Sereiti.....
It housed the Gotei 13, the court of pure souls, and so many other remarkable building and objects that most didn't know about. Yet on this fatefull day the most intruiging thing in Sereiti, to Kaiyoat least, was a Officers bar she had found, only lieutenants and captains were allowed in, and to Kaiyo's joy, they served milkshakes. The pint sized Lieutenant had been hiding inthat particular bar, shirking meetings and responsibilities like most of the captains in there.

Kaiyo turned her head to the door slowly, almost certain she'd heard something odd, the blonde haired girl bounced off her bar stool and walked slowly out of the bar and into the brightly lit streets of Sereitei

Momo wiped down her slightly dirty uniform, she hadn't meant to get ina fight, but when smarmy guys who think female shinigami are just there to lookat start shouting off.....well Momo felt she made the right choice. The raven haired girl turned around quickly, adding an extra kick to the kicks ribs. 'Oh, hi Kaiyo' she said in a blank manner. 'You found the Officers bar then?' she quizzed, although she didn;t really sound that interested. Momo glanced over her shoulder as the man had stumbled back to his feet, rushing towards Momo angrily as the raven haired woman spun around and flew her fist into the guy's gut, his body lunged inwards as he flew back to the ground. 'yeah...i didn't start that' she mused.

As usual, Saroki was on a mission, not a very good one by her standards, but she really couldn't say no. Saroki was ordered to find and capture a runaway shinigami, yes, a runaway. Not a cruel evil shinigami that was to be brought back dead or alive, this mission didn't really suit Saroki in multipale ways, but again, she couldn't say no. Saroki had found the runaway after hours of searching, but of course it wasn't going to end like that. The annoying bastard ran away, leading Saroki on a goose chase all the way to Momo and Kaiyo. Finally the young boy had stopped, right on the roof of the officers/captains bar. The shinigami unsheathed his zanpakuto, "Why won't you just leave me alone?!" The young shinigami yelled out, ready to burst out in tears. Saroki sighed and walked closer to her target, "Shut your mouth! You wher the one who tryed to run away!" Saroki said in a irritated tone, Saroki didn't know any details of this shinigami in training, and frankly she didn't care. Her job was just to return the kid to the academy, nothing more.

The boy swinged his zanpakuto wildly at Saroki, a truely pathetic attempt to keep her back, Saroki dodged every attack, grabbing the boys ear and starting her walk back to the academy. Suddenly three other shinigami jumped up onto the roof, "The academy sent us to get the boy back, they figured you couldn't do it. So i'm afraid we will have to take the kid off your hands." The 'leader' of the group announced to Saroki, Couldn't do it?! Grr... Saroki was clearly unpleased with this, he had finally catched the target and some other shinigami wher gunnu' take all the credit! "Fine, whatever.." Saroki said in a grumpy tone. Saroki threw the kid towards the shinigami, turning around and walking, jumping off of the building, landing onto a beat-up looking shinigami. Saroki sighed, not bothering to look down as the poor shinigami coughed and begged for mercy. Saroki walked towards Momo and Kaiyo, "Hi Kaiyo-san and Momo-san.." She said in a slightly depressed tone.

Kaiyo opened her mouth to say something about Momo beating up another shinigamiwhen Saroki jumped onto the poor guy. Kaiyo wasn't sure what to say, so instead the girl just smiled weakly. 'Hi' she mumbled, peering around Saroki to the guy near tears. 'Whats wrong Saroki?' Kaiyo quizzed, bounding closer to her friend. Kaiyo paused, spinning around to ask Momo something, 'And why did you try to kill someone...' Kaiyo leant down, looking closer at the guy as she carried on talking, 'From my squad' she smiled between her two friends.

Momo let out a sigh, staring blankly at the kid being dragged off by some shinigami, even after Saroki had taken him down. Momo glanced down to the guy as Saroki jumped onto him, served the guy right. Momo looked closer to the guy as Kaiyo asked her about killing a guy from her squad, 'He deserved it, shouting off about female shinigami just being action because they're fun to look at' she said in a cold tone, nodding her greeting to Saroki. 'And yeah, whats up with you Saroki?'. Momo stretched casually, stepping closer to the rather beaten up thug from the 11th squad, Momo leant down and picked up the guy by his collar, 'That was your warning beating by the ay, next time i won't even try and stop myself' she said in a coldmanner, it was damn near impossible to read Momo, she showed no emotion at all. Although she did like Saroki, she found Kaiyo a bit energetic but the kid wasn't that bad. 'Hey, are you meant to be leading a squad exercise Kaiyo?'

Saroki wore a bored expression, the shinigami down at squad five had been stealing all of her missions, well, it wasn't officially considered 'stealing'. It was labeled as 'back-up' Which didn't suit the situations AT ALL. They kept gettin' the credit while Saroki did all the work. At least thats what Saroki described it as, she sighed as she looked at the roughed-up man, Momo's gunnu' crack one of these days.. She thought to herself. "The bastards down at squad five keep taking the credit for all my missions, to put it bluntly..." Saroki said in a bored tone.

Saroki threw a parent-like glance at Kaiyo, Ughh...Not again... Saroki shrugged in her mind, Kaiyo was well-known for neglecting her responsibilities as vice-captain. One thing Saroki incouraged her to stop doing, Saroki sighed with a slight smirk, "You really shouldn't neglect your duties Kaiyo-san..."

Kaiyo smiled sweetly, 'It's not neglecting if they didn't know they needed me in the first place'. Kaiyo nodded slowly at what Momo had to say, in fairness, most shinigami knew not to say that kind of stuff around her, and the guy in question had never been so welcoming to Kaiyo anyway. Eager to change the topic Kaiyo returned to Saroki's initial annoyance, 'Really? I thought they were just doing that to me as well. Everytime i get given a cool mission i'm just about to get back and they come in and tell me backup was called' Kaiyo didn't bother hiding her annoyance in tha matter, it had started to give her a bad reputation, and to make matters worse the blonde girl had taken this hunch of hers to the 5th squad Captain, and had through lack of a better word blamed it all on him. Kaiyo had been given just over a month of taking the 5th squad for training and exercises. 'Being Lieutenant sucks, i wanna be a Captain, then i can get my Lieutenant to do all the work' she grinned widely.

Kaiyo paused in her trail of thought, the evil genius inside her pushing to the surface, 'Hey, aren't the 5th squad doing a really important escort right now?' she grinned, her reaitsu spiking in the excitement of being able to swoop in take the credit for once. 'I'm hungry' she rambled once more, the tactical genius of the combat squad's Vice Captain.

Momo smirked at Kaiyo, the girl may look innocent but she had evil thoughts. 'Yeah how'd the 5th squad exercises go last time Kaiyo?' Momo had heard through the grapevine abut the 11th squad Lieutenant unceremoniously yelling at the 5thsquad captain for 'stealing her cool missions'. Momo leant back gently against the wall, 'Hey i don't mind ruining a mission, but your the one who'd get the blame Kaiyo, and maybe you too Saroki what seat are you again?'.

Ignoring Kaiyo's stupid remark of doing less work if she was a captain, Momo's mind wandered onto the chucklsome thought of the lazy Lieutenant being given an equally lazy vice captain when she eventually made Captain. Momo held out her hand, plam facing the ground as she held it out to Kaiyo's head height, 'Your not even pint sized, more like half-pint sized are your still hungry?' she said ina cold tone, but Momo rarely spoke with much emotion that wasn't annoyance or anger, blank emotion was usually for when she was around friends.
