Kajitora sat in his Hollow 101 class, looking out the window towards the gardens. He wished to be outside in the fresh air, and not locked up in some smelly air conditioned room crammed with too many people. He watched as his teacher, a young man with wild black hair and bags under his dark eyes, passed out their first test of the semester. Kajitora knew that knowledge of hollows would serve him well in battle; he just didn't like the conditions under which he was taught. He'd rather be taught all those Hollow preparations outside. He decided in that moment that if he even became a teacher for the academy that he would hold class outside. Once all the tests were passed out, the teacher oddly stared out into space and said, "You may begin."

Kajitora wasn't quite sure about the last question, but he was confident that he had at least passed the test. He was now one step closer to getting on the battlefield. He knew physically that he was ready, but he still had a lot to learn about his enemy-the Hollows.

Kajitora had made it to the next Hollow class: Combinations of Menos. He had stayed up all night studying for what some people called the hardest of the Hollow tests. It had been explained to him that it was the hardest test due to the fact that Menos can vary so much compared to other Hollow forms. After his teacher passed out the test, Kajitora took a deep breath and plunged into the questions with a focused determination:

Kajitora was sure he had done well on the test. He was thankful that his friend, which frequented the Human world had brought him a 'Red Bull'. It was Kajitora's first time ever trying a 'energy drink' since he had died during the time of the samurai. One can and he had been able to stay awake all night and he was sure he was going to be awake tonight as well. Much more effective than the first time Kajitora had tried a 'soda', that had been like Shinigami crack-but this 'energy drink' was like Super Shinigami crack! He had crammed all the information into his head, and there it would stay until Kajitora needed it in battle.

Kajitora's next test was one of the famed Arrancar, supposedly one of the strongest if not strongest Hollow. He was interested in testing his knowledge of the power Hollows. Such knowledge would be indispensable in battle. Kajitora's bizarre, spikey black haired teacher held the papers in an odd manner as he passed out the tests. The teacher held the papers at the edges like they were poisonous or diseased. Once the papers were passed out, the teacher yelled, "Begin!" scaring the students that weren't paying attention to him. Kajitora began the test:

An Arrancar's Sonido is so dangerous because? Kajitora wrote down: Because it is instinctive, it does not require teaching for an Arrancar to use it. Kajitora was already sweating after the first question; he couldn't imagine what the rest would be like.

Arrancar can focus their Reiryoku (Spiritual Power) to form a special skin called? Hierro, Kajitora wrote.

As noted by Former Captain Urahara Kisuke, what Arrancar ability is 20 times faster than Cero? Kajitora had read this in one of his books. He scribbled down the answer: Bala.

Provide two forms of Cero that were discovered during the war with Sosuke Aizen? Kajitora started with the easiest answer: Double Cero; and then wrote a Cero he had thought sounded cool: Gran Rey Cero.

What is the difference between an Arrancar's Ressurrection and a Shinigami's zanpakutou? The Ressurrection is a Hollow's power in the form of a sword, whereas; a zanpakutou is a manifestion of a Shinigami's soul.

Kajitora looked up at his teacher since he had actually finished early. He looked at the teacher's name plate that read: L. L, Kajitora thought, what kind of a name is L? Maybe I should change my name to K.

Kajitora was surprised he had made it to his last class in the academy, it was a comprehensive final. As he sat in his favorite chair within the classroom, he noticed that his normal (well, not so normal) teacher was gone and a substitute was sitting in his chair in front of the class. The new teacher had sandy brown hair and intense eyes. The teacher greeted the class, “Hello, everyone. I am your new teacher, Professor Yagami. Your previous teacher…probably won’t be coming back.” He flashed a smile at all the students. Kajitora looked down from the teacher to the desk where Professor L’s nameplate use to be to see a new nameplate that had Light on it. He gulped deeply and didn’t let his imagination run wild with the possibilities, he just wanted to take the test and get the f*** out of the class room now. I actually liked the first, weird teacher, Kajitora thought, look at me thinking like the teacher is dead or something.

One of the other kids in the class raised their hand, “Surely, Professor L will be back. He loved this class.”
The new teacher rolled his eyes and said, “Not a chance. He was killed by the Deathno-a hollow. Yeah, that’s its-a hollow. Death…nose. Deathnose, the hollow.” He looked around and then silently began to pass out the tests. Kajitora’s jaw was almost on the floor at the ease at which the new creepy teacher dismissed the possibility of his the former teacher being alive. He decided he didn’t want to know anymore about the predicament and looked at the test.

After the last question, Kajitora waited for the other students to finish. One of the smartest students in the class, raised their hand after the test. The teacher acknowledge them , “Yes?” The student remarked, “Wasn’t that advanced Hollow information. Half of the people in here haven’t even seen the books on that material. And wasn’t it suppose to be comprehensive?” The teacher just stared at him…and there was a long silence before the teacher took a notebook and wrote down something. The student immediately slumped over and seemed to fall asleep to Kajitora. The teacher smiled and informed the class, “The rest of you are free to go. I’ll deal with this one after class.”
