Hado No. 16, Sonic Wave Arrow! What it Takes to Be Stronger! (Kidou App)

Kyro stared long and hard at his target, breathing heavy, body shaking in its worn appearance. He was at the Academy's Kidou Grounds, training to learn a new Kidou. He'd been at it for the past week now, but he couldn't seem to get it down. The ability to master it seemed to elude him at every step, every corner, every crossroads. And he was angry about it. The fierce, furious look on his face showed it to be true. Kyro pulled his two hands back after having failed in his last try at mastering the Kidou. A muscle spasmed in his left arm, and it took him by surprise. He gripped the arm until the spasm stopped, and as it did, he prepared to try the Kidou once again. He gripped his shoulder, spun his arm back and forth a bit to make sure the spasm hadn't just subsided for a moment, and then placed his hands in front of him, arms stretched out completely, palms faced outward. He couldn't fail this time. He wouldn't fail this time!

"A single feather flutters. Sojourn on the clouds, bend the wind on my wings. Hado No. 16, Sonic Wave Arrow!" cried Kyro, and an invisible blast of v shaped Reiatsu formed in his hands. It shot forward at the target, but it only made it a few feet before it veered wildly off target and shot up into the sky. "Kuso! Kuso, kuso, kuso!" cursed Kyro, stomping his foot. He'd failed at producing the technique effectively, again! No matter what he tried, he seemed unable of successfully producing the Kidou! Every time, it either stuttered out into nonexistence, or veered completely out of control! In anger, he held two fingers out towards his target and shot a Thrust at it. It put a hole halfway through its chest, and Kyro was able to finally calm his furious mood, somewhat. He moved over to focus on a new target, the fourth one that way. The other three had all been destroyed in a similar way.

"Work, curse you..." he muttered, and then he held his hands out once more to try it again. "A single feather flutters. Sojourn on the clouds, bend the wind on my wings. Hado No. 16, Sonic Wave Arrow!" he growled, and immediately, the same v shaped blast that had come before. It shot forward, but just before it hit the target, it veered downwards and blasted a dent into the stone floor. Kyro's Kidou skills were powerful, but for some reason it always took him longer to learn the Kidou than others. It had always been that way for him, and he had no idea why. He did know that he hated the damnable curse, though. Kyro suddenly erupted in a blast of fury, firing Thrusts at every single target on the Kidou Training Grounds. All but one of them were hit, and with the last one, he saved it for the Kidou he was trying to learn. He closed his eyes, and thought back to the time when he'd actually still lived and was taught at the Academy. A time when he received a strange burst of power that lasted only moments, but had lasting effects afterwards that allowed him to become better with Kidou. He realized that he had to try and draw that energy out again.

"Alright, if I need to try and access that energy, then..." he murmured, and then he closed his eyes and searched deep inside of himself. It was weird, and he felt as if he were searching for a needle in a haystack, but he could sense it somewhere inside of him, where apparently he'd accidently stored a large amount of Reiatsu. After searching for a few minutes, he found it, and touched it with his will. However, he couldn't draw on it. It was as if a barrier were set up around it. He imagined himself there, and he imagined himself drawing his Zanpakutou and slicing the wall apart. As he did this, it felt as if a gate was opened and his stored Reiatsu flooded back into him for use. He grinned, and held out his hands once more as the energy took effect. He could feel the new energy once more. How he was able to seal and also access Reiatsu, he had no idea, but he was glad he could. "A single feather flutters. Sojourn on the clouds, bend the wind on my wings. Hado No. 16, Sonic Wave Arrow!" yelled Kyro, and a blast of Reiatsu shot forward and put a hole through the head of the target, exactly where Kyro had been aiming. It wasn't any stronger than it should've been, but it was more precise and actually worked, which was more than Kyro had been hoping for with this idea. Kyro grinned and gave a shout of triumph.

Suddenly, though, the Reiatsu retracted back inside of that cut off space inside of Kyro, and he was suddenly exhausted. He gasped and fell to the ground. It felt as if he were about to fall unconscious. However, he forced himself to stay awake. Whatever had happened, he had to test and make sure the effects wouldn't wear off, or at least, the part where when he tried to use the Kidou, it actually worked, instead of going haywire and either crashing into the ground or flying off into space. He held his hands out before him, took a deep, calming breath, and began to store Reiatsu in his hands to be used in the Kidou. "A single feather flutters. Sojourn on the clouds, bend the wind on my wings. Hado No. 16, Sonic Wave Arrow!" cried Kyro, and immediately, the v-shaped shot of Reiatsu flew forward and struck the target, and it blasted the target in the stomach. He'd been aiming for the chest, but still, it had worked! As he tried to let out a yelp of victory, a sudden weariness grew upon him, and he fell to his knees. He let out a gasp, and then hit the ground, unconscious from exhaustion. He'd succeeded, but he was too tired to even stay conscious. However, even as he was found unconscious from exhaustion and brought to a room to rest, he dreamt of celebration. Of course, then his nervous nature took over and it turned to one where everyone hated him for gloating. In his rest, he let out a yelp of apology.

16. Sonic wave arrow
Effect: From the caster's hand a bolt of condensed air is fired shaped like a "V" capable of cutting most common objects like a blade; stone, wood, cloth. Even if unable to cut an object it has strong enough force to knock it over if not backwards. It's speed is such that it disrupt the air as it moves toward it's target.
Chant: A single feather flutters. Sojourn on the clouds, bend the wind on my wings.
