This was just embarrassing, at his vice captaincy test Jin had been ordered to go back to the academy and pass the test’s he’d failed if he even wanted a shot at the position, ahhhh those had been the day’s slacking off to sit in the sun, winding up his class mate’s as they sat up late revising for the next day’s test he’d found it all so funny the way they strived to better themselves intellectually and yet he, the man who wanted to be captain some day had just sat there thinking they’d give him a rank like that with a year of failed test’s on his record. Well here was where he paid for his mistakes, as he sat down in the small stuffy class room the cold steely gazes of unknown faces as they looked down upon the fool who’d been held back, the teacher gave out the paper for the quiz they were about too get dropping the three paged booklet on Jin’s desk as he sat in apprehension praying he’d learnt his materials
The tutor returned to the front of the class ringing a small gong to signal the students to begin, Jin looked down, despair quickly rushing over him as he realised these questions had him baffled already, this was a quiz about the lost race the bount, a chapter he’d only skimmed through knowing they were supposedly extinct why in god’s good name would he learn about a race that wasn’t even a live any more it wasn’t exactly as if they could cause much of a threat.
1. Who was the creator of the Bount race
Come on Jin you know this, he was sure he’d read that name somewhere even whilst flicking through the pages of his revision materials this one had stood out, it had been a shinigami that had created the bount of that he was sure , but what was the name….dammit…there it clicked, it was Ran-something he was positive that had been the beginning and there was something to do with squad 12, it was all beginning to flood back to him now, a woman had worked with Captain Urahara a the former leader of squad 12..TAO!! that was it Ran’tao, quickly he scribbled down the name 1 step nearer the end, a little confidence flowed through him now he’d passed the first hurdle and way on his way through this, it no longer seemed like an impossible goal.
2. What was the weapon used by the Bount
Jin scanned through his knowledge hoping to flag up a fact related to the question, but as expected it wasn’t going brilliantly. He could be sure it wasn’t a Zan-pak-tou he remembered laughing at the name of they’re weapon as it sounded ridiculous, and a fait voice in his head told him that it wasn’t the usual form of tool such as a blade, hammer , or gun. He was close, he could feel himself closing in on the answer but it just wasn’t coming too him. If only Suisho were here, he had recently found out that the spirit of his Zan-pak-tou had the uncanny ability to sift through his subconscious and remind him of thing he didn’t even know he knew, but it would appear he was not the first too discover this as they had all been ordered to leaved the weapon’s at the door, damn it, what was that infuriating name if he remembered rightly it had been like some kind of toy , a puppet maybe or some kind of action figure…..A Doll what an idiot he’d been “Action figure” stupid idea the answer was obviously before him with all those clue’s there was only one name that could possibly fit a weapon. Once again he scribbled down the words of his answer detailing the few abilities he remembered of these menaces, in particular the leader Jin Kariya who had lead the bount’s and had actually managed to seal his doll in his own body. Or at least Jin hoped that’s what he had read, the name had stuck out for being identical to his own but he couldn’t be sure if he’d just made up the other details under the pressure of the situation.
He slowly turned the page dreading the word’s he may read
