In an rp I used to be in we stated where we were coming from and where we were going to. This way people could not pet in multiple places at the same time. If their pet and location didn't match up the post was not counted. You can't be fighting a hollow at the same time as being in a meeting in the 1st division barracks. If we want it to be as realistic as possible I think this would be a god idea

Ken walked into the kidou room. -insert rest of post- He walked out of the kidou room to his next class
(to shunpo room)

that would make it more realistic, but puts things on hold when other members in the rp stop posting. sticking to one actual rp at a time might be a good idea, but I see no limit to training threads that only involve the member him/herself.

agreed as long as it does not involve the STORY or any other character its no problem the academy example was just that, an example because training is what is on my mind right now.

This is true Dragon, but realize that posts don't necessarily have to coincide. For instance my first post was one about my past which has no influence upon what I may have been doing in the present which like you was training so I would tweak your theory a bit before considering such a rule. Ok let let me explain this a bit better

If you are posting in a story and your post effect the story (i.e. not history, training, etc) then show your location change. Things like this would include walking to the pub from 1st div barracks. Fighting a hollow in the real world, then reporting back to you captain. Talking to another captain then going to meet your captain for lunch. Things like that.

There's no real reason to say where you're heading at the end of the post unless you want to. You could say where your character is comming from if you want to effectively connect different threads as well as properly establish a timeline between them.

I can see what you're saying, but in truth it just seems like a bit of an unnecessary detail if you make it clear within the story. If we did that then you realize that there would be number of broken posts which would just be a mess to grade and to look at really. I think Kuro maybe right on this one...sorry friend.
