Summary of the Skill System:

The skill system we have in place covers five areas (which will be discussed in greater detail) Spirit Power, Speed, Intelligence, Kidou Mastery and Fighting Skill.

Skill points are assigned by the Staff (Admin and Moderators) in Threads/Rp's where deserving. Length, quality and storyline are taken very much into consideration when awarding points. You may request a specific skill by placing an Out Of Character notice at the top of the respective post. Eg. ((OOC: Speed points please)). Please keep in mind that your skill point request must be reflected in the content of your post.

The Skill System is a guideline for yourself and other Role Players so that you know what your character can and cannot do when facing an opponent. For instance a Character with 12 speed will NOT be faster than one with 20.

The Skill System also has an effect on what abilities you can use and what positions you can attain within the hierarchy of either Hollow or the Gotie 13. See Zanpakuto abilities and Squad Rankings for further information.

Bellow is the basic stat template. We will now go into detail about what each stat does in respect to roleplay on BWF.

Spirit power: This represents your overall stamina. The higher your Spirit power the more punishment you can take as well as how easily you tire from using Kidou and general fighting.

Speed: This represents your characters general melee speed. After level 20 you may achieve the ability to Shunpo. Each further stat point increases your ability at Flash Step or it's equivalent. Further explainations below.

Intelligence: A companion stat to Kidou. The addition of the two details the level of Kido spell you are allowed to use. When you reach 50/50 for both stats you open the possibility of creating new kidou spells for this site to augment Tite Kubo's official Bleach spells.


Kidou Mastery: A companion stat to Intelligence. The addition of the two details the level of Kido spell you are allowed to use. When you reach 50/50 for both stats you open the possibility of creating new kidou spells for this site to augment Tite Kubo's official Bleach spells.


Fighting skill: This represents your skill with your chosen weapon.

Kidou/Intelligence:

On BWF Kidou works like this. Both your Intelligence stat and Kidou Mastery stat are used to judge what level of Kidou you can use. For instance If you have 11 Intelligence and 50 Kidou Mastery you may use spells up to level 61. Kidou Mastery and Intelligence Cap at 50.
