Momo nodded to herslef slgithyl as her spell cut Saroki's leg, her eyes straining as the girl blurred forward in a burst of speed, So she's a straight fighter Momo announced to herself, slightly worried at the speed with which she travelled.

Momo swung her sword slowly in front of her, thanking herself she had hit the girls leg, at least she had slowed her down a bit, the attack was strong and even with the amount of time Momo had to ready herself for the impact, she had been forced backwards; balance had never been a strong point of the black haired woman, and she tumbled backwards onto the ground; trying frantically to get up before losing her advantage.

Momo decided she'ds tick with what worked for her, only this time she'd have to be quicker, if she wasn't, she didn't think Saroki would give her enough of a chance to complete the spell, 'From my skin, I release the porcupine's spines. Inject the target, Hado 12, needle release' Momo wanted to end the fight as quickly as possible, she hated being the spectacle of so many people, the sun beat down hard on her skin as a hundred small needles penetrated from Momo's skin and shot out towards Saroki, now we'll see how fast she is, Momo mused to herself.

Already tiring from the fight Momo had to keep her head in the fight; or risk losing.

Saroki did not expect Momos reaction time, her eyes started to lessen with determination, and more insanity, she bursted forward as Momo lost her balance, though she listened to the incantation Momo had chanted, Uh-oh... She was familiar with this type of Kidou, a hundred needles shot at Saroki, before Momo had even finished the incantation she had gotten ready to try to dodge the attack, but she didn't have enough time, as she bursted up into the air the needles caught her, she was covered in at least fifty needles, she felt the searing pain fill her, she started trying to pick them out, a few went straight through her, she yelled out in pain, though she was loseing too much blood she only used it as motivation. She was loseing the ability to fight at a alarming rate, she was about twenty-five feet in the air, she started to fall, she landed behind Momo, she landed on her feet and trembled a bit, the needles had done some serious damage to her, she then got up to her feet and faced Momo, she smiled a bit, a bit of blood seeped out from her wounds and spilled onto the floor of the arena. She held her Zanpakuto with both of her hands, she flash stepped next to Momo, it seemed she was superior in close combat, she attempted to swipe her Zanpakuto into Momo's chest as fast as she could, she also attempted to swipe her left leg under Momo's legs to knock her off balance.

Even after being ambushed by several needles Momo hadn't expected Saroki to be so quick with her next attack; her blood dropped quickly to the ground as she flash stepped next to Momo.

Reacting too slowly Momo's blood was splatered along the arena floor, slightly shocked at her wound Momo barely managed to throw her body backwards and avoid Saroki's swipe at her legs. Almost immediately Momo felt faint; the wound itself was quite deep and covered her whole stomach. Momo glanced down quickly at her wound, but her facial expression stayed empty.

Momo wasn't used to being hit; and she had laready drained her spiritual energy quite a lot, unlike the previous battle Momo wasn't planning on risking her life, but she still wanted to win, and she decided she couldn't do that as long as Saroki had her weapon.

Pushing one palm out Momo called,'Expel the weapons of war! Disarm my opponent, Hado 5, Disarm!' The pulse sent from Momo's hand managed to throw her balance, but she still flash stepped in. Hoping her attack had worked and Saroki's Zanpaktou had been knocked out of her hands Momo took her advantage and swung her sword above her head, aiming it down across the girl's body.

Saroki grinned a 'Expel the weapons of war! Disarm my opponent, Hado 5, Disarm!' A wicked sneer was wiped across Sarokis face. It had seemed Momo was going to try to knock her weapon out from her hand, Sarokis Zanpakuto was quickly forced out from her hand and thrown to a few feet away from her, she brushed back her hair, a bit blood stained from the fight.

Saroki could clearly see Momo flash step near her, she watched as Momo swung her Zanpakuto above her head aiming at Sarokis body. She quickly raised both of her forearms to attempt to block the attack, though she was just a bit too slow and Momos Zanpakuto cut a semi-deep gash into Sarokis shoulder. Though most of the impact was stopped by Sarokis foreamrs, blood seeped out from her shoulder and forearms, she was used to being hit by various weapons. Saroki was forced down a bit from the impact of Momos Zanpakuto, She then forced her forearms to the side at the same time throwing off Momos Zanpakuto to make sure she couldn't unleash another attack.

Saroki quickly jumped back a few feet, her uniforms right sleeve fell to the ground, exposeing her blood covered arm, she grabbed her shoulder in pain, she still wanted to win. But her wounds wher bad, and she didn't know if she had enough power to carry on. She shook her head and aimed her arms at Momo, In a emotionless voice she yelled out "Hado three! Crimson strike!" A red energy beam shot out from her hand, the red beam raised to Momo, it could be easily blocked or dodged, she was horrible at Kidou yes, but she didn't need it to hit, as long as it distracted Momo. Saroki then dived for her Zanpakuto grabbing the handle, she then stumbled to her feet hopeing the energy beam had distracted her long enough so she could ready herself for a attack.

watched coldly as Saroki's sleeve fell to the ground; revealing her blood soaked shoulder. Momo's eyes widened at the red energy ball formed at Saroki's palm, 'Fuck'.

