Okay i'll be a little shocked if people have't seen death note because it is a damn good anime, and i think its pretty amazing how accurate the characters are in the films they made as well but the films in general i gotta say are nothing compared to the anime.

seriously its a preety sweet anime the concept might sound kinda stupid but the psychological battle that go on between the two main character are great to watch

favourite character would probly be L or Near and i hate mellow cause he's a dick who's just pointless

meh, my fave character is ryuk. he is hilarious.
anyway, i'd probably use it first on my bitch of a boss. and probably then on all the crooked CEOs in the country. but first make them give me a sizable bit of their fortune- and all my friends too. let's see...after that, i might even go political and take out Kim Jong-Il. lol

yes i watched death note.. its more of a dramatic type of anime than like a hack and slash.. like bleach or dbz or something.. but it was ok... i personally wanted light to take over the world.. but thats just me.. lol

it *was* a pretty sick anime. anyone watch the director's cut? i loved the part where light goes to L's funeral. that was awesome. i love crazy maniacal laughs

I agree with Tanju, I was really hoping Light would just take over the world...so much so that I went to fanfiction.com and started reading someone's sequel where he does just that.

I didn't watch death note, I read it. I usually prefer the mangas to the animes...unless the anime is the true storyline that came first like Vandread and Code Geass.

Tanju and Shikyo, I knew you guys were my brothers! I wanted Light to win too. I like L but my loyalty was with Light since the first few moments of the manga. I haven't seen all of the Anime but I want to see this director's cut and see the funeral-that sounds kewl. I don't like Mellow and Near obviously because they pretty much did all of Light's work that he did towards defeating L.

ryuk was my favorite character. he totally won

Lol, thats totally true. Maybe if I think of it as Ryuk winning its not that bad a defeat for Light.
