Sekkou exited from the Garganta and instinctively leaped into the shadow of the nearest building. He wanted a Shinigami soul tonight…hmm…how would he best go about reaching this goal? Perhaps a trail would work…yes, a trail that led the Shinigami to his doom. Sekkou pulled out the bloody Shinigami garments that he had removed from his last two victims. He chuckled coldly to himself. It was time to hunt.

He scaled the wall of the building he was in the shadow of and looked all around- he appeared to be in an industrial area. Sekkou sensed a Plus nearby; a glance in the direction he sensed in revealed a businessman whose chain hung down to his feet. He’ll do, thought Sekkou. He leaped from the building and plummeted down, landing directly on the man’s back. Sekkou devoured him quickly and without mercy. Now I’m ready to set a trap, he thought. Sekkou spread the blood all over the ground so it would be clearly visible to a Shinigami going past, and then ran off toward a more residential area.

Here, he found the soul of a small girl, which he consumed without remorse. As he felt the power such consumption granted him, he laughed inwardly. Sekkou was careful to get her blood on his hands only, and after this, went back to where he had killed the businessman and spread it on the ground nearby.

Sekkou repeated this process several times, eventually having the blood lead to a dark alley. He pulled out some of the Shinigami robes he had taken from his previous victims and ripped off a bit of sleeve, dipped it in blood and threw it on the ground near some blood. Then he punched his fist into the brick wall around the entrance of the alley to make it look like battle had given way here. Now, all he had to do was bait the trap.

Sekkou let his reiatsu increase, and then caused it to fluctuate several times, as if he was fighting. Finally, he gave a howl and let his reiatsu increase to its highest point, as if he had just struck a terrible blow. He then let his reiatsu fluctuate more. Any Shinigami nearby would think that a fellow Shinigami was being attacked, and would probably come investigate. Sekkou continued to let his reiatsu fluctuate and jumped. He used all four limbs to keep himself suspended over the alley, completely hidden in shadow.

Sekkou waited for a good twenty minutes before a Shinigami- a woman. Excellent. He nearly drooled in anticipation of his upcoming feast. As she entered the alley, she saw the bloodied sleeve. She drew her Zanpakuto and began moving into the alley. Just as she passed underneath him, Sekkou dropped silently. He landed behind her and tackled her from behind. His long strong arms pinned both of her arms to the ground, and his legs pinned her legs. Sekkou brought his face down and breathed on her neck. She let out a whimper of fear. It was like music to him.

“Scream for me…” he whispered. Then he crushed her skull between his jaws and devoured her unfortunate soul. So good…he thought. Then he opened a Garganta and disappeared back into Hueco Mundo.

Sekkou exited the Garganta accompanied by his four allies in a city he was well familiar with. He glanced around and felt a relatively large Shinigami reiatsu. Perhaps that of a seated officer? He turned to face his allies. “Do you feel that reiatsu? It feels stronger than almost any Shinigami reiatsu I have ever felt before. To take this one down, we will need a plan…” Sekkou leaned over and began whispering his plan to each of his companions…

The 16th seat of the 11th Squad was on a patrol in the Real World. He had his Zanpakuto out and at the ready. He started as Sukauto stepped in front of him from the shadows. Sukauto’s greeting quickly changed his expression to one of rage. “Hey yo dumbass, do all Shinigami look like goats or are you an exception?” Then Sukauto turned and ran.

The Shinigami gave a scream of rage and chased after him. Sukauto was easily able to outpace the slower Shinigami; and with this he was able to keep letting the Shinigami catch glimpses of him. This allowed him to essentially lead the Shinigami right into Sekkou’s eventual trap. He arrived at the intersection where Sekkou had told him he needed to get out of sight; so, Sukauto ran down one of the darker streets and concealed himself.

The Shinigami reached the intersection and looked around. Sukauto was nowhere to be seen. He began heading down the dark alley. An explosion rocked the front of the street- the Shinigami leaped back and looked up to see Bakuhatsu standing on top of an adjacent building. He shot out several more explosives, and forced the Shinigami to take the narrowest of the streets. This one led down to a corner that was blocked off, forcing the Shinigami left. This alley split off into two sections- the Shinigami was about to head down the left one again, but a Bala hit the ground in front of him.

Several hundred meters away, Sogekihei chuckled to himself. “Other way mate,” he said quietly to himself. The Shinigami rushed down the right passage to come out in a basketball court. Four turrets swiveled and targeted him. Kougakusha’s turrets opened fire. The Shinigami turned around to run back, but saw that his way was blocked by Sekkou, who had dropped down just a moment before completely invisible, but now visible.

The Shinigami quickly ran the other way and charged Kougakusha, dodging reiatsu pellets as he went. As he chopped down, Kougakusha sidestepped and punched the Shinigami in the face. The Shinigami stumbled backward- into Sekkou. Sekkou stabbed him in the back with his dagger-like right fingers. “In the back…” he muttered, and then punctured a lung. The Shinigami coughed up blood. Sekkou feasted…