Momo threw her body sideways; missing the majority of the attack but still getting shot in her foot by the attack and tumbling along the ground. Momo looked down to her foot; it was bleeding, but didn't hurt as much as her stomach. Curling forward on the floor Momo gasped slightly at the blood pouring heavily fromn her stomach, her dive hadn't been such a great a idea.

Getting up quickly Momo mentally cursed herself for not realising that Saroki was just distracting her to get her Zanpaktou; her face frowning slightly before returnign to her usual cold emotionless face. Momo watched Saroki for a moment, neither of them could hold on much longer, and the crowd knew it. The jeers and calls from the crowd were starting to really annoy Momo. Clenching her fist Momo stared at Saroki. 'Hado 2, reel!' she called just as Saroki had picked up her Zanpaktou; flying the girl towards her Momo. Raising her Zanpaktou and preparing to swing it down Momo stared into Saroki's eyes as she flew closer to her.

A devious smile was wiped across Sarokis face as she disconnected the crescent blad at the end of her Zanpakutos handle, only a single durable chain connected the two weapons. She looked at Momo only to be pulled in to wards Momo. She smiled, it saved her the work of haveing to get close to Momo, to speed up the process she chargeing at Momo while she was being pulled close to her, she raised her Zanpakuto in front of her, ready to use both the crescent hook and the blade of her Zanpakuto.

As she was now in range for a attack she stared up at Momos Zanpakuto. Momo had guts, she may had been good at Kidou, but Saroki was superior in her fighting skill, Momo was better off using Kidou, or thats what she thought. She quickly attempted to swipe her blade four times on Momos Zanpakuto hopeing to stop a attack from landing, she then flash steepped behind Momo and raised her crescent hook, she then attempted to stab her left shoulder with the blade, she had not used her second weapon in the fight yet, and she was glad she did. She was still in the spell and was forced to stay close to Momo, She raised her weapons and prepared for another attack as she flash stepped a few inched away from Momo hopeing she would not get hit by a attack.

Momo had to react quickly, sheswung her balde down to the left then diagonally up, followed by a horizontal sweep and a vertcial body block; Momo let out a sigh of relief as each of her movements were met with the sound of metal colliding. Momo regretted her attack and her spel had moved slower than she had hoped, giving her opponent the advantage.

Momo was still proud of blocking the four brutal attacks which she felt the all too familiar cold pain in her shoulder, Momo turned as Saroki leapt backwards. 'For fuck sake' she screamed quietly; trying not to make the crowd hear her.

Momo stared blankly into teh eyes of her opponent as she fell to her knees in pain. Cursing herself for not being used to pain Momo's sword hung loosly by her side as she coughed up some blod forwards onto the arena floor. The crowd going wild at the fight Momo looked up as the referree walked over, she nodded to him as she watched the 4th squad members run out to her. Momo felt a stretcher was a little un-neccessary but she was far too tired to argue with them, lying back as they feebly carried her to the competitors tent Momo sighed heavily.

She probably could have continued for a little while but she knew she wasn't going to win or cause much more damage to her opponent; quitting her losses and reducing the damage she took was her best option so Momo took it. Nodding in appreciation to Saroki as she was placed on a make-shift bed in the competitors tent.

Saroki grinned a bit as she saw she had finally beaten Momo, it felt like a weight lifted from her shoulders. The truth was the needles from Momos kidou had penetrated a few vital organs, Saroki sighed a bit, she looked at the floor of the arena. This fight was nothing like the one with Kaiyo and Himawari, blood was all over the floor, Saroki was already defeated, she can just endure pain and damage. She shrugged a bit as a stream of blood ran down her mouth edge, she didn't bother wipeing it off, as where ever she stepped a puddle of blood would form anyways, it was clear she was damaged, a deep gash in her arm and leg, a few dozen needles sticking out from her body. She walked to a nearby bench and sat down, she ripped her shirt off, thank god she had a second t-shirt underneath, she then started pulling out various needles. Their was a box of bandages underneath her, after she was done takeing out the needles she started putting bandages on her wounds. When she was finished most of her body was covered in bandages. She then put her black uniform top on again, which was now ripped down the middle, exposeing the bandages. Her expression was dead serious, 'Hey you won!' Akugou Naito yelled inside Sarokis mind, she growled a bit and responded 'It wasn't easy...' She thought to herself, 'So? You still won!' Akugou Naito told her, a hint of sarcasim in his tone, Saroki sighed and watched the arena, the crowd was still cheering at the battle. She would like to ask Momo to teach her some of her moves, she was a deadly opponent, Saroki would never want to face in a real battle...

Kaiyo stood up and smiled as Saroki and Momo entered the tent, giggling to herself slightly, Kaiyo hadn't expected Momo to go all out in the fight.

Kaiyo glanced around the tent and stared slightly; she wandered over to Himawari and nudged her slightly, 'Who's next' she asked happily. If there were no more fights Kaiyo thought inviting audience members to join the fight would be a good idea.

Kaiyo had a look down at her wounds; the 4th squad were good, and they worked quickly. Leaning forwards and backwards Kaiyo smiled, 'We can go for audience participation if you like' she smiled.

Kaiyo smiled appreciatively to Saroki; she'd fought really well, especially considering the damage she took.
