"True. If I remember right, you're 10th Squad, right?" Ryouta responded. He dispelled the blade around his hand. "Let's see now, what should I try next? Hmm...Koshijutsu...and maybe some Jutaijutsu. Yeah, I'll go with that."
He stretched and yawned. "Well...here I come." Ryouta ran toward Shikyo. Actually, it was more like a leisurely jog- then as he neared him, Ryouta flash stepped directly in front of him in the hopes of disorienting him. After all, he would probably have been predicting the time it would take Ryouta to reach him, so Ryouta was hoping his almost instantaneous arrival in front of him would distract him for a second.
Anyway, Ryouta began launching a series of quick strikes at Shikyo. Oddly enough, he wasn't using a standard fist; rather, both his fist's knuckles were extended to cause cramping and sharp pain in muscles if hit exactly the right way. Though he seemed to be attacking more with his right arm- his left was often hanging back defensively. Ryouta aimed general blows mostly at Shikyo's clavicles and vital internal organs, like his liver and carotid artery, though his goal was not to hit any of those.
As Shikyo blocked each blow he threw, Ryouta watched carefully. There! His opportunity! Quick as lightning, his "lazy" left hand came up and struck a blow at Shikyo's right radius bone in an attempt to either numb his hand or break the bone itself; either one would cause obvious disadvantage in battle...and a suitable distraction.
As soon as he threw off this shot, he flash stepped behind Shikyo and aimed a kick at the back of his left knee in an attempt to get him to fall to the ground. Then, he flash stepped above him, slightly higher than before, and came down with a kick that would in all probability break Shikyo's left shoulder blade and/or damage his carotid artery as well.
