The captain of second squad sat in her office, the sun shining in through the single window. She sat stiff backed and rigid awaiting the fresh meat being sent to her.
Apparently smart and fast, he was quite the young hopeful and had pinned this squad out as the place he'd like to be.

The second squad wasn't for just anyone, speed and intelligence was required along with a ruthless nature and cold hearted precision. If Ayame could demonstrate these skills maybe he was in with a shot of becoming her Vice Captain.

Ryouta was jogging down towards the 2nd Squad HQ, eager to meet the Captain in person, but also apprehensive. He was confident in his abilities, but he wondered what kind of person the Captain was. He had tried to find out information about her, but had been largely unsuccessful.
As he approached her office, he raised his hand to knock on the door. After he knocked, he waited about 3 seconds before sliding it open and dropping to one knee.
"Ohayo, Ni-bantai Tai-chou!" After keeping his head bowed for a little over a second, he looked up at her expectantly.
ooc: it makes sense that i should know the captain's name- are you going to make one up or should i?

OOC: Neither, their just npc’s used for the time until yall can take the mantle no need to give them names and what not.

She looked over at the prostrated figure in front of her and keeping the expression on her face neutral stepped lightly up from her seat and walked over to inspect him closer.

He carried ninjato, she smirked at this but didn’t mention it. He was on the whole average looking, not overlly tall not striking in any major way just right for the 2nd squad.

‘‘Stand up.’’ Looking the man in the eyes she gave him a hard piercing stare and then nodded slightly as his gaze didn’t waver.

To join the 2nd squad you must be fast, you must be intelligent and you must be ruthless.
Show me that you fit in with the most deadly killers in soul society by:

- Gaining 15 speed (complete)

-Gaining 20 intelligence

- Complete a mission assignment from myself. (complete)

"Hai, Taichou-sama! Shall I complete those tasks in that order?" Ryouta remained on his knees, a gesture of deference to her, though he maintained eye contact with her.
"And, forgive me for my audacity, but what is the mission?"

ooc: do you mean gain that many points, or reach that many points?

OOC: No I just mean get them to that number.

Sitting back down on her chair she looked at a file on her desk and then back to Ryouta.
''The job is one of assasination, a renegade shinigami who has taken up residence in the district of Zaraki. It will be hard but if you can manage it then I will think of letting you be my Vice Captain. Now go!''

"At once, Taichou!" Ryouta flash stepped away, eager to complete the mission.

Ryouta flash stepped back into the 2nd Squad Captain's office. He looked much the same, except for some bandaging around his torso. "The task is done, Taichou! The renegade is dead! And seemingly by natural means!"

The Captain looked up at the Shinigami and let a small smile play across her lips.

"Well done...Vice Captain" Was all she said and then returned to the work upon her desk.

"Arigato, Taichou-sama!" Ryouta tried valiantly to hide the broad grin that was spreading across his face, but failed. Instead, he nodded his head and exited the room.
