quincy are essentially human and reside in the world of the living. Due to a period of extermination by Shinigami almost 500 years ago, the Quincy are a slowly rebuilding race. They gain power by... by....” Himawari let out a great cry of frustration, as she raced back over to her notes. She shuffled through each individual paper, looking for the one that would provide her with the answer she needed. She picked up the right one and quickly scanned through. “...By drawing on spiritual particles in the surrounding area. In contrast to Shinigami, a Quincy’s choice of a weapon is a bow, rather than a sword, drawing a distinctive line between the two. A Quincy typically summons a bow through an artefact known as a Quincy Cross.” Himawari sighed; how was she supposed to get all this into her head before her exam? No, she couldn’t let her nerves get the best of her. Himawari stood straight back up again, and began pacing once more, determined to pass.

((I'm sorry I know it's double post, but I hope you can forgive me. I just had to get these posts out, I'm just so close to graduating it's killing me)) Himawari sat quietly at her desk, hoping that this was all going well for her. She’d been going over everything for months; every fact, every detail all collected and stored within her mind. She couldn’t afford to fail at this point. She watched as the examiner made his way around the class, passing out individual test papers. It seemed to take so long, like an eternity went by between the moment that first paper was placed down, and the last. Himawari’s eyes fixated upon the examiner, until he signalled for them to start, and then attention turned straight to her exam. 1. Other than Cero, name one other types of Hollow attack: Bala 1a. Describe the identifiable characteristics of this Attack: A concentration of reiatsu on the fist of the hollow, not as powerful as a cero, but moves 20 times faster. 2. What are Fraccion?: The hollows in particular servitude to another hollow, most commonly an Espada... The exam seemed to go on for hours, each question getting more and more difficult; going over details such as identifying characteristics of particular hollow attacks, the various weapons used by Quincy, even the laws of Seireitei. Himawari had never felt so mentally drained in her entire life. And as she made her way out of the exam, she leant up against the outside wall, “I’m so going to the White Pig.”

I'm going to give both a +1. The stat increase is for the first post my dear as i applaud your use of the Bleach Wiki. For the second however i could not award any, i do not feel that answering two questions (one of which i'm sure you used in a previous post for Intelligence) warrants it.

((OK, going in for a second try, fingers crossed)) Himawari sat outside, urgently waiting for the results of her test. The tree upon which she sat under shifted softly in the breeze. Some of her closest friends from the academy sat around her, some reading through study books for exams still uncompleted, others, like Himawari, all speculating the results of the exam. “What was the answer for number 17?” one young man asked, “That one about how Hollows became Arrancar or something?” Himawari sighed. “Arrancar occur when Hollows remove their masks in an attempt to gain more power,” she explained, “Their appearance resembles that of a shinigami, usually with some remains of the mask left, and their true power, which becomes known as a Resurrection, is sealed with their Zanpakutō, similar to the shikai or bankai of a shinigami.” She looked at him, “Why? What did you put?” “You don’t want to know,” he exclaimed flopping back on to the grass. Himawari sighed. Himawari looked upwards through the branches. That exam really had been tough. When she’d been asked to describe the uses of Soul candy, she had completely forgotten to mention the Spearhead project on modified souls, or that the idea had originally been developed by Kisuke Urahara. She felt like such an idiot. The guy looked up at her again, “Ok, here’s one I bet you didn’t get. What are the characteristics of Gillian-class Menos?” “Gillian-class Menos, also known as Menos Grande, are larger hollows at the approximate size of a two-storey building,” Himawari replied, “They are formed from one hollow consuming others to the point that they become a singular entity, with no particular hollow having control. It is when one particular hollow takes control, that a Gillian may begin evolving into an Adjuchas-class Menos. Gillian also all have the same masks, making one Gillian look exactly like the next, meaning it is impossible to tell one apart from another.”
