Momo never usually realised the importance of some lessons, whats the point in learning about things that have already happened? We can't change the past but nevertheless she saw the importance of some aspects of learning.
She slumped through the door of the classroom, books hanging in her hand the lack of interest displayed by her facial expressions at that moment. she took a seat at the back of the room put her arms on her books and observed the other people entering the room, the popular ones, the geeks and the people like her who didn't really want to be there. When the teacher eneterd the room, the pupils stood up
Sit gestured the teacher in a flippant manner Momo under her breath mutterd
Wow this is going to be a fun lesson.
This humoured the pupil sitting next to her, the girl leaned over and inrtoduced herself with a friendly smile ,
Hi there, i'm Kaiyo, not something Momo would usually warm to,
but i've got to make friends sometime she thought to herself.
Silence boomed the teacher,
Now turn to page 23 in your textbooks the sound of pages being turned made momo smile, you could tell the people who had already flicked through the book and the people who struggled to find page 23. Momo hadn't even looked at the front of the book before she turned to the twenty third page, as it turned out this book explained the history of and the current Gotei 13,
well at least this isn't a complete waste of my time she thought. The second the teacher began to speak Momo began to zone out, she had already been taught 9 of the 13 sqauds by the members of noble family, she had even been introduced to two of them,
it does pay to be privellidged, her adopted father had told her once.
So Momo began to pay attention once the teacher reached her explanation of the tenth squad captain, after being prompted to stay awake by a hard poke from the boy to her other side.
Now on to the history, who was the first captain commander of the Gotei 13? Momo looked around the room and judging that no-one else was going to volunteer she lazily raised her hand
I believe the answer is Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai. The teacher raised one eyebrow slightly at Momo and raised a small half smile in the corner of her mouth
That belief would be correct, her gaze lingering over Momo for a second longer than it should have she continued with the lesson.
Kaiyo maybe you could learn a few things from your classmate, Kaiyo looked up in an indignified manner and at the thought of everybody looking at her, Momo looked around the room and dropped her head onto the desk. For the rest of the lesson Momo tried to keep a relatively low profile, only answering questions when the teacher adressed them to her specifically, she dutifully took notes of all subjects mentioned, although her history was already above the class average Momo liked the noise of a silent class taking notes. As the bell erupted the class into small talk, Momo rose slowly from her desk and was stopped by the teacher while trying to make a brisk exit,
'I'd like you to revise chapter 3 from the book, i think you'll agree with me when i say you know chapters one and two well enough?'. Momo was warming to her new teacher, she was an observant woman who payed attention to the smallest of details.
That's probably why she's a history teacher Momo chuckled to herself while leaving the class.
