Personality: Michael is a kind, caring soul. His passion for the Quincies is bested only by his hatred of the Hollows. He is indifferent to the Shinigami, although he does prefer to avoid them and their problems at all times. He cares for Eijo, his adopted son, more than anything else, though.


Appearance: Michael has an athletic build. His skin is tanned, he has curly brown hair, and his eyes are a chocolate brown. He doesn't really have a 'usual look', as he dressed different quite often, liking to try new looks until he can find one that allows him to fight without any hindrance whatsoever. His Quincy bow and Reiatsu are a simple blue.

History/Background: Michael was raised by a wealthy family in Los Angeles. Publicly, he was the not-so-spoiled son of a rich man. Secretly, he was being raised and trained as a Quincy practically from the moment he could walk. His entire family was made up of Quincies, and although at the time it was the norm for Quincies to hide and try and stay unnoticed, the Anviere's were far more public than that.

They actively went out and slew Hollows, which Michael was raised to hate, although he, unlike the rest of his family, understood that the Shinigami were only doing their duty when what happened next occurred. They came for them, in strong numbers. The Shinigami did not want the Hollow population to be too heavily depleted, and so they came after Michael and his family. They killed them, every last one, except for Michael, who hid and managed to stay hidden. At this point in time, he was seventeen, and so, taking what family riches he could, he ran.

Deciding he wanted to help with the training of new Quincies, he set off to travel, although he didn't succeed in finding any possible candidates until he reached Karakura Town. He decided that, unlike his family had done, he would keep things quiet, so that he wouldn't draw the attention of the Shinigami, and also so that they could stay hidden right under their noses, at one of the biggest hot spots in the world.

He now works on finding more possible recruits, so that he can one day find the Quincy's leader, and join him with strong Quincies at his side, although Eijo is beginning to be more like a son to him than a simple trainee...
