| It's been a long time since I've been active here, but those emails about the captain contest peaked my interest once more so I've decided to return. Can anyone give me a brief summary of the current events happening in the RP? The last time I was here, there was an invasion from the arrancar and to my knowledge I'm not sure if that was ever resolved, although I'm sure either it was or it died  . Also, when I left my character (Shikyo) was the vice-captain of Squad 10. Has he been replaced or am I too assume that he still holds that position? If someone else has taken it though, I would like the opportunity to challenge whomever it may be and regain his spot. If not then Shikyo, Vice-Captain of Squad 10 is back after a long hiatus (which I'm tempted to explain through a re-introductory RP post wherever it's appropriate, just to get back in the swing of things). | |

| Welcome back to you. As things stand that position is currently vacant. You can return to your previous rank, but you should know the overall system has changed quite abit since then. You might want to look over the Information section to see what you've missed. Notes on the current storyline can be found in the Story Arc section. Hope to hear more from you. | |

| Interesting. With the new system in place, would it be better to just start off from zero again and resubmit my character as a new shinigami (although I would prefer not to do this), or can I simply change the name & number of the stats (for example: I noticed Intelligence has been replaced with Technique now) on my character sheet to fit what is appropriate for a vice-captain? | |

| Your choice honestly. Most returning people wanted to re-roll simply because they felt like changing the direction they were going. Fresh start and all that. | |

| The idea of a fresh start does sound appealing, and I feel that I have become more creative since I first developed Shikyo soooo I will re-invent him. Be on the look-out for a new submitted character sheet within the next day or so. I need to get reacquainted with the types of characters already in play before I decide how I'm going to redesign mine. | |
